It works for what we needed it for, glad we bought it.
The kids bought us an electric fireplace heater insert for the downstairs fireplace. We loved the the insert but was afraid to leave it plugged in and turned on to long because the cord was about 3ft to short of the outlet and used an we had a short indoor outdoor extension cord we used to plug it in for a little while at a time, but even the extension cord would get a little warm. This 6ft appliance cord was just what we needed. just long enough to get to the outlet and the cord never felt warm yet. We love the little fireplace insert the kids got us, but this 6ft appliance cord gives us piece of mind and don't take up the space the 25' extension cord did.

Good heavy wire. Does the job. Could be cheaper?
For the price, it was a good strong extension cord, but should have been a bit cheaper. I think it does have stronger amperage rating than what you usually find in hardware store or home depot. Looks good and beefy.

Very good, very useful.
Delivered today by Amazon Prime, bought two days ago on Amazon website. This cord is just right for what I needed to connect the charger for my MacBook Air to make it more easily accessible when I need to unplug and move it elsewhere. This cord slides easily under and behind furniture so it's not visible. I like the flat low profile plug too, it's just like the one on a one-foot cord I use for a motion-detector nightlight that turns on when I enter the room in the dark. The quality and the prices of these Firmerst extension cords are commendable, and I recommend them. The technical description of this 6-foot cord on the Amazon webpage gives excellent information, so if you think it might be useful for you, check it out. I rarely write a product review this thoroughly, but this product deserves it.

Heavy duty extension cord
Bought this as an extension cord for a smaller (20 in) electric fireplace insert. It looks to have adequate amperage to do the job. Will update when I get the fireplace in... UPDATE: Have tested this several times with my 21 inch electric fireplace insert. Only using the plug for this item so I don't overload the circuit. The plugs where it connects to the extension cord get warm due to electricity passing through, such as a phone or computer charger, but they don't get hot to the touch. The wall plug stays completely cool. I watch it and only run it on the lower 750 wattage setting, just to be safe and careful. Most of the time, I've just run the effects only without heat. May look into a thicker gauge cord, such as 12 AWG or 10 AWG, but this works for now.

Just what I needed.
Purchased this to supply electricity to a Toto Bidet toilet seat, so to not need to hire an electritian. The flat plug made it all work (as a regular plug would have stuck out and been in the way of other items on the bathroom counter). We placed the cord behind the faucet and down the cabinet and I don't even notice it anymore. We are renting and weren't allowed to drill any holes in the cabinets or wall to hide the cord and this provided the needed electricity, for less than $10. PERFECT

Does what it is supposed to do.
It's a extension cord. It does what it says it does. No issues with the power.

Cords Claims are all Valid
Great wattage and 14 gauge (lower the number the better). Plus the cable's plug is slim and offset, providing the extra room to use the second outlet. Added bonus, the cable is very pliable. I am assuming the durability will stand the test of time based on its construction and build. We use our extension cord for our 1200 watt microwave.
