Just as expected. Quality rubber that my horse has not been able to chew through. Loves when it’s filled with hay and treats keeps her busy for hours.

This is an incredible interactive a forage forward & mimics the natural way horses eat food. It's been keep in keeping my little guy entertained as he transitions to his new home! Also helpful for building positive interactions for touching and engagement since the touch can happen and handing him the ball afterwards to eat a bite of hay is brilliant wait to socially eat and make human touch less scary! I'll never not have this filled for him again!

this was a gift for a horse in a rescue

Our horses love these things and it keeps them busy!!! Our horses have slow feeder bags but still eat through them quickly so I was looking for something to keep them entertained between feedings. These treat balls absolutely fit the bill! They were worth the money as they still look brand new even after dozens of uses- very durable! I’m hanging them in their stalls so the size is perfect to not be in the way. I can see how it would also be a good dog toy, but I haven’t used it as one.

I wanted to like this more because the concept is actually smart It gives the animals something to push around and keeps them busy for a little while The problem is that it feels better as a toy than as a real hay feeder. It is smaller than I expected and it does not hold a lot of hay. Filling it is also not as easy as I thought it would be. Once the animals figure it out the hay is gone pretty fast. I also agree with other people that the string could be stronger. For something that gets pulled and knocked around by animals it should feel a bit more secure Another thing to be careful with is horns. I would not feel fully comfortable using this with goats that have horns because the shape seems like something they could get stuck in Overall I still think it is a useful product for boredom and play. It is cute and the idea makes sense. I just would not buy it expecting long feeding time or heavy duty use

I needed something to keep my extremely smart and easily bored Arabian entertained while on stall rest. He does get access to his paddock but strictly no grass right now. So needless to say, he was getting bored. He has a jolly ball but he’s food motivated so I wanted to try something that would emulate foraging. Enter this toy! I can stuff about a quarter of a flake of Timothy in there, and he usually goes for it before his hay net because he enjoys bopping it around. He does empty it rather quickly but it’s easy enough to stuff hay in there I do a quick refill when I check on him between filling his actual hay net. It’s proven durable, and does exactly as I expected so I’m happy with it.

I have bought two of these, one for each of our horses. They are very good quality and the horses can’t destroy them. Our horses love finding treats in their hay ball! It keeps them occupied, they even play with the ball once it’s empty. Would definitely recommend!

Quality is good, however the portion is very small for a horse, could be suitable for ponies

So useful! I use these as a slow feed toy to make the time between breakfast and lunch hay drops a little better. Even without adding treats, horses like the novelty and it encourages natural browsing behaviours.
