The CADPXS 550 has an elegant simple desig. It’s heavy duty but effecient, easy to Cary and manipulate but gets the job done. With multiple speed settings and a built in outlet for dolly chaining equipment it is a great machine . What follows are my pros and cons of the unitPros:==============Easy to open and use:The scrubber comes in a simple box, easy to use and access. It is very easy to set upTool-Free Filter Access:Easy access for any technician trained or untrained. The filter compartment is easy to access and get into and out of no tools required. A simple snap latch feature makes accessing the unit easy, and makes the use of instructions or training almost non exhistant as it is easy to get in and out of.Design:This unit is made for commercial, heavy duty work. It was built and designed with quality plastic. It is light and easy to carry, yet you can tell it will stand the rest of rigorous work load and activity. It is designed effeciently to be used as needed in a tough trade. You can tell the 550 is ready be used in the situations it is needed for.Price pointCompared to other units of similar grade and use.. this machine is extremely fair priced and competitive to anything on the market! The usefulness for the price is perfect and makes this an easy no question buy.Hour meterThis is a great feature to track job hours, and time on site. In the restoration industry this is huge to paint the picture to adjusters and let them know how long equipment was used.Control panel access:The control panel is placed in a great spot for any use. It is easily accessible wheatjer placing down or up, it is also easy to use and the features are easily readable and useable. The ease of use makes this a great buy for anyone looking to get into restoration, or the basic homeowner looking to purify their air.Cons:==============CFM Output Feels SLIGHTLY Less Than My Other Air Scrubber:* I have another 550 CFM air scrubber I regularly use. The output of my other one feels stronger than this CADPXS one. A smaller inlet hole allows less air to flow in and out. It seems relatively strong though slightly less than other units of the same size:Filter - Carbon & HEPA Not Separate:This is common in scrubbers and though not objective to just tjos scrubber it would be handy if both were separated for ease of use and accessOverall The CADPXS 550 Air Scrubber, I’d a great addition to my equipment. It provides ease of use and is handy for day to day. When we do a large volume of mold this is a great acquisition. For the price Point. It is a very good unit. And fair. I have run it on multiple job sites now and it has helped clean the air and ensure that we passed the mold test multiple timesI strongly recommend this unit as a great guy

I just picked up this new air scrubber. I like that it has a very sturdy build and variable speed!Please check out the video review for the basics,...It's very easy to use. Just plug it in and turn the dial to adjust the speed. That's it. The Variable speed dial is a sturdy metal dial with very smooth rotation and a nice click at the end so you can feel it when it's turned on or off.It has an hourmeter to keep track of hours on the job.GFCI plugs so you can plug other equipment into it or daisy-chain multiple air scrubbers together.Changing the filter is very easy. Just open a couple of clamps and you have access to the filter. No tools necessary.I have a couple of air scrubbers that requires an Allen wrench to open and access the filter,... and it can be a pain to find one when you need it😅Great seals all around!The substantial foam intake cover creates a good seal to prevent puffback,... unlike other air scrubbers with flimsy plastic intake cover.Foam gaskets to seal the tip and bottom if the filter as well as around the filter compartment insures that air will not go around the filter.Nice, lighted power cord is a simple feature, but very useful to know whether it is plugged to a live outlet or not.Boul-in cord wrap makes it easy to store the power cord neatly around the unit.Well Placed Control Panel:* In relation to the exhaust, the control panel is located on the side. This is great because if you’re pointing the exhaust up in the air, the control panel is still easily accessible. My other air scrubber has the control panel on the opposite side of the exhaust which means it’s on the floor when pointing up and not accessible. Great job on the placement of this.It comes with a pre-filter and a HEPA and Carbon filter which does a great job to filter out particulates as well as odor when you're working around sewage or fire damage.Overall, a solid air scrubber with all the features I need. I'm looking forward to use it at work to put many-many hours on it👍😄If you're looking for an air scrubber, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. Grab one and try it out for yourself!

Wow I am impressed. These work great its simple to use and it will clean out any odors or smells around my house.

Worked well for a year of light use then would not turn on.

Used this for a mold remediation my husband did in on of our bedrooms. Sucked up dust and drywall particles from the air well. Much needed item when doing any construction work in your home

I bought four of these from my mold remediation business in South Florida. they were $100 cheaper each than the bluedri. it's basically identical, I would guess it's probably made in the same place in China. The only difference I know is it seems like the bluedri blows a little bit harder. I really don't think it makes a difference as long as it's moving air, I did buy a wind gauge and I'm going to check it when it comes in but I don't think that there's a big difference just a little bit harder. although the bluedri is noisier then these ones. also this comes with a three-stage filter. it comes with your air conditioning type filter and a HEPA filter, on the back side of the HEPA filter it has charcoal, carbon. to where the bluedri does not have that so it's only a two-stage system. so the units cost in you $100 less and you're getting an $80 filter versus their filter so you're saving even more money. I don't know what the resale value on the unit will be. but I can get half my money out of it after I get 5 or 600 hours on it I'm happy when I put these on jobs I charge $65 a day. and my typical job has four of them on it. I hope this was helpful. they're nicely put together, although I do notice the bluedri today is $449, compared to last week when I bought these it was $499. they do weigh a good amount, honestly I'd say they wait 45 lb each and their cumbersome but they can be carried.

The scrubber works to get particles out of the air. The catch is that a lot of the particles get past the pre-filter and end up in the HEPA filter. This will be a lot more expensive to constantly replace. If you use an air scrubber a lot, look for a different one. If you just need one occasionally, this is probably worthwhile.

I was told I would need an air scrubber that might run me over $1000 when I discovered black mold in one of my commercial properties, but this model both performed as well as most other alternatives, and at a price point I didn’t feel super victimized by.
