I originally bought a Tush Guard because I was tired of not seeing past the middle of the car hood! Understanding the federal safety regulations car manufacturers must adhere to didn't reduce the frustration of #1) trying to determine distance between me and the car in front of me and #2) hard to park because I couldn't see where my hood ended. SO!!! I purchased this seat cushion, adjusted the seat higher and I CAN SEE GREAT! Very comfortable, fits the seat just right, the memory foam is thick and holding up well. Like it so much I purchased a second one to have for future use! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very comfortable to sit on and helps my back pain.

I go to lots of car races and every venue has those metal bench rail in just 2 hours my backside is sore but the races I go to are typically 8-12 per day for 3&4 days. Unbearable! I bought this for relax and it really does work firm with just the right amount of softness and it’s extremely comfortable. I just used at the Sebring (FL) races on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No soreness only comfort. It’s a must have for attending sporting events not just car races.

My only regret is, I can't afford one for every chair in my house! I fell and broke my back and setting in a hard chair is miserable in 5 minutes of setting down. I had a pad, but it was too thin to solve the issue. When I got this cushion, I sat down on it and knew I had chosen a winner! I took it to my Sunday School class so I can be comfortable during class.

Hmmm . . . It's been 3 days since this arrived, so I'm not sure if I'm just being impatient or if this is as good as it gets, but as of right now, it's just okay. It's nowhere near the 3.5" thickness that's advertised. It's closer to maybe just a little over 2" and it's pretty firm. Is firm better than soft? Not sure, but I'm comparing it to another coccyx cushion that my sister has that's a softer memory foam and to me, hers is much more comfortable. (hers is no longer available for purchase or I would have just bought the same one) Pros : - this one is wider than my sisters which, combined with the non slip dots on the bottom side, keep it in place better even on larger seats. - the larger size also means that there's a larger target to hit when you're not able to easily "aim" yourself to sit on it just right. On seats without arms to help ease me down slowly, the larger size gives much more room for error. - love the carry handle (I took it on an airplane and that made traveling with it easy) - the cover unzips for washability if needed - no logo or markings on it. I'm pretty picky about aesthetics and hate goofy logos, so this makes me happy Cons : - it's really firm. Maybe that's good for some, and maybe it'll soften up over time, but it's a bit hard for my liking - the seat cover is an open weave mesh which is nice for breathability, but if you're wearing shorts or a shorter skirt, the mesh fabric is a little rough and not the most comfortable on bare skin I bought this to help with a temporary issue pre and post op, so for my short term needs this'll suffice nicely. If my intentions were to use this everyday, I would need to look for something else that's more comfortable.

TushGuard Seat Cushion - Cushion for Office Chair, Car Seat, etc.: Purchased two of these because the recliners on our sectional sofa seem to have been designed for people with longer torsos than my husband and me. We also were looking for something that relieved pressure on the tailbone. My husband was very happy with his and reported that it relived the discomfort and pain he had been experiencing. My cushion had a chemical odor (the cat was avoiding sitting on my lap). I left my cushion out in the garage for several weeks (honestly just forgot about it). When I retrieved it the odor was gone. Honestly, it took a bit of getting used to for me. The cushion is quite thick and when I sit on it, it takes a bit before it compresses and molds to my derriere. I am short and my feet do not touch the floor when sitting in my recliner on this cushion ... but I rarely sit that way anyway, choosing to elevate my feet, so it isn't a problem. The longer I have used the cushion, the better I am adjusting to it (and vice versa). It appears to be well made. There is a zipper to remove the cover for cleaning.

This cushion has been a real “ butt, back and hip” saver. Had knee replacement surgery and sitting has been difficult when elevating my leg. This cushion has helped with making more chairs useable. Very supportive and bounces back. Has relieved my hip and leg pain. I can now tolerate riding in the car for more than 20 minutes.

My tail bone gets quite painful if seated for long periods, having read the reviews I thought this would save the day, but I find the filling is a little too soft and compresses down too much defeating the object. The stitching has come apart on one seam which I'm happy to fix, but where's the quality control?

The item was not good or useful for its purpose And none from Amazon came to get the item back
