Hooded Rain Poncho for Adult Waterproof Lightweight Raincoat

I don’t write reviews often but because I used and loved these ponchos I had to leave a review. They are plenty large enough for a large person with a backpack on. I’m 5’7 and the poncho went past my knees. I like that for one the rain doesn’t run down the material and wet my shorts like a rain jacket and two I was able to sit with the poncho on and have our backpacks and such under me at Universal to protect everyone’s stuff while my son wore one on a water ride and got off without a drop of water on him while his friends had to ride home on the bus soaking ringing wet. They are strong, you will be able to use them many times. They cost as much as the cheaply made ones that the parks sell!!

This rain poncho is lightweight, comfortable, and provides good coverage. It kept me dry during heavy rain, and the hood stayed in place well. It also folds into a small size, so it is easy to carry and store. Very useful!

Its one size so it depends on who is wearing it I find it really big for me as a woman at 145 pounds but it works for my husband who’s around 200 pounds. It is lightweight and and very compact when putting it in the luggage it seems very adorable and will not rip that easily. It is worth the price.

Perfect fit. I have broad shoulders and long arms and it covered my arms entirely. Kept me dry. Very lightweight.

I bought one of these each for my husband and myself ahead of our New Zealand vacation. We’re not avid outdoors-y people but we did know we’d be walking around and doing a lot of outside activities and that the weather could be unpredictable. They’re awesome - they cover you adequately (I mean, your shins might still get damp but the rest of you won’t) and it’s longer in back so it can fit over your backpack/day pack and still keep your rear dry. The hood has a cinch cord and a bit of a “bill” to partially shield your face. We’ve used it to walk around in the rain in the US, too. It breathes pretty well while you’re wearing it, and as soon as you give it a good shake when you’re done needing it, it’s practically instantly dry. (Almost.) Best of all - it’s EASY to get it rolled back up and into the travel pouch when you’re done, and that pouch takes up hardly any space. I will absolutely be taking this to Disney later this year. Love it!

This is a pretty decent rain poncho for light use, but that's about it. For anything heavier, I'd avoid this. Why? Here are a few reasons... - While the hood fits nicely, it keeps slipping backwards due to the weight of the back side of the poncho. This means your forehead and will get wet and ultimately, you're entire head. - The parts covering your arms don't cover much. So most of my arms got wet, including my jack sleeves. - It would be better if there were more buttons to button up on the sides. They're too far apart, which causes the material to flap easily in the breeze, which then gets rain inside. For the most part, I stayed "mostly" dried, but that was also in light rain conditions.

Bought this poncho for a trip to New Orleans. It did its job and kept me dry. I loved the color and it showed off my eyes. I even got complimented on the poncho. Who would’ve thunk a rain poncho could also be a fashion statement? I will wear it proudly each time I venture out into the storm.

Just bought another one for my husband! Great coverage, light and breathable! Perfect for rainy day travel… Don’t need an umbrella!

OK, but very light and flimsy. Will not last for long I expect. It's as thin as tissue paper. Also, the press stud joiners on the side don't seem to line up, which seems like a basic error. It will do the job. I guess being thin means it will compress down to a small space, if you need that.
