These knee ice packs are great! They are very large, cover the entire knee and can also be used on other body parts. Like your shoulder, elbow, ankle pretty much anywhere. The velcro straps are extremely strong and allow you to tighten them enough without getting loose or loosening up. As I walk around though walking around is kind of hard but still possible if you tighten it enough and keep your legs stiff. I have permanent knee damage in my left knee from a car accident years ago but I also do heavy weight training and squat very heavy so they are extremely useful after training to prevent inflammation, soreness and tenderness around the kneecap that can happen sometimes from training really hard. If I could give these more stars I would. I use them as much as possible whenever I need them. They are absolutely great. I am very satisfied and it is worth the money I did initially keep it in the freezer overnight but I did try it just after putting it in for 1 hour and it does get cold enough to use for 10 to 15 minutes. By using them after they've been in the freezer overnight, I've had them keep their coldness for over 2 hours, especially if I'm just elevating my leg with it on my knee. It is also nice that it has a soft padded side, but if you want it colder you can just flip it over and use the non-padded side

Very well made. The thicknesses of the material is flexible but robust. The straps are plenty long, are well stitched, and the Velcro works very well. It was able to fully wrap my knee all the way around and it was secure. It remained cold for about 30 minutes or so. I agree with the high ratings.

This one’s a keeper! I originally ordered an ice pack(from Amazon) that had one Velcro strap in the middle of the ice pack, which was useless, because the outer edges of the pack stood straight up. This first pack also had individual squares that were rock hard when frozen, no flexibility. This new ice pack is excellent! The double Velcro straps are a game changer, and they are nice and long. They keep the pack snug over the back of my knee perfectly. However, it slid down when I tried to walk. Not a deal breaker because I’m supposed to be elevating my leg. I use this pack on the back of my left knee because I have a bakers cyst which acts up on a regular basis. It’s awful, truly painful! This pack targets that area nicely. I let it freeze overnight to get it frozen, yet still somewhat flexible. When frozen, it’s a little stiff, but I just roll it longways to soften it up a little which works well. It comes with a ziplock bag to put it into the freezer, keeping it from smelling like a freezer. Also, this bag has instructions on how long to freeze it for to get the best use out of it. Very helpful. My only issue is that because it’s a gel pack, vs the other ones with several individual squares that freeze, it doesn’t last as long. But I do get a good 35 minutes , which is just right for my use. I highly recommend this ice pack.

Good ice packs for wrapping around the knee. These ice packs are plenty big enough to wrap around a large knee including bandages. They have a soft fuzzy side that's great for applying directly over skin and a smooth side that works well over bandages. I dropped 1 star due to them taking a couple hours to get solidly cold. We purchased 4 of them to ensure we always had a solidly cold one for use on an hourly basis. Post knee replacement requires 20 minutes of use every hour.

Great choice for icing after knee replacement surgery. Covers large area and stays cold for a long time so easy to refreeze in time for next icing. Cover can go directly on skin although I usually place something between my skin and the ice pack. Flexible and could be used for other parts of the body. I would definitely purchase again.

Amazing product. I used these through both an ankle surgery and a knee surgery, and they worked great. I love that the inside has a very soft felt lining, so there’s no need for a separate cloth or towel between the pack and your skin. The adjustable straps are perfect for securing the cooling pack around almost any body part. They do have a little weight to them, but I actually prefer that because they stay in place well. The gel stays cold for about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on room temperature. Having two packs is especially convenient because you can keep one in the freezer while using the other. My wife also uses them on her back and hip, and even the kids love them for their little bumps and bruises. Overall, a great product that our whole family gets plenty of use out of.

Ice packs are made well. Bought a two pack so one is always ready while the other is getting cold. Fits well and covers a large area of the leg. Great for a knee replacements.

Pros: 1. Long enough for me to warp around my knee. 2. Two sides each has different material that allow you to feel different coldness. Cons: There are quit some reviews complained about leaking. I think I figured out why: 1. The gel has too much water as part of the ingredient in it. That's way after freeze overnight, it gets really stiff, very hard to bend around body joint. In order to use it around knees, ankles, etc, it will have to be forced to bend, which is not sustainable, eventually crack the materials. 2. If only freeze it few hours, the coldness will not last long. A solution (suggestion), because I like the size, really want to make it work: I keep the ice pack in a cylinder shape. Every time before I put it into the freezer, I wrap the pack around a water bottle and put them in the freezer together overnight. That way, when I need to wrap it around my knee, only need to do very minimum bending. I have had it for 3 weeks, no leaking yet, hopefully I didn't just jinx it :).
