This is a great item to have for outdoor camping and cooking. It is light in weight, compact in size, easy to carry, and quick to assemble and disassemble. We have used it several times to cook with wood sticks so that we don't need to carry fuel to the camping site. Plus, it is environmentally friendly to use natural biomass. The wood stick is very easy to ignite in this stove. As the stove is very nicely designed, air is sucked into the inner space from the bottom and circulates to provide oxygen. The fire comes out from the top and aggregates in the pot. It is very fast to boil water and cook food. The stove has a wide opening to feed wood sticks. The stand can be folded or unfolded to provide a steady stand for different sizes of pots. We love using the stove windscreen to block wild winds. Overall, this is a great invention and a quality product. Our family can't image camping without this stove. We will be sure to use it for all our future camping trips.

I like it. It is compact and you can fit some fire starting materials into the carrying case, it is easy to setup, there is no smoke when the coals are going, and it is stable. It is not smokeless when the fire is starting, especially when the impurities and stem is being burned off, but for the money, it is fantastic. Would buy again!

Pretty much everything the other reviewers are saying about this stove is accurate. It works well, is fun to use, and is reasonably sturdy for the ridiculously low price it's selling for...but be aware that whatever cookware you use with it (and anything that touches said cookware until it is washed—hands, clothing, etc.) will be completely covered in soot from the flame despite the comparatively clean secondary combustion process. I tried this out on a recent car camping trip and really enjoyed it. To be effective it needs to be tended almost constantly, but when it's being fed it puts out a lot of heat and there's something pleasantly meditative about collecting the twigs and feeding them into the fire. I bought a folding windscreen to use with it and it did seem to help with the heating efficiency, and also had the added benefit of turning it into a personal space heater for those cold mornings. The construction quality is adequate but not great...but expecting anything more at this price point would be delusional. Due to its relatively substantial weight I will probably never bring it on a serious backpacking trip (this weighs as much as my backpacking stove plus a couple large containers of isopro fuel), but I'm very happy with the purchase and will definitely be bringing it on future car camping and canoeing trips, and maybe even overnight backpacking trips if I'm not packing too light.

My concern when getting this was, is it going to be a real gasifier (uses the "smoke" and outgasing that comes from burning wood as a fuel to create more heat and burn more efficiently) type of stove or is it just a can with some holes. We used it just to have a small wood fire to roast marshmellows and the like. Filled it with small and large pieces of wood and it burned it all away to very little ash, was really surprised at how little ash or bits remains, there's practically nothing. Packs down nicely and seems solid. Was thinking of going all out for a solo stove but this does what I would want the solo stove for, a small wood gasifier stove that leaves very little ash. I didn't use the pot stand but it seems like a perfectly good one, the legs are solidly attached and move freely and have teeth for what I'm sure is a good grip.

Awesome little stove! When I tested it I used 4 handfuls of twigs..about 10 to 15 twigs per handful and a combination of about half pencil lead thickness and about twice the thickness of a pencil. I had a control fire outside of the little stove with the same amount of wood just burning in a little teepee configuration. I started both fires with a propane torch and fed them with more wood at the same rate. My control fire burnt out in about 8 minutes and of course gave off a lot of smoke. The fire in the stove easily burnt for twice as long and up to 25 minutes if you include the huge amount of contained heat from the coals. Easily enough time to boil a litre of water. If you keep your wood under the air vents at the top of the stove you can actually see the smoke being sucked back down as wood gas and burned a second time and at some point I heard the stove pushing the gasses out. It creates far less smoke and burned much more efficiently and left no unburnt wood at all. Everything was turned into fine ash instead of some charred pieces in the control fire. Very very impressed with this little stove!

