Hi guys. I usually don't write reviews, but this seems too important for me not to share with others who might be also struggling with their female hormones as I was. ("WAS"... I can't believe I can say that now) If you are thinking about getting this supplement... I'll cut to the chase. STOP SCROLLING AND BUY IT. You won't regret it. You can read on for my story... Hopefully it might help some one who is still on the fence about it. I was on birth control for over 10 years starting from when I was old enough to make any decisions about my body. Because I started so young, both my body and I seemed to have "forgotten" what it's like to have a natural period. I am 28 and I decided that I should probably get off of B.c. to give my body a chance to recalibrate its hormones in case I want to have a family in the (near) future. ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE when I stopped taking birth control. I know I am not alone in this because I have done EXTENSIVE research, that its "normal" for your body to go haywire after stopping synthetic hormone replacement. Its something I wouldn't wish for upon my worst enemy. I had missed my period for going on 3 months. My skin is a disaster (worse acne than when I was a TEEN). I was growing unwanted facial hair SO FAST. and I was moody, anxiety ridden, tired, and over all ... I hated myself. I hated that I went on B.c to begin with, that my skin was in the WORST condition it was been in AGES. I had acne in the hormonal region of my face (cheeks, chin, jaw). I was worried about underlying conditions these symptoms might be telling me... plus all this during the pandemic I wasn't going to bother my in-person doctor with these problems. I brought it up with an e-visit and what did the doctor say? For me to consider going BACK ON the pill. EXCUSE me ... sure, it might make things go back to the way they were. But that was not normal. I did research and kept coming back to Vitex being a natural solution. For some reason, I didn't jump on this right away... BUT I WISH I DID. I received the supplements on the 11th of feb, and now its the 23rd. Heres what I can say so far: 1. IT SMELLS FANTASTIC. I LOVE IT. I take a deep breath of it every time I open the bottle (a bit of a personal regime of mine to start my day). 2. It goes down easy. It really makes you feel like you're doing your body a favor by taking it. 3. To begin with, start with taking 3 a day. I took it as soon as I woke up in the morning with a glass of water, during lunch, and then before dinner. Doesn't say with or with out food so -- don't think that would make a difference. I still got terrific results. 4. Even though nothing was really overtly happening, I felt really EXCITED to take it everyday. There was something shifting in my mood. I didn't think much about this though, but thinking back it was probably BALANCING my hormones. I will never miss a dose. 5. I know its ONLY been a WEEK AND A HALF... But guess what. After missing 3 months, my PERIOD is here (sorry if TMI) BUT GUYS THIS SH** WORKS. I wouldn't be writing otherwise. Taking these supplements is the only real change I have made in my lifestyle since getting off B.c. As for my skin, It might be too early to say anything about what vitex might be doing for me in that aspect. I started using Adapalene gel on my face since Dec 1 and my skin continued to progressively get worse. I recently just started curology -- and my skin is only beginning to improve so I can't entirely Give credit to the supplement... but I know that if I continue to balance my hormones these issues will be fixed from the inside out. FINAL NOTES AND SUMMARY: Get it now. Your lady parts will thank you.

I had irregular periods lasting 9+ days .. started this 15 days ago and my last period was a bliss. Super regular, 4 days ! I’m in heaven. Just one side note : if you have migraines, maybe it will give you crisis during the first days ( at least I experienced this side effect). But besides that, I strongly recommend this supplement

Didn’t realize how great these were working for me until I stopped taking them for 2 weeks (I was procrastinating to refill my pill box) & experienced terrible acne before my period came. These supplements definitely calm a ton of my lady - hormonal issues and although I still have rough periods- they’re definitely worse when I’m not taking these.

TLDR: Pro: These capsules cured my cystic acne with no side effects. First photo is before taking Vitex, 2nd and Third 3rd photos are from today (nearly done with bottle now). Especially if you have low progesterone, this may help you! Con: The pills do not go down that easily. I am a 25 y/o woman who struggled with cystic hormonal jawline (and around perimeter of the face) acne for 10+ years. I am writing this review because I’ve finished nearly the whole bottle. I’ve tried probably everything - dietary changes, hygiene changes, topicals, etc. The only thing that helped me in the past was hormonal birth control but that gave me undesirable side effects and I did not want to risk possible negative long term effects. I started off by taking 3 capsules once a day for about 1 month. It only took about 1-2 weeks for my acne to clear up. Then I decreased to 2 capsules once a day as maintenance and my skin has NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN THIS CLEAR (even while on birth control). Now I mainly just have pitted scars and some hyperpigmentation. I personally also experience no negative side effects from this product. I have not had to make any dietary changes, although before taking Vitex, I generally eat a balanced diet, low in processed food and avoid dairy for the most part. I hypothesize (but cannot be sure because I did not get the baseline lab) that this product boosted my low progesterone, as my day 21 progesterone lab was recently normal. However, my testosterone and estrogen were high. I do not know if there is any correlation to that with this product or if I naturally already had that imbalance. If I miss taking it for 1-2 days I will get some small acne, it doesn't become a deep painful cyst. Once I continue taking it, the acne quickly goes away. I encourage everyone to read “The Period Repair Manual” by Laura Briden and “Beyond the Pill” by Jolene Brighten. I only took off a star because these pills go down relatively slowly in my opinion which make them uncomfortable to swallow - sometimes you need to drink water again after swallowing to help it travel down the esophagus. This is due to the formulation of the capsule shell. Considering how acne is so physically, mentally and socially tiring, I wish I tried Vitex sooner! It has seriously changed my life for the better.

I’ve missed my period for two months in a row- I started taking vitex three times a day for two weeks and today I started my period!!! I am so full of relief mentally and so pleased with this product. I’m going to follow the instructions on the bottle and hopefully continue to experience hormone support while I do. Thank you to this company for an awesome product!!

I suggest talking to your doctor before taking these. I took them hoping they would regulate my cycle and alleviate my PMS symptoms, but they ended up delaying my period and really threw my hormones off. Everyone can react differently, so I’d recommend getting medical advice before taking them.

I started taking this supplement because I suffered from ovarian cysts and was afraid I wouldn't be able to get pregnant. I combined it with zinc and magnesium. To my amazement, just three months after starting this regimen, I got a positive pregnancy test! I had also recently stopped taking the birth control pill that I was previously using to manage my condition. I'm not entirely sure how it worked scientifically, but I truly believe this combination supported my body's natural balance and health. I am so grateful for this product and the result

He comprado dos botes de vitex, uno en enero y otro en junio. Con el primer bote tuve resultados excelentes. Tengo baja la progesterona (me hice análisis clínicos para saberlo) y entonces no quise tener reemplazo hormonal, así que investigué y supe que vitex ayuda a mujeres con baja progesterona. En el primer mes ya no estaba tan sensible (lloraba por todo), y al segundo mes la menstruación tuvo un ciclo de 24 días (el mío era de 19 días). Así estuvo por dos meses más. En mayo el ciclo bajó a 21 días, igual en junio. En julio el ciclo bajó a 20 días. Hice un seguimiento y entendí que debemos descansar un mes para reactivar el efecto del vitex. Es un suplemento maravilloso, los días de tristeza se fueron, los sangrados eran normales (no abundantes). Sólo que sí debes descansar un mes sin tomarlo para que reactives su efecto en tu organismo.
