Lion Brand Yarn, Soft Jeans Yarn for Crocheting and Knitting, Top Stitch, 1 Pack

If you are looking for a true lightweight #3 yarn, this is it. I know it's hard to tell from photos about the thickness of yarn. I just returned 2 that claimed to be a #3, but they were more like cording for beading. Thankfully, this one is not that thin. I show in my photo, one strand of this(left), and one strand of Bernat Baby Sport yarn(right), #3 weight. It is very similar in thickness, so if you have worked with the Bernat baby sport yarn, you will have an idea of the thickness of this yarn. It is very soft, it's a rather small skein, but I really do like it. The color is pretty, and there are other colors available. I haven't made anything yet, but I will review how it works up as far as splitting etc. It looks like it's woven nicely, not too loosely, so hopefully it won't be (splitty) lol. I was asked to make a head bandana/scarf type thing, so I may try it out with this yarn. I will post a pic if I make it. I would most likely order more of this yarn, just wish it came in a larger skein.

I tried the butter lion yarn and hated it, lots of knots and it lost its soft feel after a couple washes. This yarn is a win though, jeans clearly is one of their better lines. Very soft, true to color and not a single factory knot in the skein- knitted a baby bonnet for it and it was worth the cost. Because it’s so soft it’s easier on my hands to knit with so I enjoyed it a lot more than my usual brands.

I’m not a big fan of acrylic yarn but I do return to this one for certain projects like hats. I did crochet a sweater with this and it draped really well. It’s very easy to work with and has a nice soft feel to it. I also like that it’s a tad speckled, which adds texture to my projects.

Good yarn, really does give a nice denim look. The ply does split from time to time in this skein and I did run into a few joining knots which takes away from over all yardage hence 4 stars.

Die Wolle ist der Knaller! Wie ein Bademantel so Kuschelig. Einzig das ab und zu Knoten auftauchen die mit magischen Knoten behoben werden können . Ansonsten ist die Wolle einfach spitze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
