Helped with my birth control nightmare
I took some bad advice from my doctor and started taking the โmini pillโ for birth control when my baby was around 10weeks old. I HAD an established milk supply, but within a week and a half my milk dropped drastically, so I quit taking it. We were cluster feeding again, I was staying up after the baby went to sleep to pump and giving her that bottle the next night before bed bc I didnโt have enough milk for her :( I was also trying to pump in the middle of the night so my body would produce more. This went on for a week, normally it takes 2-4 days for your body to increase supply, we had definitely been more demanding, but nothing changed. I had looked into Fenugreek but was put off by the warning that it can lower blood sugar levels if taken in large amounts. I found this product on amazon, it had other ingredients in addition to the Fenugreek. I am a skeptic, that said, within 24hrs my supply had increased, in this case I donโt believe in placebo effect, and maybe coincidentally my hormones leveled back out the day I started this supplement, but I doubt it. I think it really helped me. I have a ton of milk, I get engorged again, and Iโve got 41 oz in the freezer now, feeling pretty good about myself :) !! I rarely do reviews and this one turned into in a novel, but I read the reviews before I bought it, and am happy to help any moms panicking about supply issues. (P.S. -no one is paying me or giving me any incentive for my review, and I split the dose taking one in the AM and one in the PM)

Caused major spit up issue
I do believe these may have helped my supply, but unfortunately something in them made my daughter spit up profusely, a thick, mucousy spit up 4-5 times after each meal. I noticed this after I started taking the vitamins and consulted with our pediatrician. He told me it couldnโt be the pills based on the ingredients. So I kept taking them because he told me I should. Fast forward two months, Iโm talking to a new pediatrician about the spit up issue. She sees her spit up three times during the visit and agrees something must be bothering my daughters stomach. So I tell her about the lactation pills. She looks at the ingredients and also doesnโt think itโs likely the pills are causing it. But, she says if thatโs the only association Iโve noticed (I drink very little cows milk and pay attention to what I eat to see if there are any trends) then I should just try not taking them and see what happens. She said it would likely take 2 weeks for all the medicine to be out of my system and babyโs. On the second day of stopping the pills we noticed an enormous difference and it has only gotten better and better. Itโs been a week and a half now and she hasnโt had any major spit ups in a few days. The mucousy spit up is completely gone. These pills may work for milk supply, but if you notice your child is spitting up more, it could be a side effect of these pills.

Unfortunately they didnโt work for me.
These unfortunately didnโt work for me. I got them out of desperation after having my son and I was REALLY determined to be able to provide breast milk to my son. He was born with 2 teeth so that already caused issues right off the bat with being able to breastfeed directly. I had to supplement from day 2. On day 5, I became severely engorged overnight and was like ok great, my supply is coming in. My son completely gave up on trying to latch so I decided to really push for pumping. After all the research I did, pumping was producing roughly 60mLs total every 2 hours. But thatโs all I ever got. No matter how often or little, no matter if I power pumped, etc. i just couldnโt produce anymore. So I decided to give these a try. I donโt know if it was just the timing but within a week after starting to take these, my supply started decreasing and then by the end of the week, it was all gone. The only time I would have any milk come out was when my son would start crying and I would leak. Otherwise, there was no more let down, no more firmness. Whatever little milk there was, it was just gone. Iโm really happy for everyone that it worked for, I was just really disappointed that I didnโt have the same luck.

Increased milk supply
So I had a hard time with my milk supply in the beggining. I barely slept the 1st week after giving birth and just ate whatever and whenever I can. Then my son was hospitalized when he was a week old for severe jaundice. If you are not familiar with this, basically it can cause brain damage. The only way it leaves a newborn is thru pooping, but my son wasn't eating (lack of breast milk) so hence no poop. WelI I was lacking milk because he wasn't latching. So it was a vicious cycle. Anyways, we had to go to formula and I pumped in the meantime. My son had problems latching so milk production was still hard for me. I tried the lactation cookies (bought and home made), drinking lots of water, and massages on the boobies. These things helped but still low milk production. Only when I used these pills did my supply really increased. I attached a photo of my supply overtime and you can see how much it increased. I took the pills for 2 months and also did other practices for milk production. So I'd say the pills work, i just wish they weren't so expensive.

Worth the Purchase
I really enjoy Pink Stork supplements. I will start by saying, I have purchased 3 other brands of milk supply supplements on Amazon. I liked some more than others, but Pink Stork sets the bar higher than anyone else. I've taken True Milk and Postpartum Reset, so far. Both products are vegetarian, which I like, and seem to provide benefits reasonably fast. I've used True Milk several times to bump up my supply after having to skip pumping sessions. It's mild on my stomach, and I don't notice a laxative effect, like I did with other brands I had tried. I also found it difficult to find supplements elsewhere that had as many herbs as this one. Before trying this product, I was taking 3 other supplements just to have the ingredients True Milk has in one. The packaging is consumer friendly. I love that in a product. You don't have to decipher what each product does and what's in it or not in it. Pink Stork really seems on top of their customer service. Upon purchasing True Milk, I was provided with support access in case I had any questions. They really wanted to make sure I was happy with the product. I could tell the attention to detail and service provided for Postpartum supplements, could only be from that of a company started by a mother who has been in my position before. There are a number of Milk Supply and Mood Support supplements out there, but you most likely won't find the nice touch this brand brings anywhere else. These products worked for me. They do what they claim to do, and I am more than satisfied.

Helped baby tummy troubles AND milk supply!
This is such a great, helpful product! I actually took this the first two months after my son was born to try to alleviate some reflux issues he was having, and it definitely helped him. Once his tummy problems cleared up, I stopped taking True Milk because my supply was fine. Then, when he began eating solid foods a couple of months ago, my milk went on a steady decline and my son got more fussy and didn't sleep as well because he wasn't getting full. I tried dietary changes and increased nursing/pumping, but nothing seemed to work. I heard about Goat's Rue from another line of "mommy" products, and my already low supply dropped in half within three days of starting it! So, I decided to try True Milk again to boost my supply this time. It came in on Thursday afternoon, and I went ahead and took two capsules-one at supper, and one before bed. When we woke up the next morning I nursed my son and pumped 3 oz. AFTER I nursed him. The day before I started True Milk, I only pumped 1.5 oz. BEFORE nursing. My milk has continued to increase over the past couple of days, and my son is getting fuller when he nurses, which is helping him sleep longer for naps and at night, and he's fussing less. I am so pleased with this product! Not only did it help my son's tummy problems, but it also boosted my milk. Plus, as a vegetarian, I love that these use vegetarian capsules not gelatin. I've already subscribed to True Milk, and plan to continue using it until my son is weened.
