What does the b or d mean? and the (m)?

These letters are for how wide the shoe is. D means extra wide in the front part of the shoe and great for extra toe room on the sides. M just means medium width. I an not sure about b. I love the D with the extra width as I walk a lot and it gives my toes a little extra room on the sides.

What are they made out of?

Nylon and suede. They hold up really well. I’ve had mine for nearly six months and wear them several times a week and they still look great!
