Outstanding performance and easy setup
This is an outstanding av receiver . Sound is clean, crisp ,powerful… setup was easy using the earc hdmi … Synced beautifully with my tv and all I need to use is my tv remote. There is no lag … Audio for YouTube was outstanding/ exciting- very well done.

Easy setup and great sound
This surpassed my expectations. I have it connected to my 60" Samsung 4K TV using the ARC HDMI connection. If you're only using this for your TV surround sound, this is the only connection you need to make. I have an Amazon Firestick plugged into another HDMI port on the TV. After going through the setup process (you need to be connected to your TV to follow the instructions) you can control the receiver using your regular TV/Firestick remote. I turn on the TV like I always do and the receiver also comes on, I can adjust the receiver volume with the Firestick remote. When you turn off the TV, the receiver turns off, can't get much simpler than that. The setup was straight forward, just connect your speakers and TV, the calibration process is optional. You will need an HDMI cable as it doesn't come with one, aside from that everything was perfect. The sound is great, so far so good.

Serves the purpose nicely and sets the base for high-quality home theatre
This unit serves the purpose I bought it for; to serve as a home theatre base and be able to route my new Samsung TV's sound through my old ADS speakers that I love. I connect the TV via the eARC connection and it works ok however everytime I change channel or fast forward using the TV remote, I hear a popping sound coming from the speakers. It is very annoying. There is also a 2 second lag when changing channels or inputs before the sound comes out, also annoying. I wonder if I should have bought a better model to get better electronics or if there is a way to stop the popping sound I have not found it yet. I'm open to any suggestions you may have. Reducing my rating to 3 stars because of the annoying popping sound on HDML eARC when changing inputs or channels and when fast forwarding. Update 2/27/2025: I did some digging and found this popping sound is a common issue and it is resolved by switching the HDMI audio mode on the TV to "PCM". The popping sound is now gone and when I switch the receiver to Bluetooth, the TV continues to display the TV channel video it was on, only the sound input changes. Not sure how adding surround sound speakers will affect the issue since I read the PCM mode supports only 2 channels. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Raising my rating back up to 4 stars.

Good durable budget starter receiver
I’ve been extremely pleased with this receiver so far. Simple hookup and use, it fits snugly into our console shelf- although maybe a bit too snugly. Unfortunately if you’re looking for atmos, it’s not here. I’ve had it for well over two years now primarily to coordinate all the different accessories that need cabling. It sounds great, and the receiver is budget friendly.

Pretty awful. Dreadful even . This is going into the trash. My last Denon product.
Major pain to set up. I'm an audio guy. You can't plug it in and turn it on, you have to plug if it into your TV and follow prompts, even with simple stereo. No switched outlets which means I have to turn on my sub separately and remember to turn it off later. Terrible Bluetooth. Terrible manual. Another example of a tech product needlessly difficult to use. Took months to find out how bad this thing is, otherwise I would have returned it. Be careful about bumping a random button on the ridiculously bad remote. You might totally lose a function. Good luck trying to locate it in the manual. Speaking on a bad remote, there is a delay using the volume control. You have to hold it down for a couple seconds before the volume changes, and when it does, it jumps in volume. You go from not being able to hear it to being startled by super loud volume. Did I mention this thing is not very good? I keep coming to add more terrible things about this. If you turn the remote button side down, you might have to set it up again from scratch. When using the remote to increase the volume, it lags and then suddenly goes really loud in a burst. This is possibly the very worst receiver I’ve ever owned. Bluetooth in, no bluetooth out. Can’t use Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speakers.

