Frustrating product: significant time spent, and still doesn't work
We bought two of these one year apart for outdoor Halloween motion-activated sound effects. I didn't set up the first one last year, but it's very similar to the one purchased this year and we had planned to use each in a different area. To cut to the chase, we can't get either to work. We started with files from a Mac, but I read to in one of the reviews (thanks) to try from a PC, but also didn't work. The red light starts blinking before pressing any button, there's no file transfer after multiple times on each one, and the light never stops blinking. I sent an email to Customer Service, but no response.

Great item for a haunt, a few small suggestions
I’ve been eyeing these for a while and picked one up on Prime day. It works really well! Exactly what I need for my haunt! The PIR is good for more than 15 feet and it super easy to load sounds onto a memory card and pop it into the unit. The sounds is very clear especially for only one speaker. Very little distortion at the highest volume. You can set it to repeat one or all tracks indefinitely. Perfect for a haunt scare sound or ambient background soundtrack. I will DEFINITELY be buying a few more. A few drawbacks: I would have liked more volume control options. It’s either super loud, which is fine, or so low you can’t hear it. I also would’ve liked an on/off button, switch or some other way to power it up other than plugging it in. The instructions leave a lot to be desired as well. Very sparse directions leave you to figure it out yourself. The unit itself Is a bit on the thick side. In my opinion the positives outweigh the negatives. Great product!!

Motion Detector
I used mine for Halloween. It seems to work well for what I hoped to accomplish. It’s pretty darn loud as well. I’m glad I purchased it.
