This is the best electric toothbrush I’ve ever had. I have been using Braun for many years but this is far superior in every way. Since using this my gums are no longer sore and it is removing the stains on my teeth which was noticeable from the first time I used it. It is very comfortable to hold and is so easy to use. Charging is fast unlike my previous Braun. The design is brilliant and I love the colour. It fits nicely in my hands and it’s nice and slim. Whether it’s good value for money only time will tell but so far I’m really impressed with its performance. The only downside is the cost of replacement brush heads but compared with the cost of having your teeth cleaned and whitened it’s a small price to pay.

An unbelievable toothbrush this has really really surprised me I was reluctant to spend more thank £50 on a toothbrush but I would but this if it was 10x the price I cannot explain the difference I have seen whiter, cleaner and so so so much more confident in cleaning how they should be I have also realised I was pressing way to HARD! The pressure sensor has been a life saver. I would recommend to everyone

It’s been 2 years since purchase and the trouble this has given me over the past few months is unbearable. 10/10 for teeth cleaning but the overall design of the brush is flawed. The on/off button is not protected so any water or toothpaste that goes in there will get stuck and after a while the brush will start switching on by itself… This is a nightmare considering how strong the vibration are, it can be heard throughout the house. My wife thought it was someone drilling next door but no it’s the bloody toothbrush. The only way to stop it from switching on by itself is leaving it in the charger. I would not recommend this toothbrush or any other Philips brush, due to the power buttons being exposed. My Oral-b brush is already on its way, my wife still has the same oral-b brush from when I first met her… here I am replacing the Philips brush after 2 years. Do not buy If you’re on the fence go for oral-b

I just bought this Philips Sonicare toothbrush, even if I have 2 other Oral B electric toothbrushes. This sonic toothbrush is great.. wonderful! I don’t know if it is genuinely very good when compared to other current sonic toothbrushes, but compared to my older Oral B electric toothbrushes is great, a real game changer! I was thinking to return it after delivery, but after trying it I decided that I will definitely keep it and use it every day! The sonic toothbrushes are the way to go! Very happy with my purchase…!

First handle that arrived was awful. The pressure sensor didn't work at all and it's operation was very loud to the point it was basically unusable. I put a different head on it, and this helped initially - but the second you pressed against your teeth to brush at all it was incredibly noisy again. Like a rattly vibration inside the handle. I ordered a new one and returned the broken one, and the new one is working 95% perfectly. There's still a loud vibration sound but only when i apply pressure a certain way (although still not going beyond it's 'recommended pressure') but it's forgivable. I expected a little better quality from these to be honest, considering the RRP of the item. However - I will say that coming from a different Oral-b electric brush to this one its certainly much better. More so than I expected. And at a steep discount it's fairly worth it. The app works great, but it's not something I plan on using much going forward - I just tested it out. Battery life is great so far. Would be 5-stars if the consistency and very likely the longevity of these handles & brush heads wasn't seemingly as bad. I fully expect based on my initial experience and other customer reviews here and elsewhere on the web that I'll have to get this handle replaced/fixed atleast once within the warranty period but only time will tell.

This is my second Philips electric toothbrush, with my first being a 5000 series that had to be repaired twice. This toothbrush is like night and day better than my old one - quieter, with different modes that I want to use. This toothbrush feels like it is working and I am enjoying how clean my teeth feel. The toothbrush feels solid, looks good, and feels good in the hand. The only weak point is that the travel case is cheap and nasty and does not have any charging capability.

Suggested by my hygienist so I purchased one. I had a standard electric toothbrush before. It essentially vibrates incredibly fast as you clean your teeth. There are various programs on the toothbrush that gives different cleaning options over different time periods. Am I pleased with it - very difficult to judge how effective it is but I believe my teeth are cleaner - they feel ‘shinier’ for want of a better description. Would I recommend one - yes- whether my teeth are 1% better or 20% better anything that improves them is worth while and it’ll undoubtedly save on treatment costs.

After just three months of use, it began to rattle. On top of that, the battery indicator doesn’t only blink for the first two days after a full charge. Then it blinks white most of the time, which is pretty annoying. When it’s time to recharge, it blinks yellow. Poor quality and bad design - wouldn’t recommend.
