Brought this for my 2020 Yukon, as we travel a lot with two kids and sometimes one of the grands. Needed extra cargo space without buying a new car. This cargo carrier is LEGIT! It’s heavy duty, easy to install on vehicle (2 person required to line up and it’s heavy). The waterproof carrier kept everything dry and is made very well and heavy duty! It survived rain, freezing temps and 12 inches of snow without leaking. Haven’t used the cargo net yet, and the ratchet straps provided are durable. We were able to install so the back tailgate can still open (1/2inch clearance) with this on. Can’t even tell it’s there when driving. I will say there are a few instructions that are not very clear or may be missing when putting together initially before attaching to vehicle- but we figured it out fairly easily. Spend the money and buy it!!!!! You will Not be disappointed!

Did a lot of looking and comparing on Amazon before deciding that this is the best hybrid system for me and my 4runner. Is heavy but sturdy. Fits my ebikes and regular bikes. It works as a bike rack or a cargo carrier, not both at the same time, as you have to remove the bike holder post to put the cargo sides up and with the cargo sides up you cannot fit average sized bikes (unless they are kids bikes or maybe you remove the front wheel) which I'm ok with as it's just 2 bolts to remove and put back. It comes well painted but I did spray another layer of satin enamel black spray paint just in case for wear and rust protection long term.

Unit is solid, taking bikes on my first journey coming up. Everything is exceptionally well made and I don’t anticipate any issues. Instructions were easy to follow, and easy to do. Customer service top notch.

Directions suck but if you threw them away and just put bolts in where they made sense it’s a very sturdy rack! I have driven over 200 miles and it held my 2 e-bikes perfectly. Note. In order to fold can’t have stem attached for bikes. Wish that was made with something with a pin to quickly unattached. But just have to take out 4 bolts

excellent product and amazing customer support! I love that they just sent me the screws that were missing (and some) without a debate or anything. I noticed some screws were missing and 3 days later they are in my mailbox. really great! thank you for that! The basket itself is sturdy and hold weight very well. i have a smaller truck and sometimes i don't want things in my truckbed. this is a phantastic addition without needing a trailer. i also use it as bike back and it works great!

This cargo carrier has been excellent on our motorhome. It is large and easily carriers our twin stroller, lawn chairs, and other smaller items. The velcro around the closure is SUPER strong! Plus the heavy duty zipper kept everything dry on our 7000 miles trip across the USA. Metal frame is strong and sturdy. The vinyl carry is heavy duty. It would take quite a bit to puncture it, it did come with patches if needed. We had no problem at all with punctures or rips. It was pretty easy to assemble. Took about 1-1.5 hours to assemble, and mount on our motorhome. It folds up flat when not in use. We like it very much. I would highly recommend it for traveling if you need extra storage space!!!

Be aware of this product, I purchased this hitch cargo carrier in May 2026 through Amazon. It is rated to handle up to 500 lbs. of cargo. However, after just 1,800 miles of highway driving, carrying well under the limit with only two large suitcases and a cooler, I noticed a significant alignment issue. The main shank or folding pivot assembly has developed a structural twist and skew. When folded into the upright position, the platform no longer sits parallel to the rear bumper; instead, the left side sits noticeably closer to the vehicle than the right side. I have checked all nuts and bolts along with the anti-wobble tightener to ensure that it's intact. This is a serious safety concern. Because the metal has already warped under normal, lightweight operation, the structural integrity of the hitch is compromised, making it unsafe to hold cargo or be driven on public roads. As a consumer, I followed all operational guidelines, and this premature warping points directly to a material or manufacturing defect.

Best purchase for our road trip. Stable and smoothe drive. Almost forgot it was back there. Low enough where it did not impede my view through there rear widow also did not block my license plate. Have us so much room. The storage bag that it came with was perfect. Going cross country we hit two storms and everything in the bag was protected. Absolutely love it
