Giant Sports Keto Cocoa, Chocolate Keto Hot Chocolate Mix, 8.47 oz

I've been a user of this product for years. I love it. But that's because I am Keto. I read the reviews just now (Feb 2026) when I ordered a bunch more of this (it's been "not available" via Prime for awhile). When reading the reviews I saw: It's too sweet, it's not sweet enough, it's not like my (insert shot-of-suger brand here). This product is meant to give a rich, warm, great chocolate tasting shot of MCTs, and it delivers just that. If you are not on a Keto Diet, you will most likely be hunting for a shot of sugar and this product will not deliver that. But, compared to the other chocolate Keto MCT drink found in Prime, the Giant brand (this one) is hands-down twice a good. Litterally. Read the macros on the label. AND, tastes better also. Much richer. Warning: it can clump up if you don't take care. I found a system that works every time for me: using an over-sized mug, add one scoop of the Giant Keto mix to the bottom of the dry mug, STIR vigorously while slowly adding the HOT water, and don't stop stirring until all lumps are gone. Sip. Mmmm. Enjoy!

I wanted something for my coffee that was nearly sugar free and chocolate. I found this product and decided to give it a try. The package has a zip liner for freshness. The product mixed well in my coffee and should work well with hot water, almond milk, etc. There was no gritty taste from not mixing well. The price is a little high and there are alternatives that will save a few $$. I am completely satisfied with this product.

I'm about 5 days into my first can of Keto Cocoa and I am thoroughly impressed. Perfect balance of chocolate, sweetness, and creaminess. Being a diehard chocoholic, I can say that the cocoa used for this product is extremely high quality and memorable. The straight MCT as the fat source with no cheap milk fats is a great confidence booster....amazing taste given the fact. I live a pretty strict ketogenic lifestyle, and more "carbophobic" than most so the 1.5g of carbs (with 1g as fiber)/sugar-free is exactly what I was looking for. Blood stick 90 minutes later and I'm in full ketosis so we're definitely talking legit. Great value ($1.50 per serving) given what it delivers...for that kind of satisfaction when you need it, I'd pay more. If there was a downside, it's that its highly addictive, but who cares when its promoting ketosis. Hey, how about another flavor?! Great product, please keep 'em coming!

11/28/18- updating after my original review. This is a good product that takes a little “doctoring up” to make it a really delicious treat. 3/4 almond milk and 1/4 heavy cream and a spoonful of erythritol will take the aftertaste away and make this quite the treat! I warm the milk first, add a scoop, stir as best I can then heat again. The hot liquid helps incorporate the cocoa mix. Now in the cold months I look forward to this a few times a week!*** Was really excited to try this! I have been making my own which tastes a lot better but a lot more work! It takes a whisk and help from hot liquid to mix this well. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a splash of heavy cream. It was filling and tasted ok but definitely an aftertaste that isnt great. 2 stars due to price, small container and aftertaste

Pricey but really good keto hot chocolate.

This stuff is not a substitute for hot cocoa. I drink the swiss miss packets when I'm not trying to be keto friendly. I make a mocha in the morning before I start my meetings. I was hoping for something that was maybe 75% there. This wasn't it. I couldn't finish the one cup I made, to me, it tasted not good. Chalky, flavor was off. It looks like a lot of people on here like it, so maybe it's just me, but I threw the $30 bag away after 3 sips. I just made my own version with nestle cocoa powder, a splash of fairlife, and monkfruit/erithrytol sweetener that was pretty good. I'm about to have a second cup of that. So it's not that I'm intolerant of anything but the real thing.

I was a bit skeptical as most powedered drinks for "health" never taste right. Being on Keto is awesome but it is so strict, so I thought I would give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted so good! I have it either hot or iced in almond milk. I did try it in water and it was ok but not as sweet. Honestly, I was hooked and drank probably too many in a day. Surprisingly, I still lost weight on keto with a few small meals besides! I had to quit for awhile. I was addicted to the chocolate flavor and couldn't stop thinking about it. It has been a few months and I am ordering another. This time I need self control. Just want you all to know it is an excellent product and well worth the price! One big warning: I also had this when I fell off keto and started eating junk food. Don't do it. When eating sugary foods, your taste buds wont taste the sweetness in this, but when I jumped back om keto doing no sugars, all the sudden this was sweet. And as some feedback suggests, it has an oily taste with MTC oil in it, but I love MTC OIL. It is perfect!
