As someone who has tried many many pens from Very high end to very low end these are absolutely amazing for the cost. You get 9 pens of several sizes (that’s a little over a $1 per pen!) and they are super pigmented, dark, vibrant, etc. Everything I really love about micro-liners. I feel like these are something I would have loved to have had when I was just starting out with my art in school. It comes in a cute convenient pouch to carry them in and are very light weight so they don’t cause my hand to cramp while using them. This would be the perfect gift for the artist in your life, and i also recommend grabbing the marker pad they have to go with them. I love, love, love this little set of fine point drawing pens. They have become my go to for so many things. The barrels are slender and the array of various sized points, chisel points and even a tiny brush point are clearly marked and easy to see. This makes fine drawing and lettering possible without hand strain. The point sizes make them perfect for application to all sizes of available space, like a tiny space on a label. I purchased them for watercolor detailing, but use them all over the house, so I need more! If you want to use them around something wet, like a watercolor detail, apply them to a dry area and then wait for them to dry. Test for dryness before adding wet media to avoid smudging. Did I mention the great price? These would also make a thoughtful gift.

I'd overall give these pens a 3.5/5, but I added an extra half because a) amazon doesn't let you do half ratings, and b), I actually got these pens for free as they took over a month to arrive due to COVID, so I can't complain there. I was initially looking for a cheaper alternative to the Sakura Micron pens and saw that this Bianyo pack had a brush pen, so I was eager to try them out. I use these for Bible journaling and planned to use them for lettering. While I am no professional letterer, I found that the brush pen appeared frayed / split, which made it difficult for me to get smooth letters. As you can see from the example pic, there is a bit of a 3D effect when lettering with the brush pen as the brush hairs are split. Other than that, the pens themselves work fine. I was a bit confused about the measurements; some of them seem to be the same size. The 0.8 mm pen is thicker than my 1.0 mm Pilot G-2 rollerball pen. Either I'm measuring something wrong or one of the companies is stretching the truth with their measurements, but something's not adding up. Nonetheless, they work fine and write nicely, and they don't bleed through my Bible pages! Thanks Bianyo :)

These fineliners are incredible. I’ve owned several sets over the years from Micron to Copic and these are my favorites by far. I love the variety of thicknesses and nibs you get. I have a pen for whatever I could need. The ink flows well and seems quality. I also love that they come with a little storage bag. You absolutely cannot beat the price of these.

*Edit---- These markers haven't smeared since. I think they were smearing because they were fresh out of the mailbox and the ink was warm. Later on that day they haven't smeared. Except for the Brush pen. It releases a lot of ink and its expected that it needs to dry. So once these run out - I will definitely be re-ordering. ****** Previous ******* I love the various sizes. They write/draw smoothly. No skipping, no bleeding. But there is a little smearing. I was going to return them. Right after these were delivered the Sakura Pigma pens came in. They both have the same amount of smear. I use them for drawing. I'll just have to wait a few seconds for the ink to dry. So, they are the same quality as the Sakura Pigma pens...so this is a great price for this set. Worth it.