I tried it out in the backyard with twigs and sticks - it burns hot, focused, sustained heat with little smoke. I found that using a straw (metal) was helpful later on to keep the flame. I used a fairly heavy kitchen pot 1/2 filled with water since I did not have a light-weight camping pot, but it was able to balance the weight and boil the water under five minutes with a lid. I was able to add more sticks even with the pot on top via the small opening. It does piece together tightly but it is able to pack away back into the little bag. It is small, and I've been thinking of buying a larger rocket pipe stove, mainly because of the positive experience with this small version. Good product - 加油中国！

Ottimo prodotto nelle finiture e materiali. Per quanto possa sembrare banale c'è un'enorme differenza tra accendere un focherello e metterci sopra una pentola, e questo splendido strumento dove l'accensione è rapidissima e semplice e l'utilizzo rimane confortevole. Molto gradita la sacchetta per riporre il tutto che sapientemente riposto occupa molto poco spaio. Istruzioni chiare e semplici, si utilizza davvero semplicemente. Utilizzata in escursioni in alta quota mi ha dato la possibilità di creare un piatto caldo in pochi minuti. Consigliato anche per un bel campeggio spartano senza bisogno di fornelli a gas. Anche per escursionista che non vuole portarsi peso è perfetta.

Nice stove which packs well into its largest piece. Contained in a drawcord bag. Easily set up once you have read the help guide which also shows how to repack.Stainless steel so should keep clean. Quite light considering number of cylinders in its construction.

Ce que j'ai d'abord apprécié c'est qu'il est compact une fois rangé dans sa housse (en maille de mousse, bien protectrice), et que je peux même y mettre mon réchaud à alcool Evernew en son centre (parce qu'on n’a pas toujours le temps ni le droit de faire du feu, mais le réchaud bois peut alors être utilisé comme support pour le pot, et sa petite coupelle comme protection de l'alcool). Le réchaud alcool tombe alors pile-poil au bon niveau. Dans la configuration réchaud à bois, plusieurs points à considérer: - mettre une assiette inox sous le réchaud si le terrain est plein de racines/herbes sèches (des braises qui tombent parfois à travers la grille du fond peuvent provoquer un feu à retard) - Mettre du bois très sec (sinon on fini par avoir comme une sorte de vrai charbon qui se forme, ça brûle mal) max 10cm et recoupé dans la longueur, mais pas en trop grande quantité sinon ça s'étouffe; et recharger très régulièrement parce que ça brûle très bien (on passe son temps à ça en fait, donc prévoir un bon petit tas de bois à l'avance). En fait ce sont les gaz du bois qui remontent dans la double paroi et qui s'enflamment vraiment comme un brûleur de gazinière, très impressionnant et puissant (voir photos) - Au bout d'une trentaine de minutes les cendres bouchent la grille du fond d'où arrive l'air et ça a du mal à continuer à brûler, ce n'est donc pas un réchaud pour veiller/se chauffer sur la durée, mais ça bout bien plus vide qu'un réchaud alcool/gaz et on peut cuisiner plus longtemps (on l'a utilisé pendant 30 minutes pour bouillir 1.5l + faire sauter + bouillir à nouveau + chamallow :-). - Prévoir de l'emballer dans une poche plastique avant de le mettre dans sa housse, parce que ça noircit tout sinon évidemment... Personnellement je pense que c'est un bon système à partir de 2 personnes, parce que sinon c'est lourd quand même pour 1 seule personne, je préfère amener mon réchaud alcool et une bouteille d'alcool (même poids, mais plus versatile en cas de feu interdit, bois humide, vent, pluie (pas possible ici de faire la cuisine à l’abri d'une tente). On n’est pas dans la rando légère quoi, mais du bivouac sympa. J'ai aussi du même vendeur un pare-vent très haut en alu qui fait le taf pour ce réchaud, mais rajoute du poids et peut s'endommager s'il se plie dans le sac à dos; néanmoins pour le prix total je conseillerai ce pack.

This little stove is surprisingly well made! It packs up pretty small and is light weight, perfect for packpacking when gas is not allowed or just as a second backup stove. It even comes with a carry pouch! The design is good, it hold up well and is stable. The little space to add more wood is a welcome addition so you don't have to remove the pan every time. And the fire is concentrated in the middle so it is very efficient. The only downside I can think of is that it rattles if you attach it on the outside of your backpack since the pieces are loose in the pouch, but that's fine.
