This sound machine has been a life saver! We bought it when our toddler was only a few months old to help her settle after we heard white noise can help. This machine has a wide variety of different noises and musical lullabies so you can try them out with your child to see which works best. The machine itself has a long lasting battery life, good volume selection and a variety of settings. It has a built in timer and will automatically turn off after certain time intervals or you can have it running continuously. There is also a button on the back where you can lock the settings so they can’t be changed. As the machine is portable it doesn’t have a night light but it does have a handy clip so you can clip it on wherever you need to and one charge does go a long way so you don’t need to worry if you are out and about. Overall I’d 100% recommend this sound machine. It’s been one of our best purchases (we actually own 2).

We use Yotos as a sleep aid but when my third was born I wanted something less expensive and not another duplication. Being portable was also helpful but I was sceptical of the sound quality of smaller ones. This is great. Really impressed with the charge too - it lasts ages (overnight plus naps on one charge). I only use the one sound (brown noise hoover type noise) but there are loads to choose from. It goes far louder than you would ever want for a child’s sleep aid. Buttons are easy to use and there’s a lock on the back which I was glad to find as I was noticing it was turning off after 30 mins but it turns out my toddlers had been pressing buttons (there’s a 30/60/90 timer with auto shutoff). Glow in the dark buttons would be the only room for improvement for adjusting volume in the dark but this is nitpicking. This is a great device for the price. I wish I had bought one sooner.

I get tinnitus which can be disturbing when trying to get off to sleep. In the hot weather I put my fan on every night and I realised it helped me to fall asleep and not get distracted by my tinnitus. Now it's getting colder and I no longer need the fan I decided to buy a white noise machine. I was attracted to this one because of the variety of sounds available and the good reviews. I also loved the colour options and choose the lilac one. I now intermingle the sounds on different nights depending on how I feel, but I only tend to use certain options which are the rain, ocean, white noise and one of the fan noises. The others don't appeal to me. I recommend this little magic machine to sufferers of tinnitus because it does seem to actually counteract it, enabling falling asleep better. Especially if you're a light sleeper and sensitive to outside sounds. It has a long charge capacity and plays for many nights without needing to recharge it, but I recharge once a week anyway. Not a bad price, but different colours and designs have different costs, however they all do the same thing! As an aside, one reviewer said she heard a creepy male voice on the rain setting. I haven't done personally, but being intrigued and curious I googled it to see if this can happen and read that "yes, some people report hearing voices, music, or other sounds in white noise, but it's typically a normal phenomenon called 'auditory pareidolia', where the brain misinterprets random noise as patterns. It's not usually a sign of psychosis or that the machine is faulty, but rather a result of the brain's strong ability to detect patterns, similar to seeing faces in clouds". Hopefully that will alleviate anyone's concerns.

A must have for new parents! This is the second one we bought for baby #2, both kids cannot sleep without it. A variety of settings depending on what your child prefers. Good range of volumes so can be used in a variety of settings (nursery and home, or in the buggy). Excellent quality, I’m never worried about it running out of battery or breaking. The noise is lovely and full, not tinny. Three time settings if you don’t want it running all night or set it for baby to wake-up. Love the variety of colours.

Its great. The charge lasts a long time, days in fact and we have it on overnight. Its loud and effective. Different sounds but we only use one. It has memory, so it will replay what you used when it turned off, same sound and same noise level. Great purchase. Use the charger it came with though as I used a different one and had to contact support to reset it (easily done). The ring clip also broke. This is the reason for the 4*. Would buy again if needed.

A great portable sound machine with good variety of options for volume and sounds (white noise, outdoors I.e birds, running water etc.) and lullabies. My 3 month old enjoys the white noise as he falls asleep. 3 timer functions to auto switch off, or can be set to continuously play. Batter life seems good, I’ve used it several times and haven’t needed to charge it yet. It has a handy light indicator for when it needs charging which also tells you when it’s fully charged. Comes with a string and plastic loop for securing to cots / prams. Probably bigger than other machines you can buy (approx 4” round by 1.5” thick.

the first time I heard white noise I couldn’t stand the sound of it - how naive I was !! there are so many things you’re not taught in anti-natal classes and when you’re learning how to comfort your newborn, you forget that one of the basic techniques is to replicate their happy place of 9 months which was their mummy’s womb. I had been using YouTube for white noise videos to help settle my newborn as he started to become light in sleep and difficult to settle at 3.5wks old but it meant I would lose my phone to him and it would rinse my battery while out and about. I came across this and it’s now something I’d highly recommend - my newborn just turned 4wks and, alongside other settling techniques, this machine helps replicate the noises that seem to comfort him the most. I have only been using the white noise and heartbeat settings, of yet, but the other noises seem great for noise desensitisation during the day. the machine is so easy to use, IT IS PORTABLE 👌🏻 and you can hang it anywhere. It’s light, compact and I now don’t want to be anywhere without it. so worth the money for sure and it’ll last too. I wish this was something I had put on my baby wish list while pregnant as this would make a fabulous gift for new and expecting parents.

Great little thing. Loads of sounds/volume options. We use it several times a day and it 100% helps our little one sleep. Battery life lasts several days, too. Would absolutely recommend.
