Product:The product arrived quickly & was beautifully packaged, containing a very nice carry-case, USB cable and 3.5mini jack cable for wired use.'Out Of The Box Experience':My previous headphones were the MPOW H7 BH162A model with an ok evenly balanced sound with no ANC or app.The Anker Space Q45 headphones were, for me, extremely easy to connect via Bluetooth to my main device, download the app and learn how to use the ANC. The controls, I find are easy to use with both a Power & ANC button on the left side. On the right, are volume & play/pause buttons.Sound Quality (out of the box):All of my listening is experienced through my Sony Xperia xz3 mobile. For Classical, Jazz, soul, Funk, Dance, Techno, Rock, & acoustic.App used: Poweramp music player with full high quality EQ.For me, the sound quality is superb. The sound is rich which deep rich base, a wide/well defined midrange & clean/crisp trebles.Unless you need studio recording quality... the Anker Space Q45 way more than do the job. The Soundcore app, I find is easy to use, being able to adjust the sound with the EQ & fine tune the ANC.Note: Sound quality will be dependant on the quality of the recording, the device used or the quality of the broadcast sound from streaming apps & websites.Build & Design Quality:The build & design quality in my opinion is excellent. I have a medium to large size head, they fit me very well, are very comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. my partner, for whom I also purchased a pair, has a slightly smaller head but still they fit well & she is very happy with them.I have seen & watched video reviews saying that the build quality is poor & that the materials degrade in a short time.This product is a high quality beautifully designed piece of electronic equipment... & not meant to be stretched to breaking point, slung into a rucksack or constantly used FOR hours & hours on-end without being cleaned regularly. (Baby Wipes) I feel are the best.Noise Cancelling Performance:This is my first experience of ANC. I travel on the London underground to work (the noise of which, below ground, can reach 125Db, add to this the sound pressure). I normally use the 3M E-A Rsoft FX earplugs (which sit much closer to the eardrum) & really do block out nearly all aggressive sound.As a first experience, for me the ANC worked well above ground with the ANC dampening most harsh sounds with most ambient sound 'pushed in to the background'.On the London Underground, they did perform well, however, as there is space between the eardrum & the headphone, there was a degree of reverberation.If you have frequently travelled on the London Underground, then you will be very familiar with the 'SCREAMING SOUND' as the train goes around bends (imagine if you will the noise of a hammer-action drill, drilling aggressively into contrete while you stand right next to it for an hour... painful!!!)Reason For Purchase:I didn't want to spend 'funny money' for high quality sound. As a fan of Sony, I did purchase one their mid range models but they did not compare to this Anker model.Purchased principally for the very high quality sound... Definitely recommend.Build & design Quality... Definitely recommend... (look after it).An alternative to ear defending earplugs. (for me, if you're principally looking to defend your ears from noise, although you can still hear some sounds, the Anker Space Q45's will do well above ground)Call Quality:The call quality I feel is very good.Update:The ANC works extremely well walking through a park with the railway in the background. It block almost everything.Sound Quality:Listened to Prince, Purple Rain through the excellent Sony Xperia xz3 via the Poweramp music player. Excellent sound definition & range.While writing this... I am listening to the Zen Radio app... Superb sound definition, depth & range.

I have been using these over the course of a week away from home. Bought as an alternative to my Soundcore A1 earbuds which have proved great value/reliable for use in the gym but wanted a solution with ANC and better sound and privacy for travelling and occasional use at home.So far very happy. Sound quality is very good imo especially when modified via the (very good) app having taken the hearing test. ANC for me is spot on and again customisable through the app. The well padded ear cups and head band are very comfortable and the control buttons simple and effective. I have had no issues with pairing/connection to iPhone/MacBook/TV and range is very good. Build quality seems good to me having chosen these over the Space1s not least because of the use of aluminium in their construction over plastics. My only issue would be that they are quite a loose fit (I don’t have a tiny head) and whilst perfect for my intended primarily sedentary use they would not imo be suitable for anything more active than a walk. I’ll stick with my A1s for that. Overall for the price I paid (£89), which includes a hardshell case, I am so far perfectly happy with them.

