I couldn't wait to try these out. Not my usual thing when I'm painting but as designing some greeting cards they are perfect for my needs and are lovely to use. Beautiful colours and really are metallic and no separation into the water as long as I use the recommended amount and a few layers do the trick. helps that they are in cute little tins and handmade.

I don't usually give reviews but these paints are outstanding. I had a large comission piece and still have plenty of paint left, a little goes a long way. The pigments are high quality and shimmer in the light, without being 'glittery'. Would highly recommend this brand to professional artists looking to source gold paint.

Such a good colour .. very vibrant

How can anyone resist trying these dinky little watercolours?! I bought these in the same so they were very reasonably priced. The paints are individually wrapped in a tiny metal lidded box. There are small magnetic strips inside which you can glue to the backs of the paint pots to keep them in position. I like them. The colours are subtle and shimmer nicely, none are particularly vibrant or rich and I didn't expect them to be. They are fun to use, and would make a nice gift. Happy to recommend. Arrived earlier than expected- impressive. I am SO IN LOVE with these mini tin paint sets. The colours are absolutely beautiful, and so lovely and creamy to use. As with all w/c paints you must activate with water before use, and dont close the tin while wet, allow them to fully dry first. I am collecting them all, they are so adorable. I'm addicted! Never had a problem with any of them. They arrive promptly, are well packaged, immaculately and individually wrapped, and the colours are out of this world. Buy some! You wont be disappointed!

Good quality and cute box

I bought the Fruit Midsummer paints, they were due to be delivered tomorrow, and they arrived today. I am so happy with these paints they are absolutely beautiful, and the pictures don't really do them justice. They came in a lovely little tin and all individually wrapped. I love them so much I am about to buy the 3 other colours. They are not cheap but they are worth the price, especially as they are hand made. The colours look lovely on watercolour paper and it doesn't take much to make a rich creamy mixture in your palette. When rinsing off my brush I had a swirl of delicate shimmering pigment in my water. You really won't be disappointed if you buy these beautiful paints.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!! The colors are beautiful and have a lot of pigment. Look good on light paper bus especially on darker paper. And they are a great price.

Die Auswahl an verschiedenen "sonnengeküssten" Farben in dieser hochwertigen und niedlichen Metalldose ist sehr gut gelungen. Es geht vom hellen sunshine bis zum rötlichen Terracotta Gold – für jede Gelegenheit der passende Ton. Insbesondere für Sonnenuntergänge oder auch Herbstbilder eignen sich diese warmen Farben sehr gut. Toll finde ich diese kleinen Metalldosen, da ich die schimmernden Töne nicht ständig verwende und so sofort die richtige Box zur Hand habe. Es handelt sich um einzeln verpackte Näpfe die eher übervoll sind. Die ausgepackten Näpfe kann man mit dem beiliegenden Doppelklebeband fixieren, so kann man später die Farbe ohne Herumrutschen entnehmen. Die Farben benötigen nach dem Wasserkontakt einige Minuten, sind dann im Napf schön cremig und können so direkt für einen deckenden Auftrag verwendet oder wie üblich weiter verdünnt werden. Sie lassen sich glatt auftragen und trocknen gleichmäßig, behalten ihre Farbe und ihren Schimmer. Sie bleiben auch nach dem Trocknen je nach Lichteinfall schön schimmernd. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesen Farben und werde weitere Sets kaufen.

Please be warned: these paints are not handmade, sold and dispatched from Germany, but they come from China. They might use pigment from Germany, but that is not the same as handmade paint from Germany. And the quality is aboslutely horrendous. They are not watercolour paints whatsoever. The paints are practically dry before your brush touches the paper and they became gloopy within a blink of an eye. It all feels like one big lie and I would advise everyone NOT to buy these paints.

These colors did not disappoint! Most colors in this palette are very pigmented and all colors sparkle and shine. 10/10 would buy again. As far as lightfast, that is unknown. Maybe the description says so. Either way, I am very happy with this little palette. Colors are beautiful and the price is fair. For those looking to dip into Paul Reuben’s Metallic watercolors or Finetec Pearlescent, I would say this is a great alternative!
