25 pack Sponge paint brush

I needed foam brushes for my small business - between painting or applying protective coats over my homemade products. These foam brushes fit the bill perfectly - they're small, cheap, and I don't feel bad when they don't last (I got the 25-pack of 1" brushes). They fit perfectly in the small half-pint, 8oz containers of paint or stain. I can typically get a few uses out of them, especially for multi-coat projects. Also, they weigh next to nothing - very light. They're certainly not the most substantial brushes I've ever used, however, they're cheap enough that I don't feel bad when they wear out after a few uses. If you're brushing things with sharp edges (like unsanded wood), it will tear right through the foam, so be sure to be gentle and take your time with them. Also make sure to wash them out thoroughly immediately after use as whatever is left in the foam brush will harden up and be quite difficult to use again.

This are somewhat flimsy, and would probably not hold up to a lot of use. But that is OK for the price. I used these for applying oil-based polyurethane. And for this they are fantastic. I find foam is better for this than brushes. I don't need the foam to be any stiffer than it is. As far as the waist of throwing them away after each use, I realized it was less wasteful (and environmentally toxic) than the mineral spirits needed to clean foam or a brush.

I have no problems using these brushes with oil based exterior paint. They lasted as long as my prior store bought versions, but with these I get more brushes at a cheaper price. For those reviews that say they flake off, all foam brushes I've used start to flake off foam after using about an hour or two and these are no exception. They're not meant to last forever and are much more convenient than trying to clean oil paint off a bristle brush.

I purchased this 25-pack of Artlicious 1-inch foam brushes mainly for craft work, staining, touch-up painting, and adhesive application where disposable brushes are more practical than constantly cleaning standard bristle brushes. For those types of projects, they work well and provide good value for the quantity included. The foam holds paint and stain reasonably evenly, and the wood handles are comfortable enough for short to moderate use sessions. They’re especially useful for applying finishes in tight spaces or for projects where brush marks need to be minimized. Since they’re inexpensive and disposable, I also don’t hesitate to use them for messier applications like glue, touch-up coatings, or small epoxy projects. The reason this isn’t a 5-star rating is that the foam quality is more “general-purpose disposable” than premium. A few brushes showed slight inconsistencies in foam attachment or edge shape, and they’re not something I’d choose for fine finish work requiring absolute precision. For everyday hobby, craft, and utility projects though, they’re convenient, functional, and a solid value pack.

These are so convenient. I do my trim work with these. I’ve had success using them. I recommend these foam brushes.

Sponge brushes are a decent price for the amount you get. The downfall of these are that they are not screwed in to the wooden handle. They are just inserted so after a couple of uses they come apart.

These foam brushes are used for a variety of tasks and do a good job. I've ordered them several times already. Recommend.