So overall i am very happy with the product. I've been using the headphones for about a week at the time of review and they are a big upgrade in what i was looking for compared to my previous headphones (anker q30). There was an update to the firmware i had to install but that was quick and painless. I just downloaded the soundcore app from the QR code provided in the packaging and it auto recommend the firmware update took about 5 mins to complete. A big improvement from my previous anker headphones is that it doesn't spam battery low every five mins when the battery is low. It informs you one or two times and it no longer cuts any audio when it does so.The noise cancelling is great for what i needed i live on quite a busy and active street and this cuts out almost all that noise even more so then my previous headphones and the app lets you set the levels of noise cancelation you would like which is nice to have. i found the sound to be rather good for the price you may not get other brand flagship headphones levels of clarity and sound but honestly i can not fault the sound once again being a decent upgrade from the Q30 from my experience and pleasant on my ears.Battery life is great aswell i almost exclusive have the headphones in noise cancelling mode and lasts easily throughout the day and the quick charge means 5 mins of charging will net you a good chunk of time of use before needing a proper charge.I did get this on sale during a primeday sale but after using them for a little bit of time now i would of been still happy to pay full price cause it meets my needs for noise cancelling extremely well. Comfort if prolonged use could be an issue for some the earmuffs can get a bit warm and uncomfortable but from my experience just having them off for a quick 5 min charge whilst making a cup of tea or whatever removes that sensation and apart from that are comfy enough.

As the proud owner of a pair of Q30s these are a no-brainer, boasting similar specs with improved ANC and battery life - seriously the ANC is amazing!The Q30s have a fuller sound with a nice bass kick to it, like being right up in the music, while the Q45s are a bit flat - nothing you can't solve using a fair bit of tweaking using the in-app equaliser and a maybe a touch extra bass on the device you're using them with...While this will affect the battery life somewhat (i.e. raising the volume a bit), it's negligible toward the overall performance - I got a battery warning after 26h of use using these methods and normally call that the 'time of death' as you don't want to listen to something knowing that's hovering over you - YOU CAN TURN BATTERY WARNINGS OFF!Yes, I made that uppercase to point out how something so simple can make a product stand out amongst the crowd - why doesn't everyone do it?! - yes, I'll say it again, you can turn the battery warnings off completely, gaining you at least another 5+ hours of interrupted listening pleasure for those long-time listeners.While the battery life impact is negligible for the casual user, for those - like me - who have annoying neighbours, it may seem a bit lower than advertised - this is not an issue, they fast-charge and are back up and ready again in and hour or two.Noise cancelling is highly respectable even when ANC is turned off, so turning it on is like being in a different world - while having internal mics, it may seem jarring at first as they can sometimes reflect mouth movements, this is a small price to pay for how much noise they block externally; no more noisy neighbours!Oh, and ANC works when wired - did I not mention that? It's a major failing of the Q30s (more so given it was possible but removed later for some reason) that led my to buy these (again, noisy neighbours) - I can now listen to my NDS and 3DS while wired and play games/compose music with no distractions.I will mention that Anker reached out to me to help me solve some issues I had with the specific headset I bought and this has solidified my stance that Anker Soundcore have support that is second to none (thanks Julie!)If they updated their firmware to allow all possible headsets/earphones to allow turning off the battery warnings they'd be a force to be reckoned with - as of now, these are the the only ones I own that allow the feature (please do it for the Space A40s - it's perfection waiting to happen!)Highly recommended; and I'm already looking forward to see what the Liberty 4 NC are capable of (please allow battery warning muting!)

Bought as a gift. The recipient stayed these are great headphones. Easy set up, super noise cancellation and incredibly comfortable to wear. The ear cuffs cover the ears rather than sitting on them. The sound quality is very good. So I would say these were great value for money. The case is an excellent idea to help protect the headphones when not in use.

