I purchased the 16” size. First the good. It is vey easy to set up and it is fairly sturdy. The set of vinyl sheets are very nice and durable. They do have a bend in them so I used my hair dryer to heat them up a bit and they flattened out and worked better. The lights are bright enough for shooting my jewelry and the extra reflective inserts worked well to soften the harsh reflections. This is much better than my homemade set up and takes up little room. The not so good. At first one set of lights didn’t work. I pushed on the connections and got it to work. I just hope it lasts. Also the controls are clearly mis wired. When I plug them in and turn the lights on, the lights on the control turn off. When the lights are off the controls light up. So when you are working in a dark room and need to dim the lights or use the control for any reason it is almost impossible to see. Not a deal breaker but it is annoying. As someone else had mentioned, you do need a USB outlet. Thankfully I had a couple extras lying around. Overall a good value.

UPDATE - I wrote to the company and they are sending me a new one Thank you Glendan! I loved this light box until it stopped working. its a year and a half old, and now will not let me turn it on. When i press the button, it has a strobe like effect, but when i let go, the light goes off. Disappointing, considering it did not get very heavy use. I would expect such a simple mechanism to last longer.

This light box is an excellent value for the price! It comes with everything you need to take professional quality images of small- to medium-sized objects. You get backdrops, reflective panels, the box with lights/dimmer attached, a USB charger, and a travel bag. It was very easy to set up (there are instructions, but it's pretty self-explanatory) and everything easily fits into the bag making it transportable. I did some experimenting with different objects, options, and angles. I used 2 objects of differing size and composition - a 3d printed version of a light saber hilt, and a mug my son made when he was an elementary school student. The photos that had the best quality (as the ones I attached here) are using the front photo window with the front door closed and the diffuser attached. The more light reflection, the better the photo. It's a great value for the price, and the photos are excellent. I would definitely recommend!

This is my second light box from this company. Both light boxes worked perfectly and are easy to use. I use them to photograph my art. I just ordered the bigger 16x12 box and love it! It is so spacious and I can photograph larger items now. This light box brightens up the colors of my art and helps produce bright, clear, professional looking photos. Without the light box my pictures were dark and fuzzy. I am a very happy customer. It's a real game changer!

I initially loved this lightbox. It worked well to begin with, but for something I only use for a few months out of the year, I expect it to still work a year or two later. Now it doesn't turn on with the provided power block, and only sporadically with other blocks. I tried to file a claim from the protection plan I purchased, but it won't allow me to select the type of product it actually is and the chat feature is conveniently unavailable, so I can't even file a claim! This is my second lightbox I've owned that has caused me trouble. Why can't these just power on consistently? That's really all it needs to do to be functional.

I've used this light box intermittently for the last 18 months with fairly good success. I photograph handmade cards and tags that I create to keep a record of them, although I would always end up editing the photos since the exposure never seemed bright enough. Anyway, the LED lights just up and quit recently, and no matter what I try (unplugging/replugging the cord into the outlet, pressing all the controls on the power switch), zero light now, and it's only been 18 months. Too bad, since it's a pretty good light box otherwise.

Product was as described and super easy to assemble and breakdown. Came with several backgrounds and a power adapter. The led light ring was bright and a diffuser made the light soft. The remote can be used to power, dim or brighten the light. Using it for 3D photogrammetry scanning and the results were excellent.

Mediocre light box. Barely used and tried to use today and the led ring light won't even turn on. Light was weak to begin with and glared on shiny surfaces making pictures unprofessional. No wonder its not available to purchase anymore.

I’ve been using the light box for a few months now and it’s still working great. My product photos have come out much crisper and brighter since using the light box. The only issues I’ve had are with the coloured background pieces which don’t hold up easily inside the box, they keep falling down even with the elastic in the back which is meant to hold them. In the end I added some small Velcro circles to the white background sheet (as I use this most often) and then use painters tape to keep the other backgrounds in place. But overall I’m very happy with the product.
