Nice!
I love these cameras so far. I purchased these because I'm living alone with my children now and want a sense of security. These were easy to set up and pair to the hub. Hint: set up the hub 1st then pair the cameras to it. The instructions are simple and easy to follow Mounting was easy even though I'm terrible with tools. Once paired, set up, & mounted you can easily control different functions within the app. The app is easy to understand and navigate & don't forget, FREE! The picture is crystal clear & you don't necessarily need to get the paid subscription for cloud storage. I simply delete unnecessary videos & keep the ones that might be valuable until they're not, which saves a ton of space. I didn't purchase the solar panel charger so every month or so I'll have to recharge until I do. I had to recharge my front porch's camera last night & after doing so it wouldn't sync again to the hub. I tried a few things but nothing worked & eventually all my cameras & the hub went offline. I contacted Noorio (mind you, this is a Saturday afternoon, CDT) through email and they responded within a few minutes. They kept giving me things to try until it worked. They were pleasant and very helpful the entire time and, for me, this is what wins me over because quality customer service is hard to come by these days. I'm back up and running and happy about it. These cameras have caught so much activity on my property that I've been able to resolve issues purely based on the crispness of the videos. I would've bought the doorbell camera but I set up one of the cameras on the porch until I got it. The camera proved better than an extra doorbell camera because it notifies me on my phone whenever someone is approaching, I can have a conversation with them, take a still shot of the person or record the interaction, & turn on the light or alarm through the app. Also when I'm not home I can speak to my kids through them in my God voice when they least expect it! Hehehee... I'll purchase more cameras soon and the solar panels so it'll eliminate the need to recharge. The only reason I haven't bought them is because the panels are so large from viewing pictures in other reviews. I think this takes away from the cameras being inconspicuous although it does take alot of thought & effort out of maintaining the camera system. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I haven't had these cameras long and it's been warm outside. I'm looking forward to how they'll hold up during inclement weather and the winter and will update if there's a change. Go ahead & try them.

Great product!!!
I have had this camera for over a year now and it is absolutely great. Long battery life, great picture and video quality. Very well priced for all that you get. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a home security camera. It works flawlessly.

Good but not without faults
Overall I do like the camera and app but there are a few things that are annoying or could use improvements. The Good- Set up is very easy and straightforward. The app is easy to use and has some cool features such as geofencing and trigger area adjustments. The picture quality is very good both day and night. Battery lasts quite a while (so long as you don't have a lot of activity or sit a watch live stream a lot) The Bad- can some times be inconsistent in picking up motions (sometimes will pick up the smallest thing, other times you're halfway down the driveway, also back to back events can be missed), from when you get the alert that something is detected to when you are able to view the event can be annoyingly long (some times takes a couple minutes, usually going straight to live view is the best way to see things but even so may miss it), seems like the iPhone app may be faster than Android, by far the most annoying thing is when going in to view an event (or even using live view) it often will flag another motion event which sets an alert and makes a recording of generally nothing so then you have to delete a bunch of false recordings.

