SVBONY SV28 25-75 x 70 spotting scope
This Spotting Scope is smaller and lighter, but focuses at much shorter distances because there's not so much "optical demand" with the 70mm objective lens. It runs easily through the 25x to 75x with crisp, sharp images. I like this one very much for it's ability to focus on close objects for amazing textures. The SV28 is a great bargain for the price, with the small range tripod (for the prone position, or use on a table) the phone holder for photos, and the soft case with a decent, adjustable strap. The front lens cap fits better than the one over the eyepiece, but they're both a little loose so you need fix that or be careful so you don't lose them. If you don't keep the lenses covered when the scope is not in use they'll get dusty. Many people ruin their optics when trying to clean them, (it's very hard to do properly) so the best solution is to NEVER touch the glass and ALWAYS use the caps to protect those delicate lenses!

Great Distance 👍
So I appreciate everyone who posted pictures and did distance comparisons for me to buy this. So I decided to post my own as well. Please keep in mind that the day photos were taken when a forest fire had blown smoke into the area. The scope is very clear yet might be noticeable in the picture because of the surrounding smoke. First off I'll have to admit its a good spotting scope. BUT the 1st one I got had issues. Had a strong plastics chemical smell as others commented. The bag it came with, the scope and tripod all had this. Airing it out for 3 days didn't take care of it and I'm sensitive to smells. 2ed the cover for the big len always kept falling off. 3rd I saw what looked like glue gun gel poking out from the middle. 4th was not tightened at the middle and could be twisted on or off. So I contacted the seller. Who told me that for the smell I could either exchange it or air it out and they'll reimburse me an amount. Yet after I sent them pictures of the other issues they admitted it was likely defective and I exchanged it instead with Amazon not the seller. Honestly that fixed every thing. I recommend people who have such issues to just exchange it I know many posted that the phone holder doesn't work but honestly it works if your persistent with it. The moon pictures posted were taken using both the tripod and the mobile holder but was hard to angel it out correctly. I now find it faster to just use the tripod and my hands in holding my mobile device for pictures than the phone holder. I don't have experience with other mobile holders so can't say that another would be easier, faster or better. I have a professional large tripod and this little one does it's job for a quick pull out latch on and use. I know others commented negative about the metal quality yet does what is needed so can't complain. One issue that I've seen in both products (the returned and kept product) is the bag's separator is not able to latch on to the inside of the bag. So with both the tripod and mobile holder inside I often wondered if the separator would allow one to fall through and rub against the scope if not careful. The bag is thin. I have a similar bag type for my large tripod. Yet I feel I have to be careful as I carry or place down the bag with the scope in it. Wish there was better protection for the scope. Nevertheless that would likely mean it would be more expensive. The price is right. The scope has great distance. Seems to be more powerful than other expensive scopes I've seen but not purchased. So its a savings in price. 😁 Honestly for how close I get to see the moon it really does look as good as a good sized telescope I once had. Add on camera zoom you can see it even better detail. Looks better in the scope than I feel the pictures were able to get.

Excellent product for the price.
This exceeds expectations for an amateur. Decent build quality, and very good visibility at low zoom. quality suffers a bit a max zoom. I imagine more expensive scopes have better optics and finer focus. But, for scenery and wildlife, it is perfectly fine. My family likes the scope: I'd consider buying a higher end model of this brand when the time comes. Instructions - especially for the phone adapter - could be improved.

Clear Optics and Great Value
This spotting scope exceeded my expectations for the price. The optics are bright and sharp, and it’s perfect for birdwatching, target shooting, and casual stargazing. 🔹 Optical Performance The 70mm objective lens and 25–75x zoom provide crisp, detailed views (page 3 – product description: “SV28 Beginners spotting scope with FMC objective lens”). The BAK4 prism and FMC coating enhance clarity and brightness, making it easy to spot distant targets clearly (page 4 – comparison of Bak4 vs other prisms). 🔹 Practical Design The angled eyepiece and smooth focus wheel make it comfortable and easy to use, even for long sessions (page 3 – “Smooth Focus Wheel / Easy to Operate” diagram). The included tripod and phone adapter add great value, letting you stabilize your view and capture photos (page 1 – product listing features tripod + adapter). ✅ Pros: Bright, clear optics with 25–75x magnification Large 70mm lens gathers plenty of light Angled design with smooth focus wheel Comes with tripod and phone adapter Great value for beginners or casual users ❌ Cons: Included tripod is a bit lightweight; sturdier one recommended for long sessions Overall: An affordable spotting scope with excellent optical quality for the price. Ideal for beginners or hobbyists looking for a versatile scope for nature, range, or sky viewing.

