Are you looking for a superb quality and nice looking steel toe work boot? If so, Golden Fox Steel Toe Men's Lightweight Work Boots may be for you. I have grown tired of wasting my hard earned money on inexpensive boots purchased at department stores and the local discount sporting goods. I have found that you typically get what you pay for. Not all boots are created equal, and they vary widely in durability and comfort. These boots however, appear to have everything one is looking for at an attractive price. I must say that when I ordered these boots, I had not heard of the Golden Fox brand. I was hesitant about buying a pair of boots online, since I was unable to see and feel the quality. Nevertheless, when I received my order and opened the box, my fears subsided. I was elated to see a truly fine looking pair of steel toe work boots. The boots exceeded my initial expectations and was representative of the product description. They fit well, are extremely comfortable and look great. I purchased these in the color Brun. Thoughtfully packaged, these genuine leather boots display some fine craftsmanship depicted by the quality stitching and materials used. This model has a steel toe for trades and industrial work requiring the added protection. That said, they are lightweight in feel, with a comfortable padded tongue and flexible construction. I'm looking forward to wearing my new boots often, both at work and around town. They look fantastic and importantly, feel great.

Feeling compelled to write a review for these boots because they are a REALLY good purchase and value. I bought them mostly for looks and because of the steel toe. I work in the office but periodically on the manufacturing floor which allows me to purchase 1 pair of steel toe boots annually on the company dime. The allowance is $120 but I opted for these because of the looks, I was a little skeptical that they would be cheaply made and uncomfortable, boy was I wrong. Very nice quality of materials on these boots, a little stiff at first but that's to be expected with genuine leather. I am surprised at how comfortable they are and I've been getting compliments in the office all week. Did I mention the price? These are well below a red wing or similar premium branded boot, but I don't think I could get a better boot. Two thumbs up for an awesome American made product. Will be purchasing again next year. Btw, they do run half a size larger than most other shoes.

Very comfortable. Definitely will have a break in period. Pleased with appearance. Seems to be well made. Very attractive price point which led me to this boot. Had one minor problem that I resolved myself with a fold of leather at the base of the tongue. If you have a high instep as I do it will rub, but the remedy was easy enough.

For the money these boots are awesome. I work outside so I’m on the job site all day long. Took a few days to loosen up and the insoles are thin but I got memory foam insoles and these boots have formed to my feet! I live where it rains a lot so the only downfall is they aren’t 100% waterproof but they are super comfy. I always buy keens that are 150$+ so it was hard for me to try something new but I’m so glad I did because I love these boots. They are quality leather,I put them up next to my buddy’s Thorogood boots (180$)and these even seem to be better made! Overall solid boot and will be buying more. Just wish they made a pair with a gore Tex liner because I don’t like having to grease them every week

Pros: Lightweight Durable leather Good looking boots Comfortable when you first put the boots on (however, after 4 hours or so the things that are slightly uncomfortable tend to wear your feet down) Cons: Toe box tapers to a point more like a dress shoe than average rounded toe work boots I’ve had. This makes the toe box feel tighter and rubs on the outside of my big toes. The tongue is all one piece of leather and doesn’t have elastic bands on the sides to stretch and form with the top of your foot. For me, this caused parts where the laces meets the tongue to awkwardly rub against the top of my foot causing pain.

My boots came really quickly, granted I live in CA and that's where the boots ship from. Many people in the reviews advised getting a half size to full size smaller than what you might normally wear. I usually wear anything from a 10 1/2 to size 11. I ordered a size 11 hoping they'd be a bit bigger. I have a pretty sizable bunion on my right foot as well as a pinky toe that sticks up on the same foot. This always complicates buying shoes without being able to try them on first. Given the extra room in the boot, my toes are as comfortable as I could hope for boots. I have only just tried them on and not worn them for a full day but the test drive has left me satisfied. Tying the laces extra tight seems to make up for the extra space that exists. I won't be doing intense labor in these and only need them for stocking and driving a forklift. I don't foresee any issues given the light duty I'll be using these for but will update this should anything change. Hope this review helps anyone with similar foot ailments as myself.

Never have I felt any pressure on my toes, thanks to the support provided. Leaving room for you to work without any fear of damage being brought on to your feet. The one downside about these boots are the fact that its genuine leather. Keeping them clean may seem near impossible. However, simply buying some leather cleaner, you can restore these boots to return it to their former glory. I’ve had numerous name brand boots and Golden fox is better than anything I’ve experienced. No other name brand delivers in the way that Golden fox does with these flawless working boots. Overall these boots are reliable and worth the investment, leaving you feeling satisfied and content with your purchase.
