TravelMore TSA Approved Locks for Luggage with Keys, Secure Travel Locks

I bought this specifically because I was looking for a lock that doesn't look like a lock. I was planning to travel in an area with crowds and pickpockets. For convenience I wanted to carry a backpack, but due to risk, I chose to use my Pacsafe camera backpack (which has steel mesh in the fabric and steel cables in the straps, for security). I wanted a little extra security (with my wallet, passport, computer, etc. behind me, surrounded by crowds), so I wanted to lock the zippers shut, but I didn't want the locks to look like locks (because some who is carrying a backpack with locks on the zippers is someone who is carrying something very valuable). These locks fit the bill perfectly! They're inconspicuous, they'll fit in small lock holes, and they can be used to lock zippers that weren't designed to be locked. They're TSA compliant, which is good and bad (apparently anyone can get the keys to TSA compliant locks). I think they're sturdy enough - I used one yesterday when I unexpectedly had to check my carry on. I will have to wait and see how they stand up over time. At the end of the day, any determined thief will get past this and every other luggage lock in a heart beat. One thing that surprised me is that these are heavy: each lock weighs 42.9 g. So far, I have found these to be the perfect backpack lock, and they have worked fine for me as luggage locks, too.

The locks didn't work for my purpose but not because of anything wrong with the locks themselves. I like them and will use them for another purpose. The problem I had was my own misunderstanding or poor ability to measure. The hole that I wanted them to pass through is 1/8 of an inch in diameter. I read that the cables on the locks are also 1/8 in diameter. I reasoned that, because of the plastic coating that they would give enough to fit through the hole. However, I did not take into account that the metal end piece that is kind of ball-shaped would be exactly 1 hair (or a millimeter or whatever) bigger in diameter. So, of course, they did not fit the hole. Because the problem was due to my own lack of complete research, I cannot blame your company for the error. So I would never ask for a refund under the circumstances. As for the locks, here's what I like: I Like the AA battery shape and the weight along with the ease of use as compared with conventional padlocks that I sometimes have to fiddle with to get locked or unlocked. The battery shape is easy to hold for arthritic fingers and the fact that there are two pieces make it an easy two handed job to click them. Us old people with poor eyesight appreciate that. Regular luggage locks are ridiculously easy to pick with a paper clip. I know because even I can do it. I intuit that these are a little more difficult, though I don't know for sure. The company contacted me to ask about my experience with these locks. I said I would leave a full review. They offered to replace or refund if they were not satisfactory. For the above reasons I didn't ask for either. So this is my own opinnion and not cause I got something free.

I liked these because of the size and ease of unlocking them. I instantaneously lost one, but the other one is still hanging around. Orange is great and makes it easy to see on the conveyer belt at the airport.

Works great while traveling. Durability, sturdiness, adjustable. Material is easy to wipe down. Easy to lock & unlock.

I like them they are practical and can be used with zippers easily. Solid and sturdy.

These are great I needed something small to add to my suitcase that I international travel with and I’ve been able to use it on two international travels and it worked out just fine. Just the right size. Nothing bulky won’t get caught on the belts of the luggage tracks when you go to pick up your suitcase.

These are well built and solid locks. They are not high security, but they are well constructed for what they are. The outer lock body will take the standard punishment of being attached to an outside zipper. I have several locks with the same TSA keyway and these locks accept the TSA key better than any others that I have. The cable can be easily cut, but then again so can my luggage. Besides anyone with a TSA key can get it open. My only concern is cable completely separates from the lock, and I fear I may lose the cable at some point. The key cannot be removed from the unlocked position so that will help me remember to keep the cable with the lock body. In any case at this price point I won’t be upset if I lose one.

Nice, heavy little locks. Cable is thin enough to fit holes for trailer linchpins, securely locks. All 4 locks are opened by the same key. Good purchase