Works will, but get a heavy duty tripod
Purchased for range shooting. It is a beast and reaches out a long way! Only downside is it needs a better tripod of there is any amount of wind. Highly recommend buying the electronic eyepiece so you can pair with your phone to view and snap photos or videos.

Great for price but…
Well, this was my first spotting scope. Probably my last. Too hard to get/find stable image in viewfinder. Better have a bench! Build quality seems pretty decent, small lens cap won’t stay on in storage.

I KNOW ITS NOT A $500-$1000 SPOTTING SCOPE BUT!!!!
I gave this 5 stars for what it is. For the $ its worth it for 100-200yrd spotting scope at the range. It is what I wanted. Something cheap and decent. This is actually a lot better than I expected. I could barley tell the difference atv100yrds compared to my Zeiss. But my Zeiss is for 1000yd+. I wanted something smaller and cheap due to the newbies at the range who walks by and knocks it over. Great value for exactly what I purchased a good cheap spotting scope. The eye relief is the only minor negative I can put on this since Ive used 2x now. You start to lose at longer range. At 200yds it dies down like your looking through a dime and the rest off a $1/2 dollar I'd blacked out

Great Spotting Scope for under a Hundred Dollars
This Svbony scope has the right weight for me for outdoors exploring, viewing wildlife, and still see what you want to see. The focus knob is a bit too ridged for me. If a scope focus knob is not easily adjusted you play havoc on your line of sight of the scope. The subject scope met my go no go of viewing the fine bar code lines on a can at 70 feet. Can see a tie loop on a transmission tower line at about 700 yards which is another go no go test for me. Not sure if it sees a deer horn poking above a bush when the deer is lying down at 700 yards, but my tower test seems to indicate the scope can see a horn above a bush at 700 yards? If you can place the situation in the scope view? I do not recommend this scope if you want to wear glasses when using it. One can perform viewing with glasses but not optimal. Few scopes seem to meet the criteria of viewing well with glasses worn it does seem. Objective cap cover is OK but could be a more secure fit. Had no problem with clear views in all magnifications other than close up target viewing. Tried the digiscoping adaptor for my phone. After fooling with adapting my phone to the scope eyepiece for several minutes I dropped my phone on the ground. I gave up at that point. My impression is the adaptor is for phones with the entrance pupil to the phone camera in the center of the phone and of course mine is on the side of my phone. The tripod worked for me when placing scope on a stable table environment and no wind. I like the scope, it works well. Give it a solid 4. Have not really evaluated the carrying bag to any extent. The scope has a manual included, but poorly done in my opinion. But few products include decent manuals period these days. And seems a flaw in the industry, but model numbers are not placed and noted on the scope itself.

Telescopio

Excellent
I love it (for the price). Nice clarity, even watching the moon up to 75x.

Large 100mm objective, so very bright.
I bought the 100 mm. version, because I already had a 65mm, which is not very bright. The 100mm has 2.37 times the light gathering so has more than twice the brightness. The scope works very well with smooth focusing. The only downside is the included stand, which is rather flimsy, so I would recommend a more sturdy mount for stable viewing, especially out in the field. Otherwise a very good scope, which I highly recommend.

Crisp Optics, Great Build – Unbeatable Value for Money!
I bought this compact spotting scope for my mountain trips and couldn't be happier with the purchase. The scope is highly portable, fits perfectly in the included padded carrying bag, and is light enough to take along without adding much bulk. What I Loved - 1. Image Clarity: Insanely clear optics, especially for the price. It’s genuinely surprising how crisp the view is even at higher zoom levels. 2. Ease of Use: The controls and setup are very intuitive. Even as a beginner, I had no trouble getting started. 3. Accessories: The phone adapter is sturdy and holds the phone firmly. The tripod is legit - strong, steady, and well-balanced. I was a bit skeptical about the vertical panning handle holding the combined weight of the scope and phone, but it handled it well with zero strain. A Small Gripe - The front lens cap fits a little loosely. It doesn’t snap on very securely and might fall off in a bumpy bag or rough handling. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. P.S.: In the pics/videos attached, the zoom level was at 25x (it goes all the way up to 75x). Let me be clear, the smartphone camera does not do justice to the real clarity you get when viewing directly through the eyepiece. It looks way better in person!
