EGOHOME Queen 14 inch Memory Foam Mattress for Back Pain Relief Medium Firm

This mattress may become my dream come true. I say 'may' because we just purchased it. It comes rolled up, compressed and boxed. They even provide an envelope opening tool to safely remove the plastic wrapper (nice touch). I recommend trying to remove plastic with the burrito shaped mattress on the bed if you are doing this alone because when the plastic comes off, it wastes no time decompressing. I was truly surprised that there was no smell. I am so chemically sensitive, too...no smell. The mattress is smooth on top and looks beautiful; to bad it's going to be covered. I have not liked memory foam in the past and this has a memory foam top but once I laid down on it, I felt a more supportive layer that kept my body more aligned. Flat on my back I didn't feel like I needed a pillow! Yet my sweetie said my head seemed perfectly aligned, no flexion, no sinking into the black sea(foam). How was this possible?! The price point for this queen sized mattress fit into my senior budget so that helped sell this mattress to me. Also, it was the first mattress that had a lot of positive reviews so that's why I'm adding my 2¢. I'm letting all my neighbors and family try out the mattress (I have awesome neighbors) family is a little iffy, but they are discerning. So far, a big five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Stop searching, comparing, procrastinating...just do it! (Thank you Nike).

This was my first time buying a mattress in a box so I was a little concerned. Especially worried about it being deformed due to other reviews noting the same problem. I guess I just got lucky. The corners were definitely misshapen upon immediate removal from the box. But after leaving it out for 24 hours all but one corner had filled out correctly. And even the one that didn’t fill out, had definitely filled out more than it did upon first removal from the box. So I wasn’t too discouraged with it. After making up the bed and sleeping in it for a week, I absolutely fell in love!! Unfortunately my back pain did not disappear completely but it definitely felt better than it had in years!! (Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis so due to that I’m not shocked that my pain didn’t disappear completely. I am also a nurse and am constantly on my feet for hours at a time and transferring heavy pts daily. And even with using proper body techniques I still have pain most likely due to my medical disorders.) When you first lay in the bed it is noted to be a bit firm (especially if you keep your house cold like I do. I am a very hot sleeper so I’m the type of person to crack my windows at night when it’s 40 degrees out to help keep me cool. So due to that the bed can feel very stiff at first) but after about 5-10 minutes my body heat will loosen the bed up and it then feels like I’m sinking into a cloud of amazingness. It’s absolutely the perfect amount of firmness mixed with softness for me. I also fall asleep on my side and then usually roll over to my back half way through the night. But no matter if I’m on my side or my back, this mattress hits all the right support spots for both positions. And the best part of all was when I went to take my sheets off the bed after the first week (I wash my sheets every week) I noticed that the last corner that was still misshapen after 24 hours had finally filled out all the way. Even with me sleeping on it all week. So I was very happy with that. This mattress also does a fantastic job at keeping me cool throughout the night. Overall I think it is great for the amount of money I paid for it. (Which I did get it when it was on sale, so I didn’t pay full price, I can’t remember exactly how much I got it for but maybe a little over $300). Definitely recommend it if you are looking for something affordable that feels like it is higher quality than what you pay for.

I have a bad back. I searched and read hundreds of reviews on different mattresses and honestly didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on something that had such mixed reviews. I found this mattress that was decent and said it had a cooling top. I’ve slept very well the pass few months and it hasn’t caved in like a lot do. I will say it’s thick. So finding sheets that fit has been a bit of a challenge but otherwise great.

The comfort of the bed is firm. The bed is a five star, but the reason I’m giving it a four star is because the inside of bed fabric moves. I can get the bed to go back up unless I rip it I can. The bed is worth it. It took away my sciatic pain that I’ve had for years. I love that is so spacious. I fall asleep right away. I wake up well rested. I don’t need a pillow, my body fills full supported. I recommend it. I’m a female, 160lbs, 5ft.

This bed started off so amazing. I’m 180lbs and my man is 210lbs. This bed if Very uncomfortable now. I’ve had the bed for a little over a year. Yes one year and some months. I’ve turned the bed and more so it could be more comfortable. It has that lived in feeling now. Like our bodies is molded into the bed. And I hate that feeling. We have been sleeping uncomfortably for the past 5 months. I hate that I can’t flip this mattress. The other side of it is completely hard, like a table. The side I sleep on has gotten too soft. I sink in the bed now. We also sweat really bad some nights. And my place is ALWAYS cold. I miss what this bed used to be. It was so amazing. Now it’s not giving. The price that paid for this mattress I just don’t want to give it up. I don’t know what to do. I got this in June2025
