I installed five of these cameras around a small residential building I manage, and I’m really pleased with the results. The video quality is excellent – crisp footage during the day and very clear night vision. Each camera covers a good amount of space, so with five units, we now have full coverage of all key areas: entrances, parking, and common walkways. Setup was surprisingly simple, and the mobile app makes it easy to monitor all the cameras in one place. Motion detection is accurate without being overly sensitive, which helps cut down on unnecessary alerts. The system gives both tenants and myself peace of mind knowing that everything is being monitored 24/7. Also, the build quality is solid – they’ve been running smoothly through all kinds of weather. For the price, functionality, and ease of use, I’d definitely recommend this setup for other small buildings.

Fantastic camera I’ve had a fair few tried and tested some of the more expensive range of cameras and by far these have been the best for picture quality, ease of installation and ease of use . If that doesn’t sell it to you then their customer service is amazing ! Never to much trouble and easy to speak with. I would never go back to Reolink as had nothing but problems with them in the weather but these have been up now for over two years and I haven’t had to touch them and in the ovation I did have an issue the customer service rectified it straight away ! We live in the middle of the mountains and the weather is particularly harsh but these cameras manage everything that’s thrown at them. They’ve never lost service and it’s spotty at best here. The built in cloud option is easy to manage and you have lots of options to use also resetting the sd card is easy to do through the app my father in his 60s and has Parkinson’s and he manages easily to use the app and cameras.

I don't normally leave reviews on products but just felt I had to on this one. I bought this camera over 6 months ago now so it has seen plenty bad weather and days with little or no sunshine which was my biggest fear when purchasing that I would have have to take it down to charge it during the winter. Yesterday and today have been just about as bad as it gets here weather wise and the battery is showing fully charged right now. (It turns on when the motion detection picks up movement and records instantly) I have recommended this to a friend who like me, needed a camera in a place I did not have power or Internet connection available. I can at any time, open the app and see the location where I have the camera which has brought peace of mind. It is incredible value for money. I bought my own mobile sim card to put in it (I use GoMo in Ireland, €14.99 a month but it's worth it for the security. What has driven me to write this review is the customer service that comes with this. I thought I had an issue with the camera cloud storage but it appears to have been just my bank processing the payment was the issue as I had changed bank cards. I reached out to the company through the app and I was expecting the usual automated response you get from many companies these days, but a person named Rebecca was back to me the very next day and could not have been more helpful and I was up and running straight away. Not sure if the company ever see these reviews on Amazon, but if ye do, know that ye have a super team member in Rebecca. I had been recommending this camera in private prior to this but after the top class customer service, I said I'd stick a review up on Amazon. Long story short here. If you need a 4G Solar powered CCTV camera, you won't go wrong with this one. Easy to set up. Easy to install. It's a deterrent and its high quality. Can read number plates from the footage. I got it while on offer on Amazon, but it's easily worth it's full price if I had to pay it.

Edit 3. The camera and solar power through the winter where perfectly fine. It's been nearly 2 years and have caught 3 intruders onto my property. Police showed up on 1 occasion and I was able to listen to the conversation unknown to them. Imagine their suprise when I used the speaker to interrupt. Best money I've ever spent on a gadget. Edited Review. 2 So after a year and a much needed App update I dont actually have anyhting bad to say aboout the camera. If your in a situation where you dont have the internet this SIM option is perfect. But the tech support has been brilliant as well. I highly reccoment this camera. It seems a lot of the issue was with Vodafone. I changed carriers and since then any of the issues below have gone. Yes, there is the occasional connection delay, but in all it's been a much better experience. What I will say is how good the customer care has been. I have had the camera for a few weeks and I feel I am in a strong position to write a fair and accurate review. Its a mixed bag with a couple of deal breakers for me. The positives are there is a lot or really good things about this. If you are in a situation where there is no WiFi, then the SIM option is a great way round this, just go for a well known network in your area and not the SIM provided. Not only will you save heaps but you will get a stronger, more reliable connection. The camera itself is pretty decent, its zoom is still clear at quite a distance and the nigh-time camera is crystal clear. Even the voice works better than I was expecting, its not great, but people can hear and talk to you. The basic camera functions in the app are ok, not great, not good, just ok. Moving the camera about is a breeze, but that it as far as the positives. The motion detection, one of the most important part of the system, is quite frankly the weakest link. There is no point having a security camera that doest not come on where there are intruders. If the camera is anything above 3 meters, it is inconsistent, even set to high. Who puts a security camera lower than 3 meters where people can easily access it and break it? This for me was a fail for me. The detection should be good for 10m minimum, otherwise it's just a party piece and not fit for the job. You have to subscribe to get any video saves and accessed, and oh my god what a PITA this was to actually get to work. The app failed to process my transactions with PayPal. The only way I could get this to happen was link the phone to my PC and use the WEP option. Personally, the camera should be free is its going to be a subscription, and I would gladly pay more for a system that works well. You also have to give them a lot of your personal data, for what? Its a camera. So a lot of good things let down by poor movement detection and a terrible app. But this is one of the better option on the market, they just need to improve a couple of points and it would be perfect.

Excellent security camera, very clear videos, well-made with motion detection and night vision, very functional as you don't need wifi, I would recommend this camera, good size and solar powered. Excellent customer service from Rebecca.

Great camera. Easy to set up and the picture and video quality is excellent. The app is easy to install and it is great value for money. This camera was a replacement for one that developed a fault. The customer service especially Annabelle was amazing and they sent this camera free of charge to replace the faulty one. Great communication and no need for WiFi. This camera helps me to monitor my stables and horses when I am not there. Great for peace of mind. I would definitely recommend Xega over other cameras. They are better value and better quality too.