Grab them when they're attractively priced. Bass is excellent, separation top-notch, sound is exceptional at £84 (as of time of writing) really exceptional. Haven't tested all the bells or whistles yet using the app but why should I - they just arrived. I'm enjoying them in default mode - can't wait to spin them through the app. Oh, and they're comfy too - can't wait to test them out on my way to Shanghai later in September. Yep there are newer updated models available - but these Q45's tick all the boxes & they arrive in an excellent carry case. Very happy.

I had bought these back in January 2024, and for the most part they were amazing. Solid sound quality that sort of went muddy/flat in the last few months. Fantastic ANC. A stronger build quality from my previous headphones Q30s (Anker). They pretty much disintegrated in the ear cups and hinge/extension.For the next 2 years (just under), everything seemed great. Sound quality, features, Hear ID, LDAC, hearing protection and lifespan. Battery lasted a week or more when I wasn't using them and commuting to work. ANC was always turned on. The build quality was at first stronger with a tighter cushioned band and bigger softer ear cups. I have small ears; the kind where the smallest loop ear plugs don't fit, and these cups were more than spacious but created a barrier around my entire ear. I loved these. They were great for rock music and no sound leakage whilst commuting.Until this week, Nov 2025.On Monday I had noticed a hairline fracture above the right cup hinge. I thought nothing of it at the time and didn't check the extension since I have no need to. I have a small head and the original fit without extension fits just fine. That became the real problem. Over the next couple of days I began noticing more creaking, fractures deepening and bits falling off. The right side extension crumbled and completely collapsed.The right side extension began falling apart. Eventually making the right ear cup dangle by the wire alone. I am utterly flabbergasted and saddened by this. My favourite headphones gone (my only headphones).I only use these for travel and in my downtime. No excessive usage from gaming or studio work. Just light to medium usage from a 30 minute commute and back and a couple of hours at home. The creaking was normal especially for the brand, and as is with all plastic headphones. There were no sound dips nor other noticeable changes. I kept these beside my bed for late night meditation and zoning out.There was a saying not too long ago but don't think its around anymore but people said that Soundcore's building quality is terrible and that does ring true here. In both cases that I've had the Q30 and Q45, they have both disintegrated after a year and a half. The fluctuating price point just doesn't cut it anymore. They might be the staple in the market for ANC on a budget but I just can't do it anymore. The one thing I hoped would be different continues to curse me.Not even their Space one or Space one Pro seem comparable. The latter headphones being a newer model but a lower sound quality and ANC than the Q45.Sure, the app, features, ANC are currently the best on the market for budget friendly headphones and that kind of shows. It's either a solid sound and ANC or a bad battery life and terrible build quality. I can't keep placing blind faith in this brand anymore.I've actually downgraded in a way to getting the CMF Headphones Pro. A much cheaper alternative. I know the ANC and sound won't be the same nor on par with the Q45 but I'm hoping that the build quality lives up to expectation. The 50hr ANC lifespan equally seems promising.I might return to this brand if they do fix their issue over their plasticky build and muddy sound (Not out of the box but over time).