Final update after a year with this camera...04/11/24
Final update 04/11/24 So this year has brought numerous headaches with this camera. Enough headaches that I have dropped my review to 1 lonely star. I quit counting the number of times this camera has gone offline. In fact it was the fact the camera went offline yet again that reminded me to update my review. I got tired of counting the offline instances. If this camera cannot operate 6 feet away from a panoramic high speed modem then noorio needs to go back to the drawing board and fix the issue. I have cheaper brands that are operating beautifully 150 feet away from my modem and they don't have an external or boosted antenna. You advertise that even if your internet goes down the camera will continue to function. There are two major problems in that area. The camera will function but you can't change any settings or modes on it because you're not on WiFi with it. So if your camera is in an alarm enabled mode the siren will go off constantly with no way to shut it off. This eludes to the second major issue-once this camera goes offline it will not reconnect itself to the network again. When contacting customer support on the issue their method, and the only method that works, is to reset the camera. So not only do you lose whatever recordings you were saving on it you also lose any and all recordings that the camera was capturing during its so called period of working while the Wi-Fi was down. Due to resetting the camera you lose all the settings you had used the app to customize to your needs as well. Also let's touch on firmware updates for a moment. The camera will refuse to install them. Flat out refuse. Then without the updates the camera ceases to function. Customer supports answer to this? You guessed it....reset the camera. But does one resetting work? Not at all. You'll be forced to reset the camera multiple times to try and get it to accept an update. None of the other 4 brands of my cameras have these kinds of issues and they're all half the price of this Noorio. Speaking of customer support... Those guys will drag out the problem rather than warranty your camera out. This tells me they know any replacement they send is going to perform just as poorly as the camera you already have. Another issue with this camera is image quality. Anything outside of 20 feet from the camera is so grainy you won't be able to see someone's face or read a license plate. It's abysmal. Color recording at night only works once the camera's floodlight comes on. The recording begins in black and white and switches to color only once the light comes on. When it switches you get several seconds of nothing but the recording of glare. This loses precious time when someone or something that doesn't belong is on your property. In closing this camera, its issues and a sadly ineffective customer support division turn this item into a heavy ball that at least my dogs will enjoy. It's an awfully expensive dog toy in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and go buy a different brand as this brand is beyond pathetic. Update 11-1-23: So I'm back with an even more honest opinion on this camera and why I've knocked it down to a 3 star review. There have been some pretty serious bumps in the road with this camera. About 2 months ago the camera kept going offline and wouldn't stay synced to my phone or the WiFi. I went through all the troubleshooting steps many, many times. I cover myself very tech savvy. I removed and readded the camera to the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times and so on and so on. So finally I called Noorio. Their customer service is the only reason I didn't make this a 1 star review. Not only did they get me the answer to the problem, they checked back with me numerous times to see if the camera was working as it should. When we were finally able to diagnose the problem I was able to have my security back. Unfortunately the solution to the issues was why I knocked the review down from 5 stars. My apps are set to update automatically. The app was functioning fine. However the camera itself, even though it's a WiFi camera, does not update automatically. The spot to find where to update the cameras firmware is in a very obscure spot in the app. Also in order to 'fix' this I had to lose all the recordings I had saved on the camera. Lesson learned. I now download the ones I want to keep to my phone. That brings to light one of the other issues I've had with the camera. It doesn't like to allow my phone to connect to it. I sit less than 5 feet from my camera on the other side of a window. I constantly get errors asking me to retry connecting again. Over and over and over 😑. I go outside with my phone less than one foot from the camera and get the same message a LOT. It's maddening. Now for my last issue ... The serious lag in notifications from the camera. When I finally do get a notification I can't access what it recorded because it won't let me connect to the camera to watch the video. Grrrrr 😡. My Wi-Fi (I have gig speed Internet.)isn't the problem and neither is my phone or my Amazon tech that I have the camera linked to. It all boils down to issues with the camera. I had planned on adding more of these cameras around the outside of my home. However now I seriously doubt that's going to happen. I read a lot of reviews on a lot of cameras before settling on this camera. After all my gleaning from other people's opinions I knew I wanted a few things for sure... 1. I wanted a camera with local storage. 2. I wanted a camera with a floodlight. 3. I wanted a rechargable camera. 4. I wanted something with good night vision. 5. I wanted a camera with an alarm. This camera ticked all the boxes. It was so easy to install this unit. I charged it, screwed the base to the house, screwed the camera onto the base and 30 seconds later the camera was linked to my wifi and working. I'm really impressed by the unit. The battery lasts for months. Of course the length of time it lasts depends on what settings you use as far as sensitivity, motion and the use of the floodlight. The microphone sensitivity is another bonus as you can see in my video. The only thing I might could complain about this camera is the two way talk feature. It's kinda choppy. But the price point makes up for that. The biggest thing I wanted in a camera was local storage. I don't want to be stuck paying some strangers to survey my world. Uncle Sam taught me well how to defend myself and my property. I just need an alarm to sound to give me and my dogs time to react. This camera does that. It's an outstanding product at a seriously fair price. I plan on adding more of them around my home. You can't go wrong with purchasing this gem.

