Orthofeet Charlotte Orthopedic Women's Slippers

I bought these to wear with an ankle brace. They work great! I bought 1 1/2 sizes up to allow for the extra width of the brace but 1 size up with a wide width would be better. They are very comfortable and have very good arch support.

Bought these based on Amazon recommendation for slippers for PTTD and overpronation. They are both comfortable and provide adequate support. I like that I could interchange them with other supportive insoles. Although a little pricey they were well worth the cost. Will likely buy another pair.

These are the winners! I’ve tried many pairs of orthopedic type house shoes/slippers. Price was no issue. I needed something to be really comfortable for wearing only in the house. And they needed to be slip on. I tried many pairs of vionics and didn’t like any one bit; yuck. I tried haflingers, which I really loved in several ways BUT they didn’t provide the structured support on top and sides for my problem. I have ankylosing spondylitis which also affects my feet. One foot has messed up joints and bone spurs growing on the side and top. I can no longer go barefoot in home ☹️ because having a high arch and walking on tile/hardwood is so painful. In warm months I wear oofoo flip flops which are great. But now in winter I needed warm shoes/slippers that I could wear with socks and throw on quickly. I waited to review. I’ve now been wearing daily for over a month and half. These have a good bottom sole if you want to wear them out to get the mail or whatever. I don’t wear out; I’m keeping them clean to wear inside on carpet too. They have an arch support, but I do wish it was a higher support( I have a high arch). They have 3 different things you can put it, like layers, to your desired thickness. Very customized. And I love how the top flap has Velcro to adjust the snugness around foot. The top is suede/leather with good structure so my foot is supported on the sides. Very cozy on the inside for winter (although I do wear my Darn tough wool socks). So yes, I have found my house shoes and hope they last several years.

They say this slipper is the "gold standard" of trip avoidance safety (what I was looking for), but it's still not 100%. It has no heel; without a good-fitting heel you do not have complete support. The goodies they include to help customize the fit to your foot are pretty helpful. And at the same time, adding the arch adjustment raises your foot a tiny bit higher which, again, moves your foot a little higher at the heel. So, seems like a trade off to me. So, ultimately, I was disappointed -- I don't think there is an actual SLIPPER that gives good foot support. I'm a senior and I have to carry my laundry up and down stairs, so I didn't get much help on that front. I'm now sensing that only appropriate and snug fitting shoes will do that.

I have searched and searched for slippers with good support, that slip on and off, are of good quality, and can be worn indoors or outdoors. These are exactly that! I love them.

They seem to run big. I bought my usual size of 7 1/2 w and had to exchange them for 7 Wide. Extremely comfortable.

I have used the slippers for roughly 3 months I believe, and have noticed that the support in the footing or the sole of the shoe is lacking after some time and the width of the shoe has widened. I have plantar fasciitis and ordered these specifically to support my feet when I’m at home. Initially they were perfect; however, overtime they have lost their structure and the support is not as sufficient. Initially my feet were comforted warm and supported, but now I’m finding that my feet hurt after wearing them for a period of time because of the lack of support because the shoe was worn. The warmth of the shoe is perfect ideal for the winter months. They endured the winter time and were cozy however, I am at the point where I’m having to get rid of them and find another type of slipper that is more supportive.

These are the best slippers I've ever had! They are supportive and comfortable. After having a stroke, my walking is a little unbalanced, these make me more steady, and less worried about falling. So glad I got them!

They are pretty comfortable, I have an Achilles heel issue and the have not aggravated the Achilles at all.
