Great quality and static is normal
THIS IS WONDERFUL.My mom bought this for me so I could use my Metallica tapes and… WOW. Works just like the real thing. Also the static thing is normal for every cassette

Player is worth the price
I bought them for my daughter because she wanted to hear my old cassettes. She says the cassette player works well but the plug end of the wired earbuds already broke from normal use. Luckily I had a spare.

Like a walkman e
I have the CR-428. If you lived in the 1980s, you will remember the walkman radios. It is just like those without a belt clip and same size. Sound is good for cassettes and radio. Fm is clear.

Don’t Believe What You Read Don’t Buy
The reason I bought this was because my mother is in a nursing home and I need to record gospel music. It says it has DC but it doesn’t come like that. It requires a phone charger connection for the plug. I would not recommend I have to go buy a charger adapter to plug it into the cable. Not a value for your money at least with the cell phones you know that you have to buy that piece. So disappointed

That old school music investigation
Functional, didn't disappear randomly like my laser ghost tape. I never opened it, but I'm certain it was probably better than Graham K and I will have potentially hundreds of other tapes to listen to like I used to buy from thrift stores to occasionally play in my first car's tape deck, my 1997 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series.

Poor sound quality
I obtained this item because I have a few favourite cassettes to which I still like to listen. The sound quality is very poor. I had to hold it to my ear to hear anything. I'll allow for that my cassettes are not new, and I tried the ear buds, but they were uncomfortable and did not stay in place. It is simple to use, which is rare now that it is assumed that everyone uses smartphones and downloads. The one I had in 1980 was of a higher standard. The seller did reach out to me with a resolution, and I received a full refund for the one that I returned.
