If I need a serious kick, the XXL does the job perfectly without needing two separate capsules.​Milk Frother: The milk frother on the side is excellent—it makes café-quality foam and is very easy to use.​Value for Money: The price is totally legit. For the build quality and the features you get, it is extremely good value.​The Coffee:​I’ve already registered and received a great discount for the pods, and I’ve got my first bulk delivery on the way.The coffee is exactly what I was looking for: good, strong, and nice.L’OR seems to focus on the coffee quality rather than just "shiny pods," which I really appreciate. I brought this coffee machine for our office. It arrived very well packaged, and from using it, its amazing. It was very easy to setup, and you can be up an running in no time. After using this machine for a while, it can make some noise, but nothing too much that bothers me personally. The milk frother also works great, and froths the milk a good level of froth. I will mention that I would like this machine to have froth modes, but for price, it does a great job.In terms of coffee pods, I like the fact you don't have to use lor coffee pods only, you can use your supermarket versions, which can save money. However, after trying all the lor coffee pods, intensities 7-12, I like them all. A mix of 7 individual different packs of coffee is around £40, this sounds alot but I believe there is 7-10 pods. Either way, that's a lot of coffee to work through, so for £40 your getting 7-12 intensitys with different flavours of coffee, my pack had decaf, if your a decaf coffee drinker.

Fantastic machine, everyone is enjoining it so far, great price.

The machine itself is good and more importantly the coffee is good and there’s a good selection of coffee strengths, I like the fact you can buy double size pods.The dislikes - the machine is a bulky and too big to fit properly on the Amazon capsule drawer storage box.It’s a bit ‘plasticky’ and doesn’t seem as good build quality as the Lavazza machines.The main problem is the frother *beware* it’s a waste of time - don’t bother buying it attached to the coffee machine. It only takes a minute amount of milk to turn it into - and I’m not kidding the volume of a house! Why? Who needs this amount of foam, it’s pointless! Am I doing something wrong because you can’t seem to make a long drink with milk. So just buy a separate milk warmer and frother - problem solved!

Easy to use excellent

Of course, the flavour of the coffee is down to the capsules you buy, but, having never had one of these types of machine before, I'm completely sold on the convenience. I have a small espresso machine and seperate bean grinder, and froth the milk using the espresso machine's spout, and this is great, but involves a fair bit of cleaning.The Philips, on the other hand, is cleaned in a minute or so, quickly removing the relevant parts and running them under the tap, wiping off, etc. Even the milk frother takes no time at all to clean, so long as it's done straight after use.Some users find the frother not to their likiing, but it's perfect for me. Filling it half to the "max" line does a single cup of milk with practically no liquid left, and to the line leaves some hot milk and enough froth for 2 cups. Given it's only producing coffee for one or two cups at a time, that seems fair. The milk comes out beautifully, just as required for cappucino, for example. For a latte, it's not going to give you the same amount of hot milk liquid plus foam needed - but the machine isn't really aimed at that drink.I've not yet tried the cold milk setting - the weather's not been so blazingly sunny since I received the machine.I'm using it with Odd Coffee pods to make use of normally disposed of coffee, but given it takes the original Nespresso type, there's a wide range of choice out there.Personally, I think it's worth every penny paid.

Utter utter junk. Flimsy handle that broke in weeks. Before it broke it just mangled pods. Before that it just made dirty water, not coffee. Even the brief time functional it was no good and dribbled far too long. I sent it back to be fixed (I clearly stated 2 problems - it came back with a note that just one of them i.e. the lever was now fixed. It wasn't) I wasted 20 or 30 pods trying to make it work, lost losts of time calling Amazon about it. To their credit I got a refund for the machine but I asked for compensation for all the lost pods and they idnore my request several times then finally said no. Not good and the level I expected of Amazon. It's currently sat outside in a box yet again waiting to be collected. It even looks cheap outside. DON'T BUY!

L’ OR Barista With Milk Frother:It’s quite compact and sleek, doesn’t take up too much room on kitchen bench.You can use a variety of different pods and you can also recycle the pods via pod bags. My favourites at the moment are the flavoured espresso pods, would definitely recommend!Milk frother is easy to clean, and coffee pours out instant. I’m happy I managed to get it on offer.
