Copper Moon Light Roast Whole Bean Coffee, Guatemalan Blend, 5 Lb

I was impressed with Copper Moon's light roast, especially considering the low price per pound. It was good brewed in my AeroPress, but even better in a traditional French press. It also mixes well, when I am in the mood for half-caff, with a dark roast decaf.The simple flavor suggests to me that this is done by people who know how to roast a cheaply-sourced blend of beans quite well.While I wouldn't have minded more information on the bean sourcing, Copper Moon so far has demonstrated they can do a good light roast at an excellent price.

This coffee has a wonderful flavor. No need to add anything to it. We like the light roast as it seems like anything else has been roasted to death and makes the coffee bitter. If you are looking for a reasonably priced coffee with authentic flavor, this is it.

I ordered a light roast Guatemalan bean but the roast was medium to dark with just an occasional lighter bean in it, so I was disappointed. The good news is it made a decent cup of coffee - just not what I was expecting, and now I have 5 lbs of it. I'll survive but if you're a light bean drinker, beware.

This has to be my favorite of all time whole bean coffee. I get the 5lb bag for it last me 3-4months with daily use and around 3 cups a day using the Keurig method of 8oz.The aroma- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Taste- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Quality- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Price- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Previously I use to work for Starbucks, so amongst my time there and back when they had the coffee master program (earn the black apron) I have become a total coffee snob. I’m extremely picky about my coffee and how it’s prepared. Even the type of coffee and how it’s roasted. This company -Copper Moon- is beyond my expectations of excellent coffee, even if it is just home brewed. This is also my 5 bag I have purchased over the last year of discovering this company. So again I highly recommend anyone to give them a try.**Side note- for Xmas I received some Starbucks 1lb bag coffee and I ended up giving it away to someone who doesn’t have coffee knowledge that I do because I am now a ruined coffee snob and just know what I like. 😂

Can't say this is what I wanted or even expected as it is almost stale in taste, very light in color, and doe not satisfy what a good coffee should do for us. Never buy it again.

The beans came slightly oily, which is a sign of a darker/medium roast. As as medium dark roast it wasnt bad, but the roasty/burnt notes were the primary flavor. Too bitter for me.
