Can be added to home assistant without the Aqara hub. Also if attaching to IKEA track you'll need a way to connect them similar to attached photo. I used zipties that have the hook loop for a screw.

Does not pair easily. Took me 3 tries across 3 days. Also does not support rods. Only tracks - whatever that means. Need extra part called hanger that is NOT sold separately. Will email support but will likely have to return. What a waste of time and money. If you have RODS must buy ROD version.

I bought this unit to replace my Switchbot, which I had problems with because my curtains are relatively heavy. Unfortunately, although the description makes it seem like you can use it on rod or track curtains, it depends on which version you buy, and the rod version doesn't seem to be available yet (I wish they would just send both adapters like Switchbot does). The unit does look hefty and I hope to try it out whenever they get the rod version out.

The device itself is pretty nice. Feels solid and a bit more powerful than the SwitchBot equivalent. Works well on my I rail. But… the item I received is definitely used/opened/returned. It has some marks on, the bags are a bit torn, and you can tell it was somewhat assembled even though I paid for a new item. I would buy this again, but not from this seller.
