Sougayilang Jigs Fishing Lures Sinking Metal Spoons Micro Jigging Bait

Great jigs for the money. Caught a lot of Blues and Spanish Mackeral. I did replace the hooks after a few uses. I didn't have any issues with the stock hooks but they feel a little flimsy so I went ahead and changed them out. Love the profile and action on retrieve.

This lure is a JIG! And will produce fish of all kinds when used as such. It can also be used to cast and work back with a jigging motion. I know from experience, it will catch many types of fish including spotted sea trout, cero and spanish mackerel, lady fish, blue fish, jacks, snapper and even shark. It works best when the treble hook is replaced with a J hook. The treble hook it comes with is less than durable. The fish will eventually wear the color off the bait but for about $2 each they are a great value. I have purchased several boxes of them and you will too when you learn how to fish them.

The lures appear to be a good value. They are not a spoon and I doubt that they flutter like a spoon when trolling or retrieving. They are quite heavy/thick for their size. As such they likely are very good for jigging, as advertised. At the advice of other reviewers, I changed out the hooks to a beefer variety. The hooks do look lighter duty and are probably good for smaller fish. I am going out tomorrow, so we'll see if they catch fish.

Overall I like this lure. They are solid weight in a small package. The lure casts well and has a nice eye.The drawback on these are the hooks and possibly split rings. After catching a 2 pound bluefish the hook was straight. I will be swapping the split rings and hooks and believe this will be a nice lure once that's done.

great for blue runners and Spanish macks

Incredible bargain! Beautiful finish, good rings and hooks but rather small. OK for Spanish macks but should be replaced with one # size larger for fish like false albacore or bigger. The finish may not be as durable as that on $10 epoxy jigs like 5the Hogy SI but can be protected simply with a coat of clear water based polyurethane Bottom line is that they catch fish and because of their aerodynamic shape, cast at least as good as other metal lures of same weight. Just tried to buy some more but now they are not available anymore.
