The Only One My Maine Coon Really Loves!
I have the most gorgeous Maine Coon in the world. (I know all cat - and dog - owners believe their pet is the best), and the only litter he will tolerate is sWheat. This litter really has no odor. There is sometimes an odor in the litter box after he uses it, but it is quickly absorbed by the sWheat. I've never noticed any dust, either. Not a bit. And the litter clumps just fine. Those who have a problem with the sifting probably are using an inferior scoop. I bought a wonderful scoop here on Amazon, which I've reviewed, and it works just great. I can scoop the clump and let the unaffected litter fall through the openings on the scoop. I also love that this litter is flushable and biodegradable. It makes it so easy to keep his litter box clean, and he's a very finicky cat. He won't use his litter box if it needs scooped. I think the thing I love most about this litter is that it contains no harmful chemicals. I don't want my sweetie breathing in anything that could harm him, and I don't want to do so, either. The only drawback I've found with this litter is that it can be a bit messy. My Maine Coon doesn't like to walk on it any more than I do, and he cleans his paws on the side of his litter box every time he uses it, but inevitably, some will fall off them onto the floor when he steps out. I just vacuum it up with a portable vacuum. All in all, this is, by far, the best litter I've ever used, and it's the only litter my cat will tolerate. He and I both recommend it highly.

Great litter
This is my favorite litter so far. Natural and safe incase you have one that eats it occasionally like I do. It clumps wonderfully and is pretty low dust. Secret is sprinkling some baking soda in weekly when you add more litter. Helps loads towards the clumping and it doesn't smell much. Gets a bit of a smell if you don't clean it once a day at least but if you clean it daily and sprinkle the baking soda weekly I don't smell a thing with two cats only if I forget a day. Way better than the supposedly low dust clays I used to use. Clumps as well or better than the clay buy the clay used to leave a fine grey dust over my Entire room where the boxes are kept and everything in it. Hated that. This one has hardly any dust. Costs a bit but worth it to me to not have to wipe clay dust off a whole room several times a week or worry about my dumb orange boy getting an impaction eating it.

Best Flushable -- Just Don't Buy From Amazon
Great litter, clumps well and flushable even into our septic system. Our cats took right to it. We've been using it for years and at least once or twice we've had to switch to something else temporarily and I'm miserable whenever that happens (yes, that includes so-called 'Worlds Best'). To keep from running out, we keep a stock of Swheat Scoop on hand. All litter smells and all litter tracks. This is the least stinky I've encountered. The particles here are small and easily stick in your cat's paws. We set up a pair of litter catching mats, one in front of the box and one leading out of the bathroom (positioned under the door, half on the bathroom tile and half on the carpet in the next room) and these catch most everything, the rest doesn't make it far beyond that. If you're a cat owner, you're probably a fastidious vacuumer as well. This has been very effective in keeping our house from smelling like cat urine. When new visitors come to the house, they comment that it doesn't feel like 'a cat house', and cat owners want to know how we do it. The price here on Amazon is very tempting (I believe it's $35, maybe more, for the same large bag at our local PetPros), so I ordered a spare bag. The formulation from Amazon is different; a direct comparison between two unopened bags showed the Amazon bag's litter was a gray rather than the usual wheaty brown, and the smell is unpleasant; my wife found it extremely offensive. I checked the bag and found similar manufacture dates printed on them. Then I went and bought another new bag locally with a newer date on it and its the same formulation as the other local bag. I don't know what's going on with this stuff from Amazon. It still clumps okay, and the UPC codes across all three bags match, but this Amazon bag might as well be a different product. Maybe its a temporary manufacture issue, maybe the 'D' class litter goes to the web retailers. Someone with more patience than me can do the science.

Out of everything I've tried over the years, this is my favorite cat litter.
Litter box smells like grains. It clumps well. It does dust a little when you pour it, but like I said, it smells nice and doesn't bother me to breath wheat dust, where clay dust would make me cover my mouth. It does track a little bit, but I've yet to find any litter than doesn't. The big thing for me is the flushability. I scoop it into the toilet and flush. Clumps melt in the water, so it's not going to have any problems flushing away even several days worth of clumps at once. It does stick to the bottom of the litter box more than I'd like, but out of everything I've tried over the years, this is my favorite cat litter.

