Excellent piece of kit! I have a Bosch combi drill with hammer option, but have found that drilling brickwork can be a challenge. Using this SDS Plus drill with a Bosch 7X series bit, drilling 14mm holes became easy. Very impressed with the performance and would recommend it.

It's not going to be a substitute for a heavyweight mains-powered SDS+, but it's a big step up from a normal percussion hammer drill for most masonry jobs. I use a 2.5Ah battery with it and it lasts quite well. One thing to note is that it needs a couple of seconds of drilling before the hydraulic pressure builds up and the full hammer power gets unleashed - I guess its a power-saving thing. It's mentioned in the manual but who reads them??

Little heavy on the battery, but surprisingly powerful when removing tiles. Use ear protection though. Not so great when using with mud mixer for plastering or tile adhesive mixing, definitely needs min. 4 Amp battery.

Great piece of kit, puts my previous corded hammer drill to shame!

I was drilling 100mm deep 8mm diameter holes in concrete blocks and it does about 14-15 holes on a full 2.5Ah battery. Not only that, but if you drill one after another the battery's thermal cutout triggers after about 10 holes. (This was outside when it was only 10C.) When the thermal cutout triggers, it just goes dead. There is no warning light telling you that is what has happened. It is as if the thing has died. But wait a few minutes and it will come back. For small jobs, you'll get by with the 2.5Ah battery, but for bigger ones, the 4Ah will be better. And if you are using a big core drill, probably just use a mains SDS drill! It is more convienent to be cordless though.

Exceptional tool for all jobs it is built for.

A good solid sds. l and at a very reasonable price. We needed to get a large amount of old plaster off a room and was taking forever. This and a chisel end bit made it very easy in the end. It is not overly heavy and my wife was perfectly able to do stints with it. If you already have one of the 18v batteries that go with this set then it makes it very affordable indeed, we already had a couple so didn’t have to buy any and they were fully charged when this arrived and we got on straight away. . As we were using it as a chisel it was in constant use, nearly nonstop for 25/30 mins before needed charging. If you need to do basic drilling I imagine you could go a good while without a recharge.

J'ai acheté ce perforateur Bosch pour effectuer différents travaux dans ma maison, ça perce bien comme dans du beurre. L'usage du sans-fil est pratique mais toutefois, qui dit puissance en sans-fil dit consommation de batterie importante. C'est tout à fait normal car l'outil est performant. Je recommande pour plus de tranquillité, l'usage d'une batterie de 4Ah. Pour ma part, j'ai pû sans aucune difficulté, fixer une tonnelle sur ma terrasse. Je suis entièrement satisfait par ce perforateur. Je ne suis jamais déçu par Bosch. De la grande qualité donc. Je recommande ! Je suis prêt à répondre à vos différentes questions si vous en avez. Si par ailleurs mon avis à pû vous conseiller où aider, un grand merçi de cliquer sur la touche "utile", cela m'encourage à publier d'autres avis.

Wie zu erwarten hat das Gerät bisher gute Dienste im und am Haus geleistet.
