These 3.1” Matte alligator clips are TERRIFIC! All surfaces are covered with a silicone(?) type coating. I have baby-fine hair. Very thin but the thickest is in the back. Long enough to make a pony tail to twist it and clip it to the top of my head. The pony tail is no thicker than my index finger. These clips hold GREAT and I don’t even feel them! They don’t single out a couple of hairs to pull on and make your head sore. If I get the clip end out of the way, I can even lay on them comfortably! For my the length perfect. Many of the other ones are over 4”. Be sure to read the info so you know what size you are ordering. I use these like barrettes. I have bad shoulders and even the bendable clips are hard to get in. These just side right in and hold my hair up as long as I need. So glad someone thought of these! :)

I've given up searching for plastic clips in retail stores--stores stock only metal hair implements, which cut and break the hair and are too heavy. Finding these was a pleasant surprise. They last a long time, hold hair reasonably well, and look nice. I got them in two different colors and have used them for years. Occasionally one will break but that is a rare occurrence.

These are decent enough for my hair kit, I don’t like metal duck bill clips, but finding a durable plastic clip is damn near impossible. I’ve had several of these break at the spring, but I still have most of them. If you have extremely thick or course hair, u might want to keep looking.

Just the right size! They hold back my hair and I love the different shades. They are sturdy and good value for the money.

I chose these for holding the curl in place while it cooled from the curling iron. They work perfectly. They hold in place, and don't crimp.

The clips break at the hinge. Definitely do not drop them. They are functional, just brittle.

Love these for clipping back my hair while I do my makeup! The matte finish is really nice and doesn't look cheap, and they don't crease the hair. I haven't had any break on me, and for those complaining that they don't fit a lot of hair... they're not supposed to. Use them to just keep your hair out of your face around the house, etc. Perfect for what I need!

I purchased these clips for clipping up hair into sections and they don't have any hold or grip to speak of. Once clipped in the hair they can be pulled out easily without any hair being pulled or feeling any pain. I like the color, look and texture but sadly disappointed in the grip.

Too small for use with much hair. I can usually put up all of my hair with this type of clip, but these are far too short for that. Check measurements against one you already have maybe. Colours are lovely, but they’re not very grippy.
