RAPICCA BBQ Grill Gloves, 932°F Heat Resistant Neoprene, 17 in XL

i have only used once so far to do a shrimp boil and they worked well to handle the hot pot. They do have a strong odor when you first receive but i sat them outside to air out and they seem better. They give great protection and are easy to clean with soap and water. They are nice and thick so it does make them a little stiff to move fingers but not bad. Overall i am very pleased with these gloves so far.

I have only used them on one campout so far, but they worked great. It was amazing being able to simply pick up a dutch oven by the wire, lift off the lid (which had charcoal briquettes on top), and put it back on without having to use an awkward tool (and deal with the fear of tipping the coals into the food). The gloves are thick and kind of bulky--they remind me of those gloves in chemistry classes. They are lined, so your hands don't sweat, which is nice. They were roomy for my adult hands, but even my 10-year old nephew was able to use them (though they went clear past his elbows). My 17-year old nephew tried rearranging the actual coals while wearing them, but that quickly got too hot for him. The gloves were not harmed, though. After all that, they were covered with quite a bit of ash, but we just wiped them off (like you would gardening gloves after digging in the dirt), and they look fine.

Bought these for my husband as a gift as he really loves to BBQ, and he loved them! I was surprised, finally because he's hard to shop for. Definitely recommend. Easy to clean and fit like a glove 😆

I really like these gloves and it does buy me a few seconds to get things moved around in the grill...especially things that require me to use my hands instead of utensils....like giant chickens or briskets! I've had many pairs from different brands and I'm never quite sure if the amount of time they state is accurate in terms of how long you can withstand the heat until you get burned. Let's just say that when you pass the time of resistance....you can feel it pretty good and it's not pleasant. I have a high pain tolerance but I've pulled the gloves off several times because it felt like my hands were on fire!!! I don't think that's a knock on the gloves....I think just be careful to understand the temperature of what you're working with and the "recommended" times that are stated in the instructions! The good news is...despite feeling like I've been lit on fire, I haven't suffered any burns or injuries....I would call that a win and I think the gloves do the job! They're easy to get on/off and easy to clean. No complaints!

These are perfect for working in a grill or oven where your hands are in tight quarters. I was constantly burning my hands on the multiple racks on my Traeger while moving food around. With these on, I can get things in place perfectly and not worry about bumping the racks. They work great for working in a Pizza oven too. I personally love how far they cover up my forearms. Great product!

Very nice, it doesn't make you immune to fire and got a little warm when I was rearranging some coals with my fingers. Outstanding gloves. I don't know how I did so much grilling without them. I never will again.

I deep fried a turkey this year and got these to help me manipulate said bird during the cooking. It does very well--I was able to put my hands into the boiling oil and turn the bird or whatever and did just fine. But watch out--if you take too long, the heat DOES start coming through and even when you take you hands out of the oil, the temp INSIDE the gloves continues to rise for several seconds before they start cooling again. Washing the gloves was a bit of a challenge as the oil seemed to like the gloves and didn't really want to wash off, so I had to do multiple passes, but it eventually came off. If you are going to stick your hands into hot oil, I think this is going to be your best bet. If you can NOT stick your hands in the oil in the first place, that may be better...

I am very pleased with how rugged they are. They are light weight, but hold up well. We clean griddles while wearing them as not to get burnt. They have provided great protection. I ordered a second pair due to their reliability.