As with most things I'm going to purchase, I did some in depth research on the Q45s. A lot of people online will criticise the sound quality on these, they said it's a downgrade to the Q35s, they're bigger, they stick out more, they're heavier. I decided to see for myself.I compared both products side by side. For a couple of days, I just couldn't decide which ones to keep. The 45 look better, more modern than the 35 but the 35 just sounded more bassy. I like good quality bass so I was leaning towards them, the bass is nice and on some songs, it felt like the bass went right through you, they sounded great in my opinion.I physically compared them side by side, the 45s don't stick out any more than the 35s and if they do, it's minimal (we're talking mm) as you can see on the 2nd pic. The ear cups are larger though as shown in the 3rd photo. Both are very comfortable to wear, none of them have a real big clamping force (as suggested by a couple of Youtube videos).Some differences to note:- The 45's have bluetooth 5.3 whereas the 35s have 5.0- 35's support LDAC but nowhere on the app is there the option to turn it on and off, however, you can do this on your phone settings but not anywhere else. The 45s allow you to turn this on/off in the app.- The app features are limited on the 35s as you can see on the screenshot, there's no option to view your connected devices or auto turn off the headphones after x amount of time- 35's allow you to touch the side of the headphones to go in to transparency mode (I thought this was touch and hold and when you release it goes back to ANC but it doesn't, it just changes mode). Pretty pointless as you can do this with a click of a button anyway- 35s have the feature for the music to pause when you take the headphones off BUT it's intermittent, when using it with LDAC, the music kept pausing every few seconds on it's own. I guess Anker couldn't perfect this which is why they removed it from the later 45s- The noise cancellation is better on the 45s and the sound that leaks from the headphones is far better on the 45sI needed to decide between the two so I went to Youtube and listened to 'Ultimate headphone test' and checked both headsets, there wasn't a huge difference in the 2 but clarity seemed better on the 45. I then listened to 'Best 8D song EVER experience with headphones 2021' on YT and this made my decision... The 35's sounded nice, bassy as I expected, however, the 45s just gave me an unreal experience, they opened up the sounds, the clarity was fantastic and crisp. The only way I can explain it is, I actually felt like I was in the room with the music playing out loud.This along with the fact that the 45s are newer, better app experience, better ANC, newer bluetooth version etc all swayed me to keep the 45s.Price wise, the 45 at the time or writing this are £97, the 35s are £119 or £95 refurbished so difference wasn't major between the 2.Sound of course is subjective and the above is based on my experience only but I am happy with my purchase. I hope my review will helps others who are torn between choices.

It does not seem to fit as snug around my ears to fully work with the ANC to block the sound of wind passing around the headphones as I ride my bicycle (my requirement for this purchase). (34cm ear to ear over top) equiv. to where the headband would be, and yes I know to retract the headband to make it smaller.I decided to return these, even after debating to myself that "maybe I'll keep these as like a spare?" which would be the second spare headphones I'd own..As far as I can see, the product here is really worth the price, it has good ANC, very great audio quality, it can play sharp high-notes as well as push really deep bass that at peak can make you really feel the notes, and the included app/in app-stores is additionally very useful, within it you can control what EQ settings you want or if you want to manually select what notes to increase/decrease, within you can set the preference for ANC strength, but the function I see as the most valuable it the ability to select what max volume the headphones should go to counted in decibel, (80,90,100) allowing you to listen to music and/or have the ANC at full strength yet sparing your ears any damage due to a too high volume)Oh, and the headphones have a physical button where user can select between ANC low, high and lastly, off, or rather it passes the audio from the microphones to the elements/speakers allowing you to have a conversation with these on even without any issue as it reproduces a crisply sharp sound barely a dB off the true note, where the only difference I can think is that due to being electronics and it passing what the microphones pick up, the natural hum of everything around you is not heard though these headphones, then again you'd likely just use this setting for when you're paying in a store and don't want to feel rude by not saying hello or if they ask you for the receipt where otherwise not hearing them might look rude. No, with this anker space Q45 you can spare yourself the trouble. Again, if it had fit my criteria with the ANC blocking at least most wind brushing past as I ride my bicycle, I would definitively kept these and likely used them for whenever I listened to music, which with these would have increased, oh and they also feel great to keep on, not feeling too heavy or clumsy, quite nice just as it is.

Good deal and easy to use

Great buy. Was deciding between this and the Sony WCH720N, as they are around the same price range. I compared them side by side and found that the sound quality, material quality and comfort were better with the Space Q45. The only problem I had was regarding the fit which was quite loose around my head.Overall highly recommend this as the best bang for your buck if you care about quality lossless audio, and PNC/ANC and holds up to the same benchmarks as Apple,Sony and Bose products.
