I was lamenting to my MIL about how I love feeding the hummingbirds, but it’s so high maintenance. Boiling water, stirring in sugar, letting it cool, then cleaning feeders of all the mold and gunk build up. She told me about this product and it has changed my bird feeding life! It’s sooooo easy to prepare and the feeders don’t get gross. It’s easy to stay on top of keeping the feeders full because the maintenance is so minimal now. And the hummingbirds seem to love it, too!

Well this is plain sugar. Some spilled and I thought that looks like sugar..so I tasted it, then read the ingredients on the bag...pure Cane sugar and micro traces of copper. So I Googled it and copper occurs naturally in sugar....save your money, it's the same measurements fir homemade nectar. 4 parts water 1 part sugar. Same as this is. The sugar is very fine granuals. I have some for meringue cookies. Just get sugar...lol

We live in the desert and my heart goes out to the birds that struggle to find food here. So, we care for some ducks and a few little song birds. I tried for a couple of years to attract humming birds using the "red stuff" humming bird liquid from Lowe's. Alas, only two humming birds. But then, thankfully, I saw this powder feed on Amazon and have been using it for 2-3 years now. My yard is ablaze with hummingbirds. We have about 6 regulars that come and many others, and one tiny one that looks like a baby hummingbird. Bottom line, this product accomplished my goal and I'll stick with it. Recommend.

My hummingbirds love, love, love coming to the feeder when I use this product. I notice a larger number of hummers coming to partake. I don’t need to change out the feeder as often, even in hot humid Florida. The solution stays fresh longer. I will buy this again!

Works as described and hummingbirds love it. It's nice to not have to change the feeders every two days because of the southeastern humidity and heat. The mix stays beautiful and clear for over 7 days and most of the time I have to refill and not change out their feeders. Worth the price and also easy to mix, just use hot water.

Forget making nectar from scratch. Well worth the money as this food mixes with water and lasts for 2 weeks even in the sun. Highly recommend! My hummingbirds love this stuff.

I bought this stuff originally when I got a feeder. It wasn’t available on Amazon and I found a cheaper alternative. However, fewer and fewer birds came and I ended up throwing away more and more unused nectar. Found this on Amazon and ordered. Sure enough, birds started coming again and I’ve even watch a fight or two over who gets to eat. I threw the other stuff away.
