As any DIYer knows, it's the last like 5% of a project that doesn't get finished. And caulking is the absolute WORST part of any project. (IMO) It's so sticky and messy and if you cheap out and get a metal caulk gun it is kind of exhausting to use after a while. I have also personally broken like 2 of them accidentally. This gun is super compact. The push price is in the middle so it shouldn't snap off. The trigger is smooth and easy to use. There is a SLIGHT learning curve with installing and removing the tube but once you get it, you get it. Because it's so short it easy to handle. I personally got the bundle with the black stick thing to smooth out the caulk. For such a cheap tool it's amazing. Bypasses the worst part of doing any caulk job which is smoothing it out. Not a drop on my fingers. All and all. I might buy a second one just because.

Great tool, used twice, can't wait for third!

It is a great attempt and may work for a couple home projects with people who do not use it every day or in their normal job . . . . but anyone who really has to do some serious caulking will also come to the same conclusion. This is really only worth one place in your toolbox and that is the trash. I have bought a ton of products over the past ten years, and very rarely does a product trigger a written review from me. . . . this almost caused me a ton of money when I was doing roof work of an RV where it is very important to get it correct and not have additional leaks . . . and this one product almost didn't allow me to finish an important caulking project . . . if it wasn't for a screwdriver and the force of my fingers, the project wouldn't have gotten completed putting the RV at a greater risk for leaks and additional problems. SO TRUST ME, anyone who uses this more than one or two times and/or who needs this for a rapid, well caulking need in a brief period of time, will come to the same conclusion which is - NICE attempt, but does not perform like a normal caulking gun and for the most part fails miserably. As the video shows, when you need the caulk to come out of the gun and you don't get the results when the trigger is pressed, particularly when you need it to accomplish a project, you will realize this product only deserves one place in your garage or toolbox and that is in the trash. TRUST ME - DO NOT BUY!

Overall a good product and easy to use. My only "complaint", which really isn't that big a deal, is that it does not work with the cardboard caulk/adhesive tubes, the cardboard just wads up in front of the cutting blade. Does a fine job with the plastic tubes.

this is a great product and the amazon experience was great. However upon purchasing this i found it at my local runnings supply store for 5 dollars cheaper .

Worked in my confined space. Stops feeding when you let go of trigger. Couldn't use caulking smoothing tool as too stiff.
