Fast, Reliable, and Affordable Memory Card
This memory card is great—plenty of storage and zero delays when capturing photos or video on my Sony A6700. File transfers to my computer are fast, and overall performance has been very reliable. Since it’s a V60 card (not V90), I can’t use 4K 120p on my camera, though I don’t shoot at that frame rate often. For my typical use—mostly up to 4K 60p—it works perfectly. I picked it up for just $40, which makes it a solid bargain considering the performance. Highly recommended if you’re looking for fast, affordable storage.

amazing memory cards
these are my workhorse memory cards, and so far they do the job well. make sure that when you buy them, the packaging is new and not tampered with. I have heard that buying memory cards on Amazon can be sus, but thankfully my cards were new and good to. I use this for my Sony a7siii and record 4k60 videos at the highest quality, and no issues to report.

I bought two, one failed within a few months. However they replaced with no issue
I have bought a couple dozen SD cards over the years. Never once did an SD card fail. However 1 out of 2 PNY's purchased failed. I usually buy SanDisk and have had 100% good experience with no fails. However because of the price point, and if you record simultaneously (my Sony FX30 has two slots), this PNY is still a solid option and I will buy again because it allows 4K 10 bit 4:2:2 recording at 150MB/s. Please make sure when buying a card that you know the write speed. Most cards prominently show their READ speed and not the WRITE speed unless you hunt for it. For the price point, I have not see another close one at this price point with a similar Write speed that is also V60 U3. That is why it gets 5 starts and only a 4 on storage capacity because of the fail. Fortunately it wasn't client work.

Performs well and as expected for photography!
I was looking for a V60 SD card that didn't break the bank but also had good overall read/write performance. This card has been great for my Nikon Zf. I primarily use it for photography and haven't done much testing regarding video but I haven't run into any issues when I do take video. Its great for photos with a decent buffer. I haven't run into any issues.

Great card
Bought this Card in January 2025 and still works great. FYI this only cost me around $87 for the 512gb at the time, it’s now $299 today. I’m curious to know why it’s $299 now.

Fast and good capacity though not cheap
This works well with my Canon EOS R7. It's fast enough for shooting videos or stills (JPEG or RAW) and has had enough capacity for the kind of nature shoots I do. My only complaint is that it is a bit on the pricey side. However, with memory, hard drives and high-end video cards all going to cloud storage and AI centers, what can you do? Bite the bullet and get it is what. Some day when I've got some spare bucks lying around, I'll get another one or two of these for redundancy or extended photo shoots and I'll stick with the PNY 256GB EliteX-PRO60 as a known and (so far) reliable entity.

Reliable card for high bitrate 4K work
This is my go to SD card for the Sony FX30. It handles 4K at 120 frames per second with no issues. Write speeds are consistent and solid. I have used it heavily with long recording sessions big file sizes constant rewrites reformats and file transfers. No errors no corruption no hiccups. It delivers the performance needed for professional video work. When I hit record I do not have to worry if the card will keep up. That kind of reliability matters. Transfer speeds are fast when offloading footage. Read performance holds up to the spec and that helps when moving large amounts of data. I will be getting more. This is the kind of gear that does its job so well you stop thinking about it. It just works.

First day and all three cards look fine
I bought three PNY 256 EliteX-Pro V60 cards and they are close enough to advertised so that I'm happy, especially as they were on Prime Days sale. The card reader I'm using is also good. After trying another reader I saw a drop in speed to one third of what these speeds are. That speed test is included. The fast reader is the Kingston MobileLite Plus USB 3.2 SDHC/SDXC UHS-II Card Reader (MLP). It's only $9.99. If you aren't getting the speeds you expect, even though you're plugged in to the blue USB port, then it could be your reader. That Kinston MobileLite Plus really moves and as I shoot raw plus jpeg, about 90 to 100 megs per set of images, moving them all off the card as fast as possible helps. I will update if the cards are a problem and how long they last. Right now they are certainly fast though. Good deal!!

Great value UHS-II V60 card – fast, reliable, and perfect for 4K video & burst shooting!
I’ve been using the PNY 256GB EliteX-PRO60 UHS-II SDXC card in my mirrorless camera (Sony A7 series) for the past couple of months, and it’s been an excellent performer for the price. It’s marketed for professional photographers and videographers, and it delivers where it counts. What stands out: • Impressive speeds — Up to 280MB/s read and 180MB/s write (as tested in benchmarks and my own transfers). Offloading RAW files and 4K footage is noticeably quicker than my older UHS-I cards – I can clear a full buffer in seconds with a good UHS-II reader. • Handles demanding tasks smoothly — No buffering issues during 4K UHD video recording, burst mode high-res stills, or even extended clips. The V60 video speed class ensures reliable 4K/60fps capture without dropped frames in my setup. • Solid 256GB capacity — Plenty of space for a full day’s shoot of RAW+JPEG or long 4K videos. I’ve shot hundreds of bursts and several hours of footage without filling it up too fast. • Durable build — Shockproof, waterproof, temperature-proof, X-ray-proof – all the usual rugged claims, and it feels premium with no issues in varied conditions (outdoor shoots, travel). • Backward compatible — Works fine in UHS-I slots at slower speeds, but you really unlock the potential in UHS-II devices. • Lifetime limited warranty — Adds peace of mind from a reputable brand like PNY. Minor notes (not deal-breakers): Write speeds can vary slightly depending on the device/reader, but in real-world use with my camera and fast reader, it’s consistently strong. It’s not a V90 card, so if you’re pushing extreme 8K or super-high-bitrate RAW bursts, you might want something faster – but for most prosumer/enthusiast needs (4K video, burst photography), this punches way above its price point. If you’re looking for a high-performance UHS-II card that won’t break the bank but still handles professional-level content creation reliably, this PNY EliteX-PRO60 256GB is a fantastic choice. Excellent value, quick transfers, and zero reliability issues so far. Highly recommend for photographers, vloggers, or anyone upgrading from slower cards!
