These worked perfect! I use them as a cold shoe for my mic on my Nikon DSLR and I use them for my GoPro. There’s really a ton of uses for them and the price can’t be beat.

I thought they'd be fairly tough metal but the firs time I used one, it broke in half! Didn't put that much pressure on it. Not very pleased. I bought solid brass before but it was heavier. This is just not made for what I wanted to use it for! Update Sepember 5, 2018: Seller contacted me over my original 3 stars and asked why. I explained how one unit broke the first time I used it. Seller asked for a picture showing the damage. I sent him one showing the weak point and he promised to have the manufacturer make a better quality part. That's why I gave it another star. One was defective and the other one seems to be working fine but the seller was fantastic!

Good quality items. Used it for my cameras and external microphones and they worked great. Has a small issue one item but seller took care of it immediately.

Needed this to solve a problem with a video light mount. Worked great without problems.

Using this for an odd application, raising up a mic on a GoPro cage with a cold shoe mount. Works perfectly fine and the cold shoe adapter locks in really good.

If you need to mount a light that requires signal from the camera, this ain't it. But, if you need a good holder for a light or mic that does not need it this is great.