Good night vision and motion detection
As you can see it works! First the setup was easy, 10 min from box to working. One small caveat, no pun intended, the QR code to scan to set it up (with the free app) is on the device itself. NOT the bar code on the box. It's a very small QR code on the bottom in a very light gray ink so it can be missed if you don't look for it carefully. It came fully charged, but I followed the instructions exactly and charged it 24 hours to be sure it had a full charge. As of now, it still has 87% charge, after getting it Jan 22 (13 days). Thus, I'm not sure it will really have "6 months of battery" like the advertisement claims, but it definitely would last more than a month at this rate. Please note though, that I turn it OFF during the day and only on at night so that might be a factor too. The firmware is up to date so that's what it is. Sorry I can't say more about the battery life, but I don't use it except to get videos like this. The mounting is also as easy as they claim. It truly is purely magnetic, WITHOUT needing a steel mount behind it to mount. They do provide a separate mounting bracket though with its own steel backing to mount it on a nonmagnetic surface. This is not why I bought this device though, there are better ones if you want to spend the time drilling holes to mount an outdoor cam. But for the convenience of this, it can't be matched. See the picture of how I have it now. It's not screwed or glued in any way to that (steel) lawn chair. Just put the mounting base (which is a powerful magnet) near anything steel or iron and pop! Right in place and quite secure. You'll actually want to be careful putting it in place it's such a strong magnet you might pinch a finger as it binds to a steel structure. It's been mounted like this for over a week now to get the closer shots that I wanted as in the video. In that time, there's been below freezing temperatures at night, and wind gusts over 20 MPH, and a few hard rainstorms (yes, it's totally weatherproof too!). So that's real too. The little red light on it lights up when it's recording (it picked me up getting close to take that picture). That's how you know it's on. To be clear, it does NOT record all the time, in a loop in other words. It's motion based. I guess there may be a way to set it up as some kind of streaming cam, but I haven't looked into that. It rotates very easily in the base, but never loses grip so you can point it at virtually any angle, and it will still be secure. By default, the night vision comes on automatically, and full color automatically, depending on the light levels, but I think you can change it (in the app) so that the night vision is always on, or always off. I'm not sure though, as I checked now and it's not clear what the different modes there do. Anyway, it's good enough for me. A few points of clarity for those wondering some other things I was wondering: YES, it has 16 GB of storage space ON the DEVICE. For me it wasn't clear from the advertisement if the storage was somehow cloud based (I didn't understand how they were using the words "local" and "hub", they weren't used correctly in my opinion). But it is indeed local; there is NO need to buy a separate SD card. In fact, there's no way to put an SD card in it; it has no slot for one. Getting the videos off the device is easy enough. You can download them from the device onto your phone via the app (and a wireless connection between the two obviously). Then you can upload it from your phone to a cloud service of your choice and from there download onto any device with access to the same cloud service. Easy peasy. The charge port is also a USB-C connection, so I imagine it would be possible to connect a USB-C cord to the device directly and download them directly to a computer, but I don't know for certain as I haven't tried that. It's easy enough to get the videos as I wrote. You don't have to download them to your phone to view the videos you can stream them from the device to select the ones you want. DEFINTELY recommend. I gave 4 stars for the picture quality because it's not true "2K" quality in my opinion but it's pretty high definition I'd say. You can judge for yourself from the video.

Mixed Results (Don't use near a flag)
I wanted a camera to put on my front porch to basically spy on my neighbors who make constant noise and are a real nuisance. My plan was to have something quick and easy to use with minimal setup, especially in case the camera didn't work out for any reason. It also had to record automatically without me having to watch the app and babysit it. After using this one for a few days, here are my results... PROS: 1. The magnetic base allowed for quick and easy setup. It snapped right to my front door and I aimed it out through the glass window of the screen door. Physical placement took all of 30 seconds. Field of view was perfect. 2. I was able to shut the front door, and the camera nicely fit in between the inner and outer doors with no issue. 3. The phone App was fairly easy to setup and intuitive to use. Pairing the camera with WiFi was quick and painless. 4. The image quality of the video was nice and clear. CONS: 1. Maybe the glass door had an impact, but this camera was not good at detecting motion. Part of the reason was due to the fact that my neighbors have a small flag on a post right in the line of sight, which meant that any gentle flag movement would set off the app to show motion detection. The more it did this, the more it recorded video and wore down the battery. 2. I programmed "zones" in the app to compensate for the flag, but the flag still set it off anyway. The defined zones barely detected any movement from anything aside from the flag. 3. People walking by barely made an impact and only registered as movement a fraction of the time. This meant I had to shut off the zones, put it in "normal" movement detection, and went back to the flag setting it off every few seconds again. 4. There was significant enough of a delay from when people would walk past it that the app would alert me of motion (assuming it detected it in the first place), which meant most clips were filmed after everyone had left the area. 5. The camera is not designed for Live View, but you basically had to sit there monitoring it that way in person since the automatic features of the camera were basically useless. 6. Clips were limited in size, and setting them up to be longer would drain the battery. After 3 days of this kind of use, the battery got down to 85%. 7. WORST CON: On the 3rd day, the app completely stopped working and I could not see any clips recorded or use the live view feature. It was like the camera was completely offline. Sadly, I had to send this back. It had a lot of potential, but it didn't work for my purposes. I hope to find something else in the future.

Great quality and very discreet
I needed a small wireless camera for my backyard and Noorio is fantastic. It was easy to put together, setup an account on their app, and link the camera. It has two different attachments, I chose the static over Magnetic. I did charge the camera to the max since I don't have a solar panel yet, and it's been running for a few days now and the battery is holding up without any drop, even with some events going on, so I think the 180 days should be long until I can recharge. The camera itself is small, so it's very discreet, easy to mount and the picture quality is great, either during the day or the night. I like the app a lot, quick to pull footage, very easy to setup, plenty of options on quality of video or IR. I do come from the physec field working with cameras a lot, so this left me surprised. Super good value for the money, way better than any other cameras out there that they charge for subscriber.
