Salter Chocolatier Hot Chocolate Maker, Electric Milk Frother 4 in 1

Great quality as a cheaper alternative to the well known brand. Easy to use, heats up quickly and easy to clean. Delicious!!

This is the third different type of milk frother I have tried over a period of a few months. The first was a special deal in a well known discount supermarket, and the second was a less well known make purchases from Amazon, at a similar price to this one. Both stopped working within a couple of weeks - the first one the power supply ceased to function and with the second one, it stopped heating and would only froth. I returned both and bought this instead as it is a well known brand and had good reviews. A few months in and it still works perfectly. It is easy to clean, even cooled and dried milk and hot chocolate comes off instantly with hot soapy water. It froths milk well, producing full foam, part foam or you can just use it to heat milk and / or hot chocolate (for the heating only function there are a few temperatures to choose from). You can froth cold milk too. I’m not really a fan of hot chocolate made this way (tastes the same as instant but more expensive) so I mainly bought it as a milk frother for coffee. Happy with purchase, and good to know that I have found one that doesn’t stop working within weeks.

I like the Salter brand a lot, and I have 2- 3 appliances which I'm very happy with. But they NEVER put in anything like enough guidance as to how to use it, or how to clean it. I worked out what to do with my slater air-fryer - which I love! - but I cant work out this hot choco;ate maker. They need to do much better in this respect.

Broke after less than a year. Amazon great customer service as always to refund without issue.

Love this! Easy to use and clean. Good design of product and makes a lovely hot chocolate. Froths the milk just right and it’s not too hot to drink once it’s made. My son loves this and will now make himself a white hot chocolate as it’s so easy to use. The milk level is just right for a mug, and then just put the chocolate flakes/powder in and turn it on.

I wasn’t overjoyed with this device. I found a different make for half the price so returned this one. On the few times I had used it, I found that making a beaker of hot chocolate resulted in regular overflowing of the drink. I also found that the device was a pain to clean, particularly as it can’t be submerged in water or put in the dishwasher. The milk would stick to the sides and burn to that tough brown skin stuff that sticks to the walls of devices like this like superglue.

I bought this for a gift. They have said that it was good and works well.

Did not expect it to be as good as it is ! Really frothy the milk for cappuccino etc. Hot chocolate is lovely and the chocolate set is delicious. Value for money and easy to use. We use along side our coffee machine , for frothy drinks. Agree hot chocolate could be hotter , if you like it hot but we pour into microwave cups/ mugs and just give it an boost . Mind as it is very hot then below frothy.

Unfortunately it stopped working after 3 uses.. had to return it back. Frothing process takes a very long time. Im sure there are users that had better experiences with this, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t good

Chocolate keeps on burning on the bottom & very difficult to clean. For milk only it's perfect. Hot chocolate it's not good & I would like to return
