Good supplement to take.

I believe this supplement is more efficacious for chelating heavy metals from brain due to the lipophilicity in the blood brain barrier than many other touted cures... Definitely noticed it does something as a potent antioxidant but it is a little bit on the pricier side. Heavy metal poisoning from mercury, lead, aluminum etc. is becoming all too common yet unrecognized due to the heavy industrial contamination of the world food and water supply. Surprised this is not mentioned in the marketing materials as NAC and NACA are known heavy metal chelators. The addition of the ethyl ester should in theory make it more effective at pulling heavy metals out of the brain. I'd also like to see more research on NACET dosages - typical NAC dosages are up to 600 mg or higher, whereas this NACET only uses 100mg - could probably up the dose for better effect. The other components, molybdenum and selenium are also helpful for the chelation process but I am not sure how necessary molybedenum itself is. There is a danger in too many antioxidants so be careful with this sort of stuff and do your research. If you value your health, it is worth it. I will buy again sometime soon.

I have concerns about how much active ingredients are in here ... This is the product that made me always purchase products that are third-party tested from now on. To be honest I didn't take any but I know acetylcysteine and the extra version is probably even worse smelling almost just doesn't seem to have a smell which would be great for the people that don't like it but then are we just getting a weaker product?

I am 78 years old. I have been taking in NAC and glycine for four months. They seem to be working for me. My skin is smoother and my mood is better. I also have more energy. I take 3 g of each. I saw where NACET was stronger and got to the brain and eyes better, so I switched to this product. It seems to help my eyes. I take one pill 30 minutes before breakfast and another at night 30 minutes before supper. I also, add a little glycine in one of my cups of coffee in the morning to sweeten it. Also, it doesn’t have the sulfur smell that regular NAC does. The first picture is a current view of my eye and skin. The second picture was taken 10 months earlier. My eye is now much brighter as you can see! I have no idea why I took the earlier picture. It is a happy coincidence! I thought I’d give an update after two years. This supplement has 600 mg of glycine. I don’t think that is enough glycine, so I use an extra scoop of glycine powder every day. I am still very happy with my skin and eyes. I noticed that my hair has regained some of its youthful brown tones. My beard still seems the same though. I have heard that gray hair is a nutrition effect for an older people. I can only guess that this supplement improves nutrition.

I wish they did a low or no mineral version.
