What is the warranty?

This Chamber Vacuum Sealer has a free one-year warranty.

Can the vacuum be set to run for only 1, 2, 3 or 4 seconds before it begins automatically sealing? I have fragile items which can't be crushed.

No, there is no delay, as soon as you shut the lid it starts, but.... you can control the amount of vacuum, and the amount of time it vaccums. You could experiment on adjustments so it doesnt crush your items. Reccomend freezing items before sealing if worried about smashing. That helps a bit. You might also try a different vaccum sealer that has a "pulse" function. So you can control it more. This vacuum sealer is a heavy duty commercial unit, has a great vacuum and really does a great job sealing the bag down to the items. I really like it.

There is oil along with the Chamber Vacuum Sealer. If you want more, you can check it on Amazon. We don't sell it separately.
