Believe What you Read - Its Been Great for Jilly
My baby is a 17 year old 44# spaniel mix who was experiencing signs of dementia. In our case, wandering and complaining in the evenings, but the real problems began during the night. Getting up to roam, pushing things around (waste baskets, shower door, sofa pillows), barking, digging the carpets, wanting to go out, frantic running, climbing furniture . . . We could not soothe or settle her. She could then catch up on her sleep the next day, but WE were exhausted! About six months ago our vet mentioned Senilife - only that she'd heard some good things about it. I was doubtful that a supplement could have such an impact, but I'm SO happy we tried it because after about 3 weeks our Jilly was normal again, rarely displaying any of those symptoms. Yes she's still old and has normal aging issues, but its been absolutely life-changing for all of us. If your senior dog is having issues, its definitely worth a try. Good luck! (And yes, I know this size dose is for larger dogs. I found the little vials difficult to deal with and they were much more expensive though that's how we started and the product worked. I'm not making any recommendations on dosage, but I decided to take a chance at trying the larger pill every-other-day and its working for us. I don't puncture it, just wrap it in a special treat like liver sausage and throw it in with a meal.)

They worked for me (more specifically, my senior dog)!
Highly recommend these if your dog is a older and is starting to have "senior moments". They were recommended by my vet. I used them on my senior girl for a month and, to be honest, I wasn't sure they were doing anything, so I stopped using them. Within a week of stopping I noticed that the "senior moments" had returned. They definitely helped my aging girl to be more like her old (younger) self. To make it more clear of where we were when I started these, she was not experiencing severe cognitive decline, more like beginning stages. She seemed to be getting confused more often, like she would forget where she was going and staring off into space randomly. This supplement definitely helped.

Worked for my 12 year old boxer
This over the counter dog medication is not cheap but it’s been a game changer for our dog. We have a 12 year old boxer who was exhibiting some odd behaviors and confusion. The vet diagnosed doggy dementia and recommended this medication. Within a few days our dog was acting like a goofy puppy again. It’s been six months and his dementia episodes are much less frequent and less upsetting to him (and us). If your dog is experiencing dementia this supplement might be worth a try.

XL means for Big Dogs
Did not know this product is for dogs that weigh at least 50 pounds. It was not stated anywhere on Amazon that I could find. Guess I'm screwed.

Recommend by our vet
Our vet recommended this product for our senior dog. Although we couple this with a prescription, it does seem to make a difference (as opposed to using the prescription alone). Purchased multiple times.

XL vs regular
We haven’t been using this long enough for a proper review but I wasn’t able to find information about dosage on the XL. The pictures show the regular capsule next to the XL as well as package information.

We can relax at night :)
I do feel like this has worked for my 14-year-old! He is no longer up all night and seems to be more “with it” as a whole. If you’re worried about your baby’s cognitive health, you should try this. Also: I had stopped giving him Senilife briefly and noticed his old habits coming back. I think it’s safe to say it really works.

I think they’re helping…instructions are so unhelpful
I started giving these to my dog when she was diagnosed with canine dementia about 6 months ago. I started at the same time she was starting a bunch of other medication and supplements and I found trying to put these in her food so FRUSTRATING. Pills were flying across the kitchen while I was trying to pierce them, the liquid inside was getting on the walls, it was a nightmare. The only good thing was that my dog really loved them. I tried the smaller version that has the twist off top, much easier to give, but so expensive as she needed 3 a day. So I stopped giving them to her, and maybe it was in my head or maybe it was unrelated, but it seemed to me that she took a turn for the worse. Seemed to have more trouble staying focused and was losing balance. I had forgotten these were on my S&S, so I tried them again but this time just chucking the whole pill in her food and covering it up. She eats raw food so its quite wet and it causes the capsule to start dissolving enough that it becomes soft and my dog eats it without noticing. Instructions say to put in dogs mouth, but my dog doesn't take pills that easily and these are HUGE. Definitely cant hide in a piece of food or anything unless you have a big dog that eats anything without chewing. Took a long time to work out how to get her take them, but I do think they are helping.
