I ended up purchasing this so I could keep an eye on any pets that are at my house when I pet sit. I pretty frequently watch dogs and cats at my house, and I always get so paranoid they're up to something silly when I'm gone, so I got this. It arrived right before I was scheduled to watch a dog at my house for a week, so it came just in time! The camera quality is pretty good on this, plus the app is easy to use and set up, and the controls are also pretty decent. It does lag a little bit sometimes, but it's not so bad. It also takes a hot minute to get the camera feed going if you're not on fast internet, but nothing too horrible. I like that it moves left, right, and up and down, although it doesn't go that far down, but it's not a huge deal to me. It also captures motion for animals well, although it doesn't usually notify me of that - which would probably bother me more if I got it to watch birds, but since I got it to watch dogs and cats and it tracks that, then I don't really care much. The night vision was quite good, and it has local memory storage, although you can purchase I believe cloud storage and a subscription through the application if I'm recalling correctly. Honestly the camera is nice too because I'm paranoid and I like being able to check on my home when I'm out and about. The price is also unbeatable. I'm considering getting another one just so I can watch the birds that come by on my patio to eat from my bird feeder LOL. Overall, I definitely like this camera. It is pretty simple, and functions exactly as intended, and fulfilled all my expectations without any issue.

Okay, so hear me out. I got this to place on my newly set up aquarium because I am *obsessed* with watching my little aquatic frogs, and seeing them frolic makes me happy at work when things get stressful. Don't judge me. They're adorable. I picked this specific camera for two simple reasons: I could pull up the feed on my phone at any time, and it was the cheapest one listed on Amazon. I literally expected NOTHING from this camera. But good lord, I LOVE this thing! While it FEELS light and cheap (and, let's be real, IS cheap), it doesn't operate cheaply. This thing is packed with features and functions, with a crisp image quality to boot. The only thing that could possibly make this camera any better is if there was a battery-operated, wireless option. - Picture quality: Excellent. 2K image quality for crisp daytime image, and night vision is powerful and not as grainy as other's I've used. - Field of view: Wonderful. This little camera rotates both horizontally and vertically. I do wish the downward pan offered a little more rotation, but by no means is a hinderance. - Audio quality: Pretty good. I don't use the audio function often since this is just for my little froggies, but I do sometimes talk to my kitties on here when I'm out of town. - Recording: Simple. I bought a 128GB micro SD card, plugged it in, and boom. 24/7 continuous recording with no subscription. - App: Does the job. Operates intuitively enough. Easy to pull up recordings. Live feed has minimal lag. Sure, it's another separate app that I'll never use for anything else, blah blah blah. It is what it is. - App features: I don't use most of these, but it's impressive that they're there for such an inexpensive product, and others that are NOT using this exclusively to ogle their frogs will surely have use for them: -motion tracking w/ motion alerts -auto day/night mode switching -horizontal/vertical pan control -talk and/or listen mode -siren? (not sure exactly what this is for/what it does) -24/7 video recording with on-demand playback -snapshot photo option -ability to set privacy areas -ability to set camera auto-off schedule -requires biometrics or a password to access app for security tl;dr: value for the price on this thing is outrageous. Buy it.

Great camera works as well as the over priced ones. It was delivered the day I ordered it. I got this to watch my 2 week old kittens but my 3 month olds helped me set it up 😉 the video quality is very good. Even at night. 1. You don't need to pay for cloud service 2. You can save videos and take screenshots with the app. (Add SD card if you want) 3. If you don't pay for cloud you can only view auto saved motion alerts for 2 days (you can still see thrumbnail but can't play after 2 days). Cloud allows 7 days. 4. There is a delay on motion alerts but it's only 30-60 seconds. Plus another 60 secs for camera to connect so you can view. Even though i always have it hooked up it has to reconnect every time i open app. So if your like me and need to run into the room that's the only issue. 5. Set up was super easy. 6. It only records about 3-7 seconds when motion is detected. It will stop recording even if there is still movement. Says it will record longer clips if you pay for cloud. 7. Tried the "only alert in certain section of camera view" It didn't work for me but I'm recording a cat not a person but Sometimes the camera alerts me saying the cat is a person. 8. Read comment about Siren. It can be turned off. Maybe the person just didn't know how. (Click siren select off and select triggered by motion. If you only select off it will still go off with motion) 9. Another review stated there was no way to turn camera of without unplugging. Which can be done in settings, you can even put camera on schedule. Pic of on/off button on screen view. It wasn't there the first week but I moved camera and it just magically appeared on the screen. Maybe it's a glitch. Overall great camera for the price.

These work very well inside the house. We use them to keep an eye on our dog when we’re away from home. You download the app so you can see everything on your phone. The picture is clear and a nice feature is you can talk using the intercom and listen as well. Setup was fairly easy and you can adjust where you need to see because of the 360 rotation feature. The app can sometimes be a little glitchy but, that’s with every app, unfortunately. Affordable and a good buy.

