Schmidt's Aluminum-Free Deodorant Clean Coconut 2.65 oz

I have used probably 35 different natural deodorants of various brands and scents. Most are just completely ineffective. But Schmidt's brand is the outlier. It works and it works well. And I am not your dainty little lady sweater, I am a sweat factory. I've spent my life purchasing shirts that didn't cling too close to the armpit, or were in certain fabrics or colors to avoid pitting in public. I sweat. A lot. This deodorant doesn't make me not sweat completely, it just makes this a non-issue. 9 out of 10 shirts are no issue, but there will be the occasional one that just clings too tight to the pits to let anything work. But here's where the coconut sets apart from the others. The smell that happens when it mixes with your sweat and hormones. I love the smell of the citrus versions of this deodorant. They are wonderful! But oh my god, the smell they create when mixed with my sweat... It's not good. And everybody's chemistry is different, so I know this may not be an issue for all. But gosh it's an issue for me, but NOT with the Clean Coconut scent.

Smells a bit limey but I actually like it. Reminds me of Hawaiian tropical after sun lotion. Stops sweat and left my skin fresh. After intense outside work there is a lingering smell though. Easy to apply and not too sticky. Felt good to be using a deodorant that is healthier for me.

This is great deodorant. It goes on so smooth and nice with the freshest scent! It will leave white marks on your clothes though so be careful when getting dressed! I do reapply later in the day because I am very active all day but it's likely not necessary. It just feels and smells so fresh. It is not sticky or hard to apply at all, so very smooth!! I do not get any irritation at all with my sensitive pits even immediately after shaving. This is really a fantastic natural deodorant.

Overall, Schmidt's Aluminum-Free Vegan Deodorant (Clean Coconut) is a decent item if you are looking for a clean, plant-based deodorant. It definitely has its perks, but there are a few drawbacks to keep in mind before buying. Good Initial Performance: It applies okay and does a fair job of keeping you feeling clean initially, offering a solid vegan formula free of aluminum. Doesn't Last All Day: Unfortunately, the protection doesn't seem to last all day. If you have a long workday or a heavy workout, you will likely need to reapply it to stay completely fresh until evening. Thick and Heavy Formula: The texture of the stick is very thick. Because of this, it can feel a bit heavy on the skin during application. Stains Clothes: The biggest downside is that it tends to leave underarm stains on clothes. You have to be careful when wearing tighter shirts or light-colored fabrics, as the thick formula can transfer over. The Bottom Line: It's a respectable 4-star product because the ingredients are great and it gets the job done for casual, short-term wear. However, the thickness and clothing stains keep it from being absolutely perfect.

This stuff is fabulous!! This was my first all natural, aluminum free deodorant so I had no idea what to expect. I am an extremely heavy sweater so i was definitely leary, but after reading great reviews i went for it! So here's what I've come to figure out: The stick is hard at first, if you leave it sit on your armpit for a few moments to warm it up, it glides much smoother. A little bit goes a long way It has somewhat of a gritty texture to it but not bad at all The scent is very pleasant but not your usual "coconut" scent. Its more of a citrus smell actually. This! Stuff! Lasts! It's been 100% effective! I've noticed no body odor and surprisingly, no excessive sweat either! I'll never go back!! Go for it! You won't be disappointed!

Warning: ‘Clean Coconut’ smells like lemon, furniture polish and citronella! I appreciate this product is free from aluminum, parabens and artificial fragrances. However, the ‘Clean Coconut’ scent is highly misleading- there is no coconut scent at all. Instead, it features a very, intense smell reminiscent of lemon, furniture polish and citronella. While the label notes included essential oils do contain naturally, occurring allergens; the odor was so harsh it gave me a headache on the first try. I am sensitive to strong odors, so this wasn’t a match for me. Skip this if you prefer mild or true coconut scents. But if you prefer very sharp, botanical scents- you may enjoy it.

This deodorant is good, but once I get to my monthly luteal faze … it does nothing for me . The formula is just missing something!It be having me out here stinky. I want to save some buck but back to my Sol de Janirio deodorant I go!

This deodorant is truly a game-changer! As someone who sweats profusely and has struggled to find an effective natural deodorant, I am incredibly impressed. However, it's not a deal-breaker at all; it blends in nicely and, most importantly, **doesn't leave any white chunking under the armpits**, which is a common and annoying issue with other thick formulas. The fact that this high-performing deodorant is **aluminum-free and plant-based** makes it even better. It's so important to me to use products that are effective without harsh chemicals. If you're like me and sweat a lot, this is definitely one to try. Highly recommend!

Claro que el desodorante es bueno, me funciona bastante bien con un poquito de producto, ya tienes no necesitas juntar más porque ahí es cuando empiezas a manchar la ropa; también es cuestión de preferencia de fragancias, a mí me gusta el de magnesio con carbon activado y que no trae fragancia. Éste lo compré para probar y regresaré al otro en cuanto se termine
