Great air cylinder.
Picked this item to make a DYI can crusher. You must also order some 3/8" quick connect inserts for your air supply unless you already have some. I also picked up some M8-1.25 X 30 screws to mount unit into 3/4" oak housing. These screws can be inserted into the cap-nuts (8) to secure your cylinder to your housing assembly. This cylinder has worked great so far. Ran it for several hours so far with no issues. I've been running the air supply at 100 PSI. It sure does a great job of crushing cans. Am able to crush can to around 1/2" effortlessly. Fun project.

Good for can crusher.
Buildt a can crusher. Worked excellent! Fast, plenty of power, I figure about 400 psi of compression on can. If built right, compresses to about 3/4 inch or less. Worked good. Only that not in description is thread on shaft. They are metric. 16mm x 1.5mm thread

Worked Great on my DIY can Crusher.
My grandson and I used this cylinder to build a can crusher. Worked perfectly. 2 five gallon cans of aluminum cans crushed in about 10 minutes. Great Saturday project.

Solid work
A rugged and solid cylinder. Works perfectly. The only small drawback is that it should have been delivered with two piston nuts instead of only one.But I am satisfied.

Buyer beware threads on ports are NPFT thread
The thread is not a standard npt thread but a 3/8"-18 NPTF, that size end is very expensive for a threaded barbed end around 25$ for 1 plus ship and could not find here on Amazon

Love that is dampened (does not slam)
bought it to make can crusher. A little overkill at 90PSI. Love that is dampened (does not slam). Killed some cans. Saves a lot of space. Hated doing this by hand now just a click of a lever. Will recoup cost is first bag of cans. CA CRV 5 cents each.