I ordered the 2 pack of the Galayou 2k Cameras to use as a remote monitoring system for my 3d printers about 2 days ago. They are incredibly easy to set up and I am blown away by the quality! Here's the general setup procedure straight out of the box: 1) Download and open the app 2) Plug in the camera using the USB Cable it came with. 3) Follow the instructions in the app- it has an option for you to connect your phone to the WiFi network you want to hook the camera to and then the WiFi Camera will scan a QR code on your phone to connect (what a cool pairing method!). That's literally it. I was somewhat amazed at how simple the whole process was. The only difficult part was enabling 2.4Ghz WiFi but that took me about a minute after googling "how to enable 2.4Ghz Wifi [my internet provider's name]" (basically going to your local WiFi IP (found by googling it) and logging in. You go to WiFi settings and either enable the 2.4Ghz, or change the name of the 2.4Ghz network so it appears separately from your 5Ghz network). That being said, if your WiFi is already a 2.4Ghz connection then you don't even have to worry about it. Outside of the insanely easy setup process, you also have the ability to take pictures and record them to an on-board MicroSD card, to cloud storage, or to your phone via the app. The video feed doesn't take up as much bandwidth as I would expect and the frame rate is great. I got these ones in particular because they had the ability to move the camera remotely- a feature which works flawlessly. I haven't even had a chance to try out the motion-tracking yet. The night vision is also remarkable, and there's also a low-light mode that activates automatically as well. Honestly, could not be happier with this purchase, and for the price you'd be hard-pressed to find anything that beats this. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could- I will absolutely be buying from Galayou again.

The purpose of this camera purchase is to monitor my hamster. I bought this model for a few reasons: 1. It had night vision 2. It can track motion and rotate 3. It was cheap (~$15). UPDATE: the camera no longer works Setup was easy. The app let me sign up with Google, which is convenient. It connected to the wifi without issue and hasn't dropped the connection yet. I mounted the camera with industrial Velcro. It is hanging from the center support bar in a Bucatstate 3.0 120 cm. The camera is very light and feels secure mounted with Velcro. The cable is thin enough to be threaded through the ventilation slits in the top door. I like that there is a MicroSD slot and I got an Amazon Basics 128GB card at the same time as the camera. I don't subscribe to the cloud service offered. The night vision is clear and turns on automatically. I keep a red light on when I'm in the room at night and occasionally it's too dark but the night vision kicks in whenever that happens. I like that you can have preset positions but I wish you could have more than 4. My big problem with the camera is that it both tracks very well and not very well at all. For example, my hamster can walk across the cage but the camera won't follow her unless I manually change the position with the app. However, if one of my cats gets too close to the enclosure the camera will follow the cat and not the hamster. There are motion detection settings that allow you to block out areas you want it to ignore. This isn't useful when the setting is static but the camera is dynamic e.g. the ignored zone set in one position will apply to all positions. It would be nice if it could complete a full rotation and allow you to customize the motion detection zone from multiple angles. Another idea would be the ability to profile pets and identify which ones to ignore or follow. UPDATE: It's been installed for less than a week and has already turned itself off. I didn't get any hamster footage last night because the camera randomly turned itself off.

This indoor security camera has been excellent. Setup was straightforward and the video quality is sharp and clear — I can easily see what’s going on in the room. I also like that the motion detection works reliably, so it alerts me quickly when there’s movement. The night vision is surprisingly good too, which is great for keeping an eye on things after dark. Overall, I’m very happy with this camera and feel it’s worth the investment for home security.

Sort story: It is definitely worth the money. I purchased a set of two with the idea to use them with Agent DVR (iSpy) and it did not disappoint. Long story. Camera comes and expected to be used with the companion mobile app. At least all the initial setup (connecting camera to WIFI, enabling ONVIF) is done using mobile app. Setup was quick and easy. Camera supports RTSP, ONVIF (ONVIF needs to be enabled in the mobile app, along with the local account setup) and Agent DVR recognized ONVIF camera without a problem. I did not test it with Blue Iris, but I don't expect it to have problems. However, PTZ controls only work in the companion mobile app and and DO NOT work in Agent DVR. Customer service did confirm this to be the case. I think it's unfair to deduct any stars for this since it was never advertised that PTZ would work in 3rd party DVR apps. Video viewing and recording works in Agent DVR just fine. After all the initial setup was done I disabled internet access for camera on the router and it continues working OK locally for video viewing and recording within Agent DVR. My cameras are positioned mostly statically and if I need to use PTZ I would have to connect it back to internet, use mobile app to change the angle, disable internet and so on. Not ideal, but works for me. Overall video quality and feature set is quite impressive for a sub $20 camera. I have to specifically mention customer support. They actually respond to emails and then follow up to see if I had any other questions/problems. Joy from the customer support was especially helpful. Thank you.