SWheat Litter
I was searching for a clay alternative litter and had tried several other kinds before purchasing SWheat litter. I've been using this several months now and have found it to have a better life expectancy than clay litter, It does clump but not like concrete. There are some litter trails to clean daily but not terrible. Easy to clean out the litter box and be able to wash it out. This is also somewhat flush able as you can follow the directions about that part. I haven't had any problems as long as it is in small amounts. The kitties, I have five of them, were somewhat hesitant at first but have adjusted quickly and well to it's use now. The consistency is of tiny wheat fibers in a small crumble and is lightweight compared to clay litter. One must keep up with daily cleaning because it will stink if not cared for regularly. I would recommend it to others. The price is a little steep but I do use a lot less of it than the clay litter. 40lbs of SWheat scoop compared to 75 lbs of clay letter per month so that does save me quite a bit of money. Kitties and I rate this 5 stars.

Seriously, you need this.
This is far better than any traditional litter I've ever used. The clumps dry solid and don't break apart as you scoop. The clumps don't take up extra litter either; only exactly what was urinated on becomes the clump. I absolutely love that it's flushable and the wheat smell is way better than the chemically clay smell. I was surprised how okay I was with nontraditional odor control. Now what alerts me to cleaning the box is when I can smell urine, which forces me to scoop and clean it more often. I used to be lazy and go 1-2 weeks without scooping, and now I scoop every 2-3 days. One of my cats has a history of litter box issues, so I left one box with the clay litter and slowly transitioned the other to this. She uses the clay box almost all the time, but likes to sniff the wheat box to see what our other cat has been up to. I'd like to try transitioning the other, but even with half the boxes using this product, I'm very satisfied. I havent had issues with bugs upon delivery nor developing over time. This is especially impressive because my apartment is prone to fruit flies (which sometimes went after the clay litter). Long story short, if you're even thinking about trying out a natural litter, I just encourage you to go for it. Worst case scenario is you hate it and transition back to clay. Best case scenario is it makes your cat responsibilities better, reduces strip mining, and makes use of usable farming waste.

Compostable and cat-approved, but DUSTY
I like this litter. It's compostable, so I end up using this to create compost for my flower garden (probably not appropriate for food you grow, but you do you). And unlike some non-clay litters, I've seen that cats generally take to it pretty well. It has decent urine absorbency, and you clean it just like a clay litter. Odor control sucks, but that's true for all litters except for ones made out of pine or those without strong fragrances or baking soda added. My big problem with this litter is the DUST. There are reviews saying it's low dust. I would genuinely recommend these people immediately seek the counsel of a neurologist, because there's no way they don't have brain damage. This litter is almost comically dusty! I have to keep my litter boxes in their own room because of the dust. And every crevice of that room is very quickly covered in a fine layer of litter dust, which is frankly gross and unsanitary. I've found that air purifiers help, but I've even had this litter clog a hepa filter! My current strategy is to place box fans with furnace filters duct taped to them next to the litter boxes. It doesn't even come CLOSE to eliminating the problem, but it definitely helps. If you need a compostable litter, I feel like this is it. But if you think clay litter is bad for dust, you ain't seen nothing yet.

the BEST
This is hands-down the best kitty litter out there! the best use of wheat too, lol! It not only is flushable in large quantities, but it eliminates odours without any synthetic perfumes. It actually kinda smells like oatmeal or cereal or something. Pleasant! But the tiny particles do travel and scatter easily, so do get a litter-trapping mat. I have 3 cats and I have used the "multi cat" version, but this one works just fine. It is so nice to have this delivered in this huge format and not have to bring this home myself too.

No smell, flushable and environmental
This is some seriously amazing stuff! First off, there is no smell. And I mean. No smell. When I walked in the door with clay litters you may not smell kitty byproducts but you still smell the ‘litter’. This stuff, you walk in the door and don’t even know I have cats! The other thing is the flushable option. Carrying super heavy bags of used litter to the bin every week was the one thing I hated about having fur babies. Now, the litter box is beside the toilet and I clean it every time I am in there! Both kitties use the same box because it’s always clean! Use a metal scoop as it is sturdier and a mat to catch the spillover which I needed with clay litter anyway. Never mind no longer needing plastic bags for litter, not nearly as much dust and the environmental impact is nothing comparatively. The clay would stick to my babies feet and they would have to work to get it out while the wheat is no problem at all. I will absolutely continue to buy this litter-it just makes my home fresher and my 2 kitties took to it right away!

Best value for safe, flushable litter!
Much healthier for my kitties and myself! Huge bag lasts two months with two boxes and 4 cats, great for big households/farms! All natural smell and feel, easy to clean up, zero dust. Keeps odor to minimum, as long as it is maintained minimum of twice a day, while clumping remains close to surface, making scooping less messy. Recommend deep fills for regular boxes and low levels on self cleaning/rotation boxes so clumping occurs in the appropriate manner for the scoop method.
