Baronet Coffee 8 Gram Coffee Pods, 100% Colombian, 54 Pods

Delicious - just what I was looking for!

This (100% Columbian - Medium roast) coffee is rich and full-bodied and costs about the same as the Senseo branded coffee. It tastes way better. I'm a coffee snob, so it's relatively safe to trust my opinion here. Don't hesitate, try it.

Great coffee! I use a large glass pitcher, and I put numerous pods inside with COLD purified water, and allow to COLD BREW for 2-3 days. Once strength is achieved, I remove biodegradable pods and lay them in all gardens. *Before pouring the cold brew, you can add first, inside coffee cup/mug your favorite coffee mate, milk, or any flavor. This is naturally cold brewed, and nothing is better.

After drinking the senseo brand for many years I decided to try the Baronet Colombia flavor. I didn't expect much but wow!!! This coffee truly put a smile on my face. I warm up some half and half in my Nespresso coffee frother , fire up the Senseo and voilà.. The flavor is rich and well balanced, not to strong. Delightful to drink I will say that it seems like the quality control on the pods could be better. Finding a lot of pods that have a small area on the side that aren't sealed. It's no big deal but on a Senseo coffee maker it can cause clogging. Great flavor and great price.

I began work at an office that had a "coffee pod" machine, meaning, not Keurig, but using flat paper wrapped coffee called pods. Didn't think much of the office coffee, and so went to Amazon to buy my own--I bought Baronet. There aren't many coffee pod choices on Amazon. I used it ten or twelve times, didn't think highly of it, then I discovered that what I bought was the same thing that the office already had! I was disappointed in its flavor. Since then, I have bought from brand Good as Gold, the Blend Kona, Jamaica Blue Mountain, and 100% Colombian, and they are all better. All very good. But not even the Baronet, IMO, is as bad as Green Mountain Coffee Keurig pods, which seemed to be the coffee of choice for other offices where I have worked. That's the most horrible coffee you can get IMO.

Overall, this is some of the better Columbian coffee in a Phillips Senseo coffee machine I have ever had. Bright, medium body, non-acidic, and well balanced Columbian coffee results on the first cup. The pods fit well, and they work just as the others have from major Dutch coffee sources. It’s still a moderately pricey form, but fresh, quick & clean in the early morning rush. In some ways, I think this is a superior option to other offerings, and will be trying other flavors- but I consider this a very good buy that meets my tastes.