An Excellent Denon AV Receiver At A Great Price!
Denon makes great audio equipment, and this Denon AVR-S570BT is no exception. After 12+ years of daily, faithful use, my Pioneer AV receiver bit the dust. I researched many quality "budget" AV receivers (to make the wife happy...lol), to replace the Pioneer receiver, and a lot of reviews and recommendations came up with the Denon AVR-S570BT. This Denon AV receiver is very intuitive, and easy to setup. It also has a LOT of features in this lower price range. This Denon AV receiver powers all 5 of the passive, original Pioneer Andrew Jones Design speakers (the subwoofer is self-powered) in my 5.1 surround system very well, and with great clarity. No, this Denon AV receiver won't blow the roof off the house, but it does get very loud, even with inefficient speakers, as the Pioneer speakers are, with an 84 db to 87 db sensitivity rating. However, the Pioneer speakers are 6 ohm, so that helps to increase this Denon AV receiver to 90 watts per channel, instead of 70 watts per channel at 8 ohms. This Denon AV receiver also seems to run a lot cooler than the Pioneer receiver it replaced, especially at higher volumes. This Denon AV receiver has just enough "bells and whistles" for my needs, as I really don't need 7.2 surround capability, Dolby Atmos, or WiFi features that come with the more expensive Denon AV receivers. Although, the included Bluetooth connection does come in handy, and it works very well with Samsung Galaxy Smart Phones. The automatic speaker calibration and setup is pretty accurate, but it also allows tweaking to individual sound tastes. There are probably features and modes of this Denon AV receiver that I will never use, but it's nice to know they are included just in case I need them. Overall, I highly recommend this Denon AVR-S570BT for anyone that is looking for a high-quality "budget" AV receiver. Just know that it does not have all of the newest features of some of the more expensive Denon (and other brand) AV receivers. However, this Denon AV receiver serves its purpose for me quite well, and then some. Only time will tell regarding durability and longevity. However, Denon does make quality AV receivers, and if I can get the 12 years out of this Denon AV receiver that I did out of my previous Pioneer AV receiver, I will be a very happy camper. So-far-so-good, though.

Denon is Great, not so for Amazon.
An amazing and easy to use AVR. On screen set up including room calibration provided a wonderful audio experience. This is my second Denon and I have to rate them as top of the line. Amazon Delivery was a problem though, they seem to be losing their advantage especially to Prime members who are told an arrival time at the time of order only to miss that regularly. I have experienced multiple times.... Unacceptable, sucker us in to make a purchase based upon receival date and then not provide that service.

A lot of problems
The sound quality , heat management and built quality is excellent top notch. It is very good for music in sterio mode.Unfortunately that's it it's full of problems. Volume control is really bad slow when using tv remote better when i used a xbox as input still not good enough. Hdmi cec is a joke on this device if you are using more then one device. The UI and software is bad not enough customization and looks like software for 90s. It didn't do 4k 120h and sometimes just dosent display the xbox vedio on tv. Do not buy at full price not worth it i wouldn't pay anything above 300 for this

Sorprendente

Second Denon, great unit
I'll preface my review with this: I don't use smart tech or apps. I prefer my tech dumb, and hook devices up to it to make them smart. I also hardwire. If you have concerns about eARC, running apps on the receiver, Bluetooth or SmartTVs integration, my review will not be helpful. Having said that, I had a very specific problem: I wanted my receiver to handle the audio, and my projector to handle the video. My previous Denon couldn't handle it. My choices were running everything through RCA and 3.5 cord, or upgrade. This device solved this problem. The sound is excellent out of this receiver. I also appreciate being able to turn HDMI passthrough off and using the sleep and standby functions (important for me, because I want my projector to turn off when I fall asleep). There are only 4 HDMI inputs, so if you want more you'll either need a splitter or a different receiver (and you'll pay for it). There are RCA hookups available as well, and you have a fair bit of flexibility assigning the inputs through the receiver. The remote is intuitive, no nonsense, and responsive. It's regular IR so you do require line of site. One problem I ran into, it didn't like my older 2006 era Sony Blu-ray player. I was able to get video but no audio. Fortunately, I had a newer model kicking around on another TV, so I just swapped, problem solved. I'm hoping my other legacy devices will work, but I've got the important devices figured out (PC, Bluray, Nintendo Switch). Overall...I'm impressed. It solved all my problems and then some. If you want a good lower to mid-tier receiver that does the job without the fancy bells and whistles, this is for you.
